Official Matchday Teamsheets
Just wondering - aimed at everyone this post - whether anyone knows where you can get the official matchday teamsheets when at the Bridge on matchdays, as I have purchased prog's over eBay in recent times and most of them have come with the official matchday teamsheet. Thanks in advance..

BIG 7 DAYS
I might be wrong but I think JM will pick Ballack over Mikel. He probably would, but in my opinion Mikel has had a better run in the midfield that Ballack has had this season - but JM will go for "star" over "one for the future". Gotta remember that we're playing lowly Charlton, not Man Utd - where I would prefer Ballack over Mikel.. we'll find out at 14:00 tomorrow..

BIG 7 DAYS
Jose has confirmed that JT is going to be back on Saturday. Cech; Diarra, JT, Carv, Bridge; Makelele, Essien, Lamps, Mikel; Sheva, Drogs - would be a decent lineup..

The next fortnight
I don't like to throw a spanner in the works of what sounds like a nice outcome but the truth of the matter is that in that FA Cup game Villa were the lucky ones - lucky that they only lost by one goal. ON another day Utd could have hammered them - it was another game which showed that if Ronaldo and Rooney don't perform then Utd struggle to win games however they were still much the better side and I don't expect Villa to take anything from the game in the league. Ture, Utd did have the 90/10 percentage of the match.. but defensively O'Neil has got them sorted.. plus he has now gained a Utd defender on loan (Bardsley I think his name is), don't know whether he can play v Utd but that will help the Villa defensively. As you say 'lucky that they only lost by one goal' - that could easily be 'hugely lucky to beat/draw against Utd'.. you never know.. I can see Villa grabbing a point from OT..

The next fortnight
Against Wigan - of course we need to win in order to keep chance on Manwho - I would love to see us give some reseve defenders a run out along with a win because it would make the media stand up and take note that we do have a reseve team/academy/etc and that we don't rely souly on Roman's billions.. Manwho have Aston Villa at the Theatre of Screams and on Sunday's FA Cup performance from the Villa there is every chance that O'Neils men can do the same to United as they did to us on Tuesday 2nd.. and grab a draw against United - I see it as this because Manwho got so much luck against them in the FA Cup tie (90+2mins winner from Solsjaer, not deserved) that Villa have got to have the luck back really.. Hopefully the lead will be down to 4pts come the end of the week - and we can head to Liverpool knowing a win would take us to within a point and place the pressure on the sunday evening manure match v Arse at the Emirates.. fingers crossed

So..... WILL you win it?
I am just awaiting the seasonal Man Utd slip in form.. which will come at the same time as we start to pick our performances up a little.. the weekend of the 20th/21st Jan will have quite a bearing on where the title could and might be heading come May - with us playing Liverfool on the Sat @ Anfield, and Manure playing an in-form Arse at Le Emirates.. on the Sun.. a win for us over Wigan on the 13th will help, and Aston Villa have the confidence from 0-0'ing us on Tues to go and beat Manure.. :( 8)
