Can I put this here? Or does it belong in the football forum?

Predictions? Thoughts?

I hope Eidur scores biggrin.gif

The second leg being at home for Liverpool will be key. I'da put Barca going through comfortably if it were the other way around. I only have them scraping through now by 3 goals icon_wink.gif

I wonder if Riise will still be intact to play in this one.

It's a shame this game is the same night as ours as I would have liked to watch both live.

It wouldn't surprise me all that much if Liverpool only lost by the odd goal in Spain (2-1 maybe) however I actually expect Barca to win both home and away, maybe more emphatically at Anfield..

I'm not up to date on Barca's injury list, I've heard Eto'o has thrown a strop but thats nothing new so I can't see him not playing if he's fit enough to. Messi? I assume he still is, haven't heard anything on him.

I think Barca will win by 2 or more at the Nou Camp, and Liverpool may take that at Anfield, but not by enough to go through.

Eto'o was rested for the league game this weekend as he was feeling weakness in his right knww (the one he injured) - it is claimed it had nothing to do with the strop and that he is expected to be fit for the Liverpool match - I have my doubts though.

I think Messi was on the bench last week but I thin that was his first game back so it could also be too soon for him

Eto's 'resting' from the league game had everything to do with his recent hissy fit. At a press conference Rijkaart was asked why Eto didn't start? He said it was because of the injury not quite being right. Then he was asked if the injury wasn't right then why was he on the bench the previous game? Rijkaart responded by changing the subject and avoiding giving an answer.

Will Ronaldinho pass the ball to Eto?

Will Riise pass the ball to Bellamy?

Will Liverpool finish the game with 11 players?

Who do I want to lose the most? Probably Barcelona, but it is close.

For me the same, I dislike Liverpool, but I truly hate Barca with a passion. The whole holier than thou attitude, when they have some of the biggest cheating ***** in the world.

For me it's an easy choice. I hate Barcelona but I don't hate Liverpool (just dislike them). For once I will be hoping that Gerrard plays like a God and outshines that smiling git Ronaldinho. And I hope someone does a "JT" and kick the ball in Decos gonads if he takes a dive (which he will).

I hate that frigging portuguese w*nker

Speaking of w*nkers. Who made the schedule for this round? That person should be shot. The best games are all on wednesday. I wanted to see Roma - Lyon, Inter - Valencia and Barcelona - Liverpool. Now I don't get to see any unless I skip our game against Porto and I can't see that happening icon_rolleyes.gif

I will watch it anyway, because:

1) Amazing divers competition; (I believe Portuguese will crash Stevie easily icon_lol.gif )

2) Two previous winners and no one is favourite to me. That means I`ll pay more attention to cutting apples with the knife. (Safe match for me icon_lol.gif )

3) Just two ambitious clubs and one of them forced to lose, so I will enjoy every moment of post match moaning, no matter will it be Benitez` or Rijkaard`s.

Will hope for Liverpool. Barcelona is just the biggest pack of w**kers that I have ever seen. Even the stupid reds are better then they are. icon_confused.gif

I'm hoping there'll be an earthquake, taking out both teams and all their supporters. Naturally this will be an extremely localised earthquake, affecting only the stadium area icon_wink.gif

i want the grief addicted historians to win purely because i want to play them in the semi finals.

at the bridge first and then at the 'fortress'

ideally id prefer us to win by a dodgy goal too.

Barcelona seem to be going through a serious loss of form at the moment especially away from home. They have won only once (Spanish Cup) in the last six away games.

Jammy Liverpool.

Tough one to call for me . Dont have much time for the history makers while Barca are Liam Brady's erection manual.

Either way , if Barca win ,Brady will destroy his bed tomorrow night , and if Pool win , the world Liverpool appreciation society will be present on RTE .

I hope Gudjohnsen scores a hattrick, and that Bellamy gets a red card for hitting Riise, while Benitez is storming the field with anger, trying to kick the ball at Bellamy, although, he falls as he tries to hit the ball (because he can't play football), and then get sent of as well (although, he resists, and has to be carried away). Later, Deco gets sent off for his second dive.

What a nice little fairy tale. 139.gif

RedRobMol would especially like it icon_lol.gif

Well done Liverpool, did what we failed to do - win at the Nou Camp.

You have to hand it to them. Great great result

Of course crap tatics and errors helped icon_wink.gif

Reckon they'll get a result at Anfield too, seeing as Barca will probably go all out for a win.
