This will be interesting to see the lineup we put out. I am pretty sure Estevao will be a sub, as he played virtually the whole game in both Brazil fixtures. Delap, Neto, Garnacho have all been rested and you would expect to start. Enzo, if he has recovered too. I don't mind Estevao being a sub for this, considering we have both Barca and Arsenal coming up after. Garnacho and Neto have been both good recently too. Caicedo played 90 mins in both Ecuador games which is annoying so may be rested too. We literally have a game week in, week out so rotation will be necessary and those who played twice during international break, I reckon will be rested considering the congested fixtures coming up.

Taipan got a reaction from ducavis in Newcastle United vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 11th May 12:00 GMTNkunku not in the squad. I think he's played his last game for us.

I think Cueva gets a bad rep.
Although it isn't anywhere near perfect, I feel like the improvement in defending set pieces compared to last season is visibly clear. Especially for a squad as small as ours and with Disasi and Silva not in the backline anymore. Attacking set pieces is another issue entirely, but I like what I see on the defensive end when last season it felt like every cross would lead to a goal opportunity.
Hope it continues to improve.

Taipan got a reaction from Gordon Bennett in Everton vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 10th Dec 23 14:00 GMTThat is worthy of a thread of its own. Starting with the injuries to Chilwell and James. Surely those were mismanaged. Then you've got the injuries to Lavia, Nkunku and Chukwuemeka. Seemingly minor injuries at the time, but they've been out for 5-6 months. WTF. Give them another month and they could have about recovered from a full knee reconstruction in that time. Questions need to be asked!

These constant injuries on players who don’t even play is questionable. So many set backs.

Just watching the Newcastle vs Man Utd game. I'm not sure that we should be focusing on individuals ATM. It would be good to see Nkunku of course, but I am desperate to see any of our players playing with the energy, commitment, desire and constant harrying of an Anthony Gordon, a player that most of us turned our noses up at yet is currently better than any player we have, 100m generational talent or not.
I just want these players to run their guts out and to hound and hunt in packs all game long. Then add a bit of real class like Nkunku into that formula.

Taipan reacted to timetowaste in We've got a new KepaUs football fans to tend to have short memories, it's not even been a month since he cost us two league games on the spin against Man City and Fulham. He still definitely needs replacing in the summer.

Taipan reacted to The Rising Sun in Kai HavertzHe's not a centre forward no matter how talented he might be.
FFS stop playing him in that position I think there's a very good player in him, but it's not at centre forward

Taipan reacted to RMH in Conor GallagherI thought he was our best player (apart from Silva and Badiashille), at least he tried to defend and get things happen in attack, and he was the only one matching the intensity of Fulham’s players, who bullied us all over the pitch.
