Wednesday we entertain Blackburn at the bridge. This is a MUST win game, to be honest most are going to be 'til the end of the season.

On the same night Manu take on Watford at home, probably the worst side I've seen in the league this season. 3 point banker, home win.

Then Saturday we play Charlton at home, a side we really must beat, if only to apply pressure to the Manc's who play away to Spurs on Sunday.

Every chance we've had of closing the gap Reading + Liverpool or even going top V Fulham, even if only for an hour, to apply pressure to Utd we've blown it.

We MUSTN'T waste any points this week and have a chance of Manu starting away to Spurs with the gap down to 3 points. If they fail to win that match we'll see how United they really are over the coming weeks!

C'mon Chelsea, LETS PUT ALL THE BOLLOX BEHIND US AND PICK THIS SEASON UP BY THE SCRUFF OF THE NECK. STARTING WEDNESDAY NIGHT!!!

WERE IN IT TO WIN IT - MORE IMPORTANTLY WE'RE ALL IN IT TOGETHER!

CMON YOU BLUES!

Well put Bluenut. I couldn't agree more. We really have to start here if we are going to manage to win the league. Another point worth mentioning is that Liverpool will most likely win tomorrow and so we will go into the Blackburn game just 2 points ahead of them. If we fail to win both games we may even find ourselves in 3rd before the weekend is over.

Blackburn have looked pretty impressive lately (apart from a brief glitch at Watford) and Pedersen seems to be at his best right now. The young striker Derbyshire has also looked good and of course McCarthy will be keen to impress his former coach. I think it will be a tough game and our makeshift defense will do well to keep a clean sheet. Hopefully we can continue our run of scoring form and Sheva will manage to get on the scoresheet again.

I will go for 3-1 with goals from Sheva, Lamps, and Percy.

I don't think Terry is back. So I would go with

Cech

Paulo Maka Essien Cole

Mikel ballack Maka Lampard

Sheva Drogs

Maybe robben instead of Mikel

Actually maybe I would go with Bridge instead of Cole because he is more willing to attack, I don't say a better attacker just more willing.

We shouldn't fear those behind us but go hard at those in front.

I know maka is god, but even he wouldn't do very well playing in two positions!

The Blackburn game will not be easy, but as Bluenut says this is a MUST win game, as Man Utd are bound to p*ss all over Watford and improve their GD even more.

Then the weekend games and Spurs are capable of a result at home, no doubt about it. Trouble is, there is a fair chance they will lose to Arsenal tomorrow in the CC semi and that could then have a knock-on effect come Sunday - lets hope not.

All if's and but's at the moment but COME ON YOU BLUES!!! 128.gif

Jose has confirmed that JT is going to be back on Saturday.

Cech; Diarra, JT, Carv, Bridge; Makelele, Essien, Lamps, Mikel; Sheva, Drogs - would be a decent lineup..

I might be wrong but I think JM will pick Ballack over Mikel.

He probably would, but in my opinion Mikel has had a better run in the midfield that Ballack has had this season - but JM will go for "star" over "one for the future". Gotta remember that we're playing lowly Charlton, not Man Utd - where I would prefer Ballack over Mikel.. icon_wink.gif

we'll find out at 14:00 tomorrow..

This is the time when we have to hit serious form and not drop stupid points . With J.T. back my confidence is returning and with Sheva looking sharp again i think its time he delivered in front of goal .He got into a few good positions v Blackburn and unlucky not to score .

Don't say that icon_eek.gif . We've unexpectedly dropped points against so-called lowly opposition more times than I would care to remember icon_twisted.gif

just gotta keep asking!

if united can win every match between now and the end of the season then good luck to them, they will deserve it.

what we have to do is make them win every game.

we have to hold our nerve and keep chipping away. we must not make it easy for them by making any stupid mistakes ourselves - starting with middlesborough.

we can do it - I believe!!! icon_lol.gif
