Why can't we get a proper referee in these big matches?

I received the membership pack on Tuesday but no sign of my membership card. I'll give it till the first week of September - seeing as the official site says they're going to get them out by the end of August.

I'm sure I heard Jose saying on MOTD2 that JT will be in the defence against Liverfool, guys! Or is that just me having wishful hearing

So does that mean I should now contact them seeing as I haven't received mine yet! (not that it matters and awful lot whether or not I have it as I can still order tickets with my membership number online! ;)) How many others have/haven't got their membership cards yet?

Does anyone know when the kickoff is? Soccernet says 03:30am, but the official Chelsea HTML site (seeing as its the only version which gives the pre-season fixtures) says 02:00am :?

grr, at this time in the morning I can't be doing with refereeing of the s**tist quality - who is this bloke in the black? other than that; some excellent flowing football from the Blues (thats Chelsea btw, not the Bluewings - they've been rubbish). A couple of scares at the back but thats what pre-season is for.. JT - as solid as ever!

Yes and Yes.. I read somewhere that we'll start with Frank Lampard and Michael Essien in the midfield for the match tomorrow morning (4am!)

As much as I'd like to see Sahar, Sinclair and Ressies Co. I would like Jose to play as strong a lineup as possible for the Man Utd match tomorrrow. I know that the players are going to give them a gaurd of honor, but then we should focus on stamping our aurthority on Man Utd - showing them that we aren't going to go away! (Beat them at the Bridge and Wembley will make up for losing the Premiership title ) I'd then like to see the reserves v. Everton - so that JT, Lamps, JC, etc are fighting fit to crush Man Utd at Wembley!

A case of him starting for the club in replace of Shevcehnko. I think he deserves a chance to start a match and I feel he has the qiuality to be a permanent fixture in the side. Not just now but next season also. Got to agree with that mate! Saying that - Sheva was a whisker from making it 4-3 in the last min. which just goes to show that he is starting to settle in, but maybe next season we'll see the real Ballack and Sheva come through (will have given them a season to settle in which is what I think big name foreign players need [Drogs' second was an improvement on his first season with us and then his third - speaks for itself - 29 goals])

Nibs - I say that the 5 is probably correct for Boula but one thing; once it was Boula and Carv as the CB pairing we looked as though we could rely on sending everyone forward. Whereas when its been Essien/Carv it seems as though we had to rely on the "main men" up front (Robbie, Drogs, Sheva, Lamps, etc). Just a word on Kalou - a super-sub! Seems to score nearly everytime he comes off the bench (Blackburn at home, Pompey away, today v Spuds, etc).

would you look at that... Bolton and Blackburn - very physical sides - at OT, and Sparky will want to give us a little helping hand as well as continuing the fine form Blackburn are in. Big Sam will want to beat United in order to get Bolton's push for Europe back on course and they're always at their best against the top sides. I can see Bolton and Blackburn possibly picking up a point each at United - so there is the 4 points dropped for you.. but its a big ask of the two. which would mean by the time they visit the Bridge - if the two draws and we win all our matches to it - we can take the top of the league against United at the Bridge; sweeeeeeeeeet!
