  2. The whole point of the money debate should be, when do you have enough money? I think if most people had £10million, they could manage it well and would never need to worry about money again. So, when we see people who are millionaires many times over acting like they're still hungry for money, it does feel negative to normal, down-to-earth people. When you have tons of cash, money should no longer be a motivating factor in your decisions. But we live in a society where greed is off the chart - and even your average man on the street can be stupid enough to sympathise with greed. I really hope that John Terry chooses Chelsea over money, as he's certainly got more than enough dosh.

  4. When the the club was still in a crazy Twilight Zone episode I was, like many people, baffled by what was happening. I just couldn't get my head around it. But then it dawned on me that Mourinho is even craftier than I could have imagined him to be. He wanted to leave Chelsea FC, but if he quit, he'd tarnish his reputation with Chelsea fans. So being such a determined person, he did everything he could to get sacked. Jumping up and down like a lunatic when the medics ran onto the pitch and then abusing Eva, choosing the same fruitless tactics each week, and sticking by players who obviously weren't performing. It all went together to create a huge disaster that ended up with Mourinho getting exactly what he wanted: sacked. But even though I believe this, I still have a soft spot for him. Although, I can now appreciate why so many people across the world of football don't like him.

  6. It's funny that some people - especially in the media - are saying that Mourinho used the medical team as an excuse after the match. Just watch how he reacted when they ran on the pitch. He was genuinely hysterical about what they were doing; he didn't just bring the issue up after the match. No, he really was angry in that moment and he spoke out about it after the match. I'd say that Eva is bang out of order. Mourinho is the governor, so as much as she was doing her job, she should also respect Mourinho's perspective and let things slide. The way she's spoken out in a way to get sympathy, has everything to do with making Mourinho look like a villain. Mourinho is angry with her, she is angry with Mourinho. Both should talk about what happened and learn from it. The way Eva has played into the media's hands, shows that her loyalty to Chelsea and Mourinho was frail. Once again, Mourinho is painted in a bad light, when he actually has a point. He's nearly always unfairly treated, so it's disgusting to see some Chelsea fans siding with the medical team and the media's view of the situation. Mourinho deserves more respect and understanding, because his point of view actually makes sense if you can appreciate what happened in that moment.
  7. I totally agree. Lots of people - including Petr Cech - don't understand that loyalty and honour are extremely important virtues. Why do so few people in the modern world respect morals? It's highly immoral for Petr to turn his back on Chelsea FC and choose to join Arsenal. Petr Cech, as much as he was a great goalkeeper for Chelsea, isn't a man of honour. He should have a bond with CFC that makes him fully aware that going to Arsenal would be a severe act of betrayal. Instead, he's not happy to be the 2nd choice goalkeeper, so in an act of spite, he joins Arsenal. It's disgusting. People will make excuses for Petr, but they're all airy-fairy and fail to appreciate the gravity of the situation. There aren't any credible excuses to be made for Petr. He was at a huge, succesful club, and adored by the fans. He was earning good money and was an important, much loved part of the Chelsea family. Him choosing to go against Mourinho's wishes and betray Chelsea FC, is something no Chelsea fan should forgive.
  8. He's always had a strange grumpiness about him - and a look on his face like he's having a bad time. Of course, he does smile sometimes, but I always had the impression he's not very happy and feels stressed out. Maybe he's just someone who doesn't like talking? I've never heard him say anything insightful when England lose. I remember when he decided not to talk to the press after England were, once again, rubbish in a tournament. I think he's been a very good player for Liverpool, but he's not someone I've been very fond of. He's definitely not on my list of footballers I don't like, though.
  9. I don't post on football forums very often, but over the years, I've noticed one thing that really stands out across the internet: Arsenal fans are nearly always incredibly deluded, horrible people. They're like vicious spoiled brats. It doesn't matter if they're young or old, male or female, they act like Arsenal FC is on an almighty level above all over clubs. They think their club shines the brightest, has always played the most "beautiful" football, and will always represent what football should be all about. Reality never plays a part in an Arsenal's fans thinking. They always think back to the Bergkamp and Henry days, come over all warm and fuzzy inside, and then spout a lot of nonsense and vitriol towards other clubs(primarily Chelsea FC). It's behaviour that makes me feel a bit sick, but I also have to laugh at how crazy it is. Arsenal fans need mental therapy, because they're stuck in a time warp that's frazzled their brains and made them extremely negative examples of the human race. Hating other clubs isn't something I take pleasure in, but with Arsenal, I really do love to see them fail. It's only because the club's fans have terrible, sickening attitudes. There might be such thing as a nice, fair Arsenal fan, but I haven't noticed any over the years. It's most probably a rare breed, or extinct in a world full of Arsenal glory hunters who first noticed Arsenal in the late-1990s.
