Do you mean strange to buy a player and then loan them out straight away? I think it might be the new order of things, so to speak. If we can buy a player for 7-8M, loan them out straight away so they get game time, sell them a season or two later for 10-12M that all goes into the pot for transfers and dealing with FFP. Or if he's good enough, then draft him into the first team. I say that because I wonder how much Mourinho is insulated from transfers besides the big buys. Also, from the press I gather Mourinho has a better relationship with Michael Emenalo (I think?) than he did with Frank Arnesen.

I don't understand why rights to FA Cup games are sold like more like league games -- one or two live plus highlights package -- when it's a different type of competition. Give us the ability to select any game. And please FA, get rid of the live broadcast ban between 2:45 PM and 5:15 PM on a Saturday that was enacted in the 1950s to protect lower league attendances.
