  1. ROME, ITALY - DECEMBER 7: Chelsea fans watch the UEFA Champions League 2nd Stage Group D match between Lazio and Chelsea held on December 7, 1999 at the Stadio Olimpico, in Rome, Italy. The match ended in a 0-0 draw.
  2. Ok, so maybe you’re just a little hard of thinking. The “first time” I referred to was you referring that Liverpool c**t as “Hendo”. How else should you refer to him? It’s up to you, but I don’t see anyone else referring to the f**ker as “Hendo”. Neither do I see anyone else wishing that we lose the FA Cup Final. Only you. And with that, I’m out of it. You’re really not worth any more of my time.
  3. First time in my entire life I’ve seen someone describing themselves as a Chelsea fan refer to Henderson as “Hendo”. Still there’s a first time for everything, right? But in your case I doubt very much whether this is anything like the first time. All that stuff about wanting Chelsea to lose the FA Cup Final? Come on, do us all a favour and come out of your closet. The red one. You know you’ll feel better for it.
  4. Straight in the trophy cabinet, the DVD goes on sale next week! “Grounds Team of the year, we’ll never sing that!”
  5. Point taken!
  6. Either that or Sarri’s back….
  7. Ben Jacobs latest Ben Jacobs @JacobsBen · 1h Replying to @JacobsBen A legally binding sale agreement does NOT have to be signed by today. The parties will continue beyond Friday if they need to. There is confidence they won’t have to but it’s not a rigid deadline. And from final negotiations to an actual sale, two weeks will likely be needed. EPL sources tell me they expect to complete the O&D Test within seven days having already ‘soft vetted’ the listed directors. They must also assess three-year business plans. They can’t officially do this until they are fully locked. DCMS sources say the government are content freezing the debt and are also “comfortably” in a position to approve a sale before May 31. The official line remain #CFC’s special licence will not be extended beyond that. It’s being called “a hard deadline”. Raine will turn to Sir Martin Broughton if anything unexpected stops Clearlake-Boehly taking over. Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not the back up. Raine are not prepared to engage with the Nice owner at this stage having already communicated in writing he is not part of the process. Unclear at this stage how an announcement will be made. #CFC executives have been asked to draft a statement, which is likely to be a joint one. They still may wait beyond just a signed sale agreement. Told that’s the government’s preference but it’s not really in their control.
  8. Best headline ever!
  9. I do hope this is true sh*t logo for a sh*t network. Looking forward to not seeing that sh*t on our shirts.
  10. f**k me, I’m pissed off, but I’m not that pissed off. We were sh*te today and we’ll be sh*te again. But we will pick up, we will come good again, maybe not this season, which what with one thing and another, most of us will be well glad to see the back of, but we will get back to winning ways. The best thing about the sh*t times is that they make you appreciate the good times that much more. See there’s always a bright side! And I haven’t even mentioned the seventies and the eighties.
  11. Sad to say, I think Tuchel has to carry the can for the way things are going. It’s unreal the way our performances continue to go from bad to worse and even worse again. Ah well, with new owners in the pipeline, maybe a change of manager is not only a probability, but essential.
  12. 2-0 up at half time!
  13. And in a further parallel with Roman Abramovich, this is his yacht, the Hampshire II
  14. Re owning two football clubs, I came across this on Sky, taken from article entitled: Why Radcliffe has bid | 'I would be excited about this bid if I was a Chelsea supporter' "If he was to buy Chelsea, you couldn't have a situation where Nice and Chelsea were playing in the Champions League, that wouldn't be allowed under UEFA rules. I think one would be able to play in the Champions League and the other wouldn't be able to play any higher than the Europa Conference League.“ So dual ownership maybe not a problem after all.
  15. Not just a useless bitch, but a useless scouse bitch. What do you expect?
  16. I’ve heard Jim Ratcliffe described as: “an egomaniac who just wants to spend his money for the sheer glory of it.” Dunno about you, but that sounds just about perfect to me!
  17. More on the Ratcliffe bid: Ineos owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe makes late £4 billion bid for Chelsea exclusive Matt Dickinson Friday April 29 2022, 1.55pm, The Times Sir Jim Ratcliffe has made a late, sensational bid of more than £4 billion to buy Chelsea. The British billionaire sent the bid to the merchant bank which is conducting the process this morning. The owner of Ineos, the petrochemicals giant, held discussions with Bruce Buck, the Chelsea chairman only yesterday and has launched a late attempt to beat off three American consortium. "We put an offer in this morning," Ratcliffe told The Times. "We are the only British bid. Our motives are simply to try and create a very fine club in London. We have no profit motive because we make our money in other ways." Ratcliffe said that the offer would include a pledge of investing £1.75 billion over ten years in the club in terms of developing the stadium, team and infrastructure - on top of meeting the valuation of about £2.5 billion for the purchase. Given the size of Ineos and the resources of a vast privately-owned company, Ratcliffe said that Ineos was in a position to send the money and close the deal this weekend if required. He said that he had also discussed the deal with government.
