Gianluigi Donnarumma
First of all, I'd take Emenalo out of the equation. It won't be up to him to decide. Secondly, I would not use swear words. I would say you have a contract, you either be a professional or you sit on the bench. If he is still complaining he'll go to the reserves. Eventually he'll learn. Thirdly, you seem to know very well what Donnaruma eventuall will turn out to be. I personally don't believe in the next-this next-that talk. He is no one until he proves himself, period. Look, you can either be like Tottenham or you can be like Bayern. If you want to be like Tottenham, fine. I want Chelsea to be like Bayern.

Uli Hoeneß will disagree. That is why Bayern keeps on winning while the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool and others constantly keep giving away their progress to spanish clubs. It's up to anyone to decide whose example they want Chelsea to follow, but my stance is clear - there must not be any negotiations with the spanish clubs over our best players.

You can always say the opposite mate. You can say the sun is cold or Trump likes muslims. Doesn't mean you're saying the right thing. "Being proactive" comes at a cost, you seem to ignore that. It's cheaper to just send the spanish club to hell.

Very true indeed. And that's something I hope we can fix going into the next season :)

Well look maybe the way I said it wasn't clear enough. Essentially what I'm saying is that if we sign a player then it should be someone who will one way or another improve our great club. For Donnaruma to improve our team we would have to sell someone who can be considered the best in the world first. Then we'd also have to spend a lot of money on this kid and then there is the inherent uncertainty of every talent actually becoming a world class player, which in the majority of cases does not happen. Add to this the fact that we have other positions, where our options right now aren't just not world class, they're quite frankly average and require urgent attention. So this is my point: Why would we go through the drama of signing this guy, through the uncertainty of developing him and through the pain of seeing Courtois leave to that Spanish club when we could just tell them to go where the sun don't shine.

If you're worried we have to give in to Real Madrid or whoever, then, with all due respect, the problem is a lack of attitude rather than a lack of talent in the squad. We are not Tottenham. :) Edit: Let's use the money to buy players we actually need.

Why would we be interested in a "talent" if we have a world class goalkeeper, possibly the best in the world, in our team already?

All I can see here is grave a need to improve our record against the "top six" next season! But that's all a matter of perspective.

Burnley Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 12/02 2017 KO 13:30 GMT
They're better than the Manchester clubs, Arsenal and Liverpool at home. Burnley away doesn't read as hard as it actually will be. I hope our players know that. I think we will see a close game in the beginning 20-30 minutes as they will use their freshness to try and upset us. After that, I expect us to take the helm and dominate the game. If we won't concede an early goal, we should go out of this on top.

Chelsea Kits for the 2017/18 season
No offence, but this is unacceptable as a first team kit (edit: it wouldn't sell outside of the UK). It would be great to have it in the fashion range on the megastore though, I'd buy it.

Chelsea Kits for the 2017/18 season
I think they're alright.

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
It's easy to think that, yes. But that's because Costa is a very flamboyant type, to say the least. Hazard has had a bigger impact though. That's not just me saying it, just look at whoscored or squawka. Hazard and Courtois are the only untouchable players in this squad. Costa can go if the money is right, but that's just my opinion now.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Which prompts the question - who gives a sh*t?

Sergio Aguero
I am fairly sure he would want to. In fact I am certain he'd have chosen Chelsea in the first place back in 2011. The question is rather - will City let him leave?
-
Sergio Aguero
28... Regarding the other point, I believe we were pretty much still stuck with Torres back at that time in 2011...
-
Sergio Aguero
So there we go, they are linking us with Aguero. For whatever reason. It will never happen. Right? RIGHT? No matter how unrealistic this seems to be, even if there is a tiny bit of truth in it, this could, after Ronaldo, become the second biggest transfer in history. In terms of player quality.

Hakan Calhanoglu
Some very impressive stuff there

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
In my opinion, he is still our second most important player this season after Hazard and before Courtois. But he has regressed a bit in January scoring only one goal since that Spurs game, when the rumours around the China offer were in full swing. It has unsettled him, that's for sure. I hope this won't evolve into a cycle in which he will be desperately trying to prove himself, and become selfish as a result of that. Keep it up, Diego, we need you.
-
Hakan Calhanoglu
Apparently he wants to join us and he wouldn't say that if there weren't any serious developments in this regard, would he? He is a talented player, indeed. I am no sure where he would play for us though. He would probably start in place of Matic?
-
Alvaro Morata
I think we tried this one befire, didn't we? He was ousted because he wasn't able to keep up with Hazard, Willian and others. Lukaku is alright for a team that needs a target man who just stands there and taps them in, but we are not such a team. He'll just get benched and then he'll sulk it out like the last time. The last thing I want is a giant cry baby. Dear Chelsea, please never even consider signing him again :)

I admire the way he is talking about the importance of staying focused and his classy reply to Wenger's whining.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Today I heard some people comparing his goal to a solo from Messi. But a few days ago he got stick for being no better than Joe Cole, overrated and all. Funny, isn't it? I think he will be the Premier League's Player of the Year again this season.

Chelsea Vs Le Arse (PL) Sat 04/02 2017 KO 12:30 GMT
Very good analysis by the Telegraph that highlights how superior we were today. I love it! Also very sad image of Cech looking back in reminiscence after the 0-3. Sad to see you suffer Petr! Fabregas has no such problems, by the way.
-
Thibaut Courtois
I would give him a 9/10 for the game against Arsenal today (along with Kante and Hazard). If he had not let Giroud's header go in it would have been 10/10. The Telegraph recently wrote that we won't let Real come anywhere close to him and I call that a good decision!
