Our attacking regressed season on season and we became comically one dimensional. Oscar became a bazaar DM playing AM, and if we weren't getting Cesc playing a worldie to Costa then we were relying on some other player scoring something solo. No team effort on our attacks and it just kept getting worse. So one season we got silverware, great, but it become a dire struggle and slog despite being under no pressure and Jose was losing the plot off the pitch, becoming comical and poisonous. The PSG game summed him up.

If Jose did any attacking training sessions in 3 years then I have an uncle called Sally.

I really hope Zouma comes back the same player. Was a bad injury....but we need him.

That team is letting in 2 goals minimum.

We don't need an overhaul. In 2012 we did as the side was on its last legs, a bit like Man U in Fergie's last year. Right now we need changes but there are talented players there and a decent age range. We just need to be a team again and better than the sum of our parts. Under Jose we went backwards in that respect. The only time we looked like a team with vision and balance was the first season. To only be 4 points from the top with Torres was being better than we were, where as last season we seemed to drag out a league title which should have been much better to watch. Then this season.... disaster after disaster. I think football moved on from Jose unfortunately.

On a positive note, at least next season we won't have to play PSG or Schalke.

I hate Gus's selections. Why pick such a low energy midfield.

We could have got better than 2-1 but their players made fewer mistakes at the end of the day, especially the keeper and strikers.
