  1. Depends on signings. League should obviously be priority, but I don't think we'll end up anywhere near the top. What I really dislike is people saying that they'd rather avoid Europa League football altogether if it meant not getting near the top 5/6. EL win would give us a Champions League spot, and a trophy. Why would anyone want to deny us the chance at getting into a trophy? Realistically, I think we should be aiming for 4th/5th and winning one of the FA or League Cups. Anything else is a bonus. Long gone are the days of league dominance. Anyone can beat anyone.
  2. But it specifically mentions that this is Spurs 3rd time they've been charged in the same period. So the facts are: - Spurs received 7 (SEVEN) more yellows. - Spurs failed to receive a single red when 5 should have been sent off. - Spurs were the ones who initiated the mass brawls. - Pochettino invaded the pitch. - Spurs are also serial offenders. - One of the Spurs players has subsequently been banned for violent conduct. Why are we being fined more? It's clear, with documented proof, that the FA have a vendetta against Chelsea FC. Any logical person who takes off whatever coloured specs they have can see this. I'm sure even Spudulike can see this. Chelsea need to refuse to pay and take this to court and cite all the previous examples. It's extortion and outrageous discrimination.

  4. A Leicester draw or loss on the weekend would actually suit us better, as it means Tottenham will be forced to come out and attack. If Leicester end up winning the title at Old Trafford I'd be gutted because I want us to be the ones who ruin Tottenham's season. Ideal team: Courtois Dave -- Terry -- Cahill -- Rahman Matic -- Loftus-Cheek Willian -- Fabregas -- Hazard Costa
  5. ....scores again.
  6. Quite a lot actually. Earlier on the season the odds were still heavily stacked in Chelsea's favour, especially when playing at home. Predicting a loss was easy money.
  7. Everyone called me out as being too negative and pessimistic when saying we were going to lose at home to Bournemouth. Then we went and lost. We are awful. None of the players care. The fact that we have put in performances that rival Villa's this season tell you everything you need to know. We are capable of getting a result if we try, but we won't.
  8. I wouldn't mind paying a club to take him off us. Maybe we can arrange a Torres, and ship him off to AC Milan on loan whilst paying his contract. Just don't let him anywhere near the first team.
  9. You aren't actually providing evidence of anything. Messi does hit a lot of goals, but he's also in another league compared to any other player barring Ronaldo. Not trolling. No-one has given Andy Carroll a second thought because they can't bear to have someone of his 'calibre' at the club. I'm not advocating a huge bid, nor making him first choice. He would be an excellent late impact striker and back up. He won't cost so much and he's vastly experienced in the PL. He's English, he's home grown. His injuries seem to be behind him. He's in good form. Many would have argued against Costa being a part of this club because of his 'calibre' and reputation, yet he came here and tore the league up in his first season. No-one is suggesting Carroll will set the world on fire, but he has the ability to do exceptionally well at Chelsea and I would welcome him here over Traore, Remy, Falcao and Pato any day of the week.
  10. I realise sarcasm is the lowest form of wit which is why you have to resort to it, but at least try and contribute something useful in future. Messi scores penalties, but that wouldn't be a determining factor on whether you should or shouldn't buy him. By the way, how are our penalty takers this season? Useless you say, well Carroll looks even more appealing now...
  11. We'll lose this one for sure. Bournemouth will come out all guns blazing and are still trying to ensure PL survival even though that's highly likely now. We have: - Nothing to play for. - Players who don't care. - Clueless manager. - Injuries. Play an entire youth team except Loftus-Cheek who doesn't care. Bournemouth 3-0 Chelsea. One achievement we can have this season aside from PL survival is trying to keep our goal difference above 0.
  12. We will lose both of them. I hope so. I can't see us picking up a single point before the season is out. The quicker the deadwood is taken out and Guus is gone the better.
  13. Scored again. No justifiable reason why he shouldn't be looked at seriously to buy.
  14. Can't wait for Mikel to be sold. Worse than Ramires.
  15. Every single match of my accumulator has come in today, but I cashed out early annoyingly. I originally bet on a City win, so I'll take a Chelsea win so I don't feel so bad.
  16. Are people still questioning this? He's a proven goal scorer and showed that again against Arsenal. He would be an excellent second or third choice striker.
  17. Hazard can be flaunted for circa £60-70 million. Oscar can be sold for £25m, Mikel 5, Ivanovic 5. That's roughly £100 million for us to spend. Take out a little for the lack of income generated next season and I think that leaves the club a good sized £75 million odd to spend on new arrivals. There's just too much deadwood at the club, and Hazard is one of them. Playing with 10 men is better.
  18. Mikel is genuinely a horrendous player. The only time he seems to get time is when everyone else is playing poorly, and he only seems to look like he's put in a decent performance because his competition for the same spot is playing terribly. I for one can't wait until he leaves the club. Hopefully he'll join Ramires in China for a hefty sum.
  19. There's nothing wrong with the Europa League. There are many saying that having to play Thursday night games will affect our run for a Top 4 position next season. You do realise that the EL winners get a Champions League spot? There are many teams that play in Europe and still manage to achieve top 4. Forgetting that for a moment, winning the Europa League was one of my favourite nights in a long time supporting Chelsea. Winning the League Cup and FA Cup is fantastic too, but winning another European trophy was something else. I can't stand fans who think of it as a lesser competition. Dortmund, Lazio, Manchester United, Liverpool, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, Valencia, Spurs, Fiorentina, Olympiacos, Galatasary, Marseille, Porto, Schalke, Ajax.... These are all huge clubs and I count Chelsea fortunate to be mixing with them.
  20. I don't understand where all the hate comes from for the Europa League. Look at the quality of the teams left in it this year. It's an incredible competition and I would rather play and win it than participate in the League Cup or FA Cup. Strong finish for me. Get as high up the table as possible and see if we can slip into 6th.
  21. Mikel is absolutely stealing a living and has been for the last decade. He doesn't bring anything to the team in the slightest, but Emenalo will keep rolling out the contracts for him. He needs to be sold as fast as possible. So much deadwood at this club.
  22. I was at the game. Oscar was beyond woeful. I pray that he gets sold. Kenedy was another poor player on the pitch today. Full credit to Guus for making the sub at half time, it's just a shame it was for Oscar.
  23. This will potentially be the worst fixture of the entire season. Aston Villa are poorer than Derby all those seasons back and are literally not even bothering to try. Our players have nothing to play for, and Guus has as much drive as a Fiat Panda. This one will be 0-0. Begovic Azpillicueta -- Kid #1 -- Terry -- Rahman Fabregas -- Loftus-Cheek Kenedy -- Willian -- Pedro Costa
