That is what you get when a Yank posts the match thread...btw where did you think us Yanks learned that format from in the first place? You guessed it...you English...All of our bad habits originated from England, like using the word soccer or using The British/Imperial Measuring Unit

Wow, a match on the second of February ....this is why we give Yanks Tony Gale on commentary, because that's what you deserve.

 

Genuinely looking forward to this one because the atmosphere will be brilliant for once. Always is against this lot and at 8pm on a Bank Holiday...f**king messy one. Tuesday is booked off and if we do beat Spurs then I could see some people getting a little punchy at FB.

 

Team selection-wise, probably have to go with what we played against Bournemouth. Need Cahill or JT back and that means Mikel in midfield because Mikel has to play, so I wouldn't be too surprised with Mikel, Matic and Fabregas in there with Willian and Hazard behind Costa.

 

Need to beat this lot and whilst I think Loftus-Cheek deserves a place on form, he won't get it. 

 

Spurs are a good team but I think we can stop them. Alli can cause us real problems in that gap between defence and midfield that we seem to not bother marking, but this is the biggest game left this season and the players are saying all the right things.

 

If it goes right this game could be up there with the big European nights for atmosphere. Not sure that's a great thing in the grand scheme of things but it's all we've got at the moment.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't see us winning this one, and given our home record, we may not even be able to draw the match. Then again, we beat LeArse at the Emirates when they are still with options, so we might put up a decent performance, you never know with this lot this season.

We will win I'm sure of it. We stopped spurs getting champions league football when we won it know we will stop them winning the league. Jt injury time winner. And the sh*t from the lane has won f**k all again .
