Birmingham City v. CHELSEA
I wouldn't have taken Joe off. He's been an outlet all game. Now with Sidwell on, expect us to sit back and invite them on to us. Nail biting last 5 minutes.

f**k Me - Pizarro!!! Get in!!

Birmingham City v. CHELSEA
They're winning just about every 50/50 ball and are playing at a much higher tempo than us. Where is our urgency and where is Ballack for that matter? COME ON CHELSEA, FFS!!!

Birmingham City v. CHELSEA
WHAT a let off there. Don't know how that stayed out? They look more up for it than we do. Some of our players are coasting.

We need a new winger !
Surprised Sinclair wasn't on the bench today. Is he injured?

Birmingham City v. CHELSEA
Typical of our season - just as SWP is starting to show a bit of good form again, he's crocked Missed the first 20 minutes, but we went from looking fairly comfortable to hanging on. Little on the bench to now improve things either. Lets hope we again step up a gear second half.

Birmingham City v. CHELSEA
Ricci not having one of his best games either from what I've seen in the last 10 minutes - a couple of trademark lunges that didn't come off.

Another near nightmare moment for Cech

Keegan wants SWP
Hope that's tongue in cheek Gem. Or your heart ruling your head? As much as we might have rated Duffer once upon a time he's a shadow of the player he once was. As for SWP going to Newcastle you have to laugh. He has improved a lot for us and I really hope now that we'll see him be consistently good, but I would think he's the last type of player Newcastle need in their current situation

Best Chelsea XI (Injury Free Squad)
That pretty much what I'd go for too - although tough call on Essien / Lamps.

Diarra to Newcastle
That's a great signing for Pompey. Shrewd old 'arry!!! Having said that, he won't have got off to the best of starts with the Pompey Failthful. Already admitting that Pompey are a "stepping stone" in his career and he doesn't plan to be their too long. Will he never learn

Keegan back at Newcastle
I hope he does really well there. Not sure he will as the game has moved on since his (sort of) successful days, but I like Keegan. A good, genuine & passionate bloke and in the past he has always been pretty complimentary about Chelsea.

Most Disapointing Chelsea Player This Season So Far?
Barn beat me to it on Sheva. I can't be disappointed with him as I don't expect him to come good, so when he does score, it's kinda like a bonus. Many(most) have failed to hit the heights. To be honest, I'd have to say I was even disappointed with Joe as Grant is playing him week in week out and I thought we would see more from him. But Malouda has been the most disappointing for me. We have seen little of him (despite him not being badly injured??) and when we have seen him, he has often looked well off the pace.

Robben's career at Real to be short lived?
They say never go back. To take Robben back with his track record would be sheer madness.

If you had to choose CFC player of the season now...........
Norfolk air is just fine - although it was f**king windy last night - thought we were gonna loose a few tiles but thankfully didn't. I'm not saying Sinclair is anywhere near being a contended for CFC player of the season. I was just saying he hasn't disappointed as his chances have been few and far between, but when he has been given a chance he looks decent enough and hasn't been crap. I know you are not a big Joe fan and probably not SWP either? But of late, with many big names missing, these two are starting to cause the opposition a lot of problems. They are linking up well and both chipping in with goals and assists. I can't agree that Lamps and JT have contributed more as both have been missing for a while now and most agree that even before then, they were nowhere near their best. Essien, Drogba and Kalou will all obviously be effected by pissing off to the ANC, but again -perhaps Drogba aside, they haven't been playing at their best. I know Kalou has scored a few (but missed a lot, lot more) and the stats will show he has assists, but I can only go by what I see with my own eyes and for me, at the moment anyway, he isn't great. If I had to pick one player right now, I would go for Beletti. Like his attitude and enthusiasm and he bombs down that right touchline like a 20 year old. He had one nightmare game and didn't do great for the Cahill Everton goal, but other than that the bloke has been a pleasant surprise. It's kinda ironic that the defence as a unit hasn't been great this season and yet my four best players to date are all defenders. No doubt then that the midfielders and strikers need to step up a few gears (and yes I include Joe in that )

If you had to choose CFC player of the season now...........
It's a pretty difficult one and possibly reflects how most of our players have done okay here and there without any of them excelling. I cannot think of one player who has been truly consistently good. I guess it will be refreshing that it if things continue in the current vain, player of the season won't go to one of the usual suspects this time around - JT / Lamps / Drogba. Even Cech and Essien will probably be out of the frame what with loss of form and missed games. Perhaps Anelka could have a good shout if he settles in quickly and provides what we have been lacking up to now? Here's what I reckon currently: Contender: Carvalho Bridge Beletti Alex Signs are good but still need more from them: SWP Joey Ballack Ashley Obi Mikel Sinclair Non contender due to injury and/or lack of form: JT Lamps Drogba Cech Carlo Hilario Maka Essien Ben Hiam Kalou Paulo Malouda Good luck at your next club: Sheva Pizarro Sidwell

Greatest Chelsea Game You've Ever Seen (Live or on TV)
Here Here!! That was one hell of a great night. Bridgey & Eidur - heroes forever and Claudio's jumping up and down. Still makes the way he completely f**ked up the semi final hurt all the more As others have said - some great games over the years. I forgot just how great a game that Barca 4-2 match was. Always the way - when you're watching it at the time you are normally so knotted up and tense that you don't enjoy it but that was Jose's greatest match. Again, such a shame that we had to grind out so many 1-0's under JM when you see a game like that. For nostalga sake though the 4-4 Sheff Weds match is still my favourite. Dixon, Wee Pat, Micky Thomas in that yellow kit (that I grew to like after first hating it). And Canoville of course. "Canoville - Chelsea have done it!!!" And then good old Doug with that "What did I do?" expression on his face having just given away a blatant late penalty What a classic.

stand up for grant
I'd agree to a certain extent Liam but not totally. Look at Liverpool at the moment. Have spent loads but are nowhere nearer being a premiership winning team - certainly not under Rafa And Newcastle. Have spent a fair bit over the seasons and could spend loads more, but without the right coach they'll still win f**k all. And Wenger has also proved you don't have to pay top price to win things.

stand up for grant
It's a tricky one because deep down, I still don't think he has quite what it takes to take us to the very top. But up to now, he has done pretty well and deserves a lot of credit. The last two games in particular have been really good performances, bearing in mind the number of players he does not have available and I like the way he just gets on with it. If that was Mourinho, we would not have heard the last of the players that were missing and the sending off's going against us etc etc...............

Top 5 Players You Wish We Hadn't Signed (2000-2008)
Its not a joke, he was a great player for us. But i honestly wish now we hadnt gone near him, he caused the club more trouble than any player i can remember, we swapped him for Cole, enough reason itself to wish we hadnt bought him. He enjoyed beating us the other month, he hates our club with a passion, i mean REAL PASSION, dont be suprised when he ends up on lists like these on a Chelsea fansite forum. I know this is going over old ground, but the only reason Gallas caused a fuss is because we didn't treat him well. He LOVED Chelsea and he NEVER let us down. Look at the pictures of Gallas when we've won - especailly that photo of him after scoring that brilliant winner against Spurs. He loved us and should have finished his career with us and probably would have if he was treated better. You look after your best players. We didn't and paid the price.

Which Striker Do You Want?
I like the idea of Berbatov, not just because he has a much better all round game than Anelka, but because he will be better long long term. He's been at Spurs - what, just over a season, so I love the idea of picking up a player who hasn't already become too established at another club - like Henry was at Arsenal and Sheva at Milan. If we got Berbatov now, in a few seasons everyone will think of Berbatov the Chelsea Player. Whereas with Anelka, he would be useful to have short term but he's been around the block more times than an old Ford Cortina - bit of a journeyman.

Diarra to Newcastle
So how the f**k does his value increase by some £3.5m whilst he's been kicking about in the Gooners reserves for the past few months? Once again we are complete mugs.
