There's talk of us activating the £40m "double your money" buy back clause in Ake's contract. Seeing how he's graduated into a decent center half and £40m is pretty cheap for a CB who knows the Prem and the club it might be a decent move. Depends if he's okay with being sold and coming back, I guess.

I think this would be an interesting move and personally I live a striker who's a bit of a sh*thouser, gets in people's faces and scares them. Tammy is elegant so a Costa-style WUM is an ideal second option.

I'd find this highly disappointing. We need someone to share the load with Tammy and a CB who is at his prime to help the younger guys have some stability. Other than that...? Maybe a left back if we are going to sell Alonso and\or Palmeri.
