Totally risk free on our part, he was very highly regarded but stalled so if he can get his head straight we may have a very good player on our hands. I think we'll probably see him in the reserves for a while.

Folks.......it's Lampard signing a new contract, no doubt with an interview and everything. It's been very over done and it will be a big anti climax for everyone who got their hopes up about a new player.

I think we'll eventually get Robinho. As for whether we'll sign another player that of course depends on injuries, if they become available etc. Nonetheless we're back in a time zone where it's more easier to negotiate and a two week gap before the season starts, if we're going to hear anything it'll be fairly soon. Hopefully.

Should Robinho arrive (or any other winger for that matter) that will be the end of SWP I think. But, while there's still no progress on that front there's no point burning bridges. Hope 'Arry doesn't spend that £12 mill just yet!
