Perhaps on this site, but the Ivanovic transfer had been reported in the English, Serbian and Russian press for many weeks before that as well as a few Italian clubs conceding he would be coming to us. A big thanks has to go to the poster who translated it on a few different boards. Anyway it seems all too common knowledge these days regarding transfers which makes these "insider scoops" all the more impressive if they turn out to be true. I remain skeptical and intrigued by the supposed bid for a Barcelona player.

Why is it more likely?

Only two possible ones imo. Dos Santos or Ronaldinho. The latter seems more likely to me.

Indeed. 5 days now is a long time considering a fee was agreed! If you weren't new to this forum you'd know that Stars record on these matters is superb. Anelka will sign, it might not be in time for tomorrow, but he will sign. But that wasn't my point. If it was already agreed, then he'd have signed by now.
