Alvaro Morata
But he's still young Scott, fair enough if he was 27 you could say right now he's never going to get there. But compare him now to Drogba at his age, he could still mature and develop. He's definitely got good ability there, he just needs to learn how to lead.

It gets frustrating when you can't offer constructive arguments and make bogus claims, an opinion is an opinion but at least tell me how Arsenal are the same as Chelsea. I'll even admit Chelsea are poor right now, the Barcelona game doesn't fool me at all, we haven't been good this year and I doubt we'll get top 4 but Arsenal are quite a few levels behind us. Any of their fans would swap the Chelsea team for theirs in a heartbeat, but now I've just made an argument about their fans you'll probably just invalidate that with another ArsenalFanTV comment.

You must have missed his world-class performances for Bournemouth last season then

Yep I've literally just said you're using football math while avoiding the fact that we are still 8 points ahead of them, basically whatever is convenient enough for you to believe you'll go with it.

Okay so since you're using football math to back up your point, why is it we are 8 points ahead of them despite being pretty much the same? You can't just cancel out someone's point while making ridiculous points.

No, it was because world-class Wilshere was playing who's better than all of our players.

Stop being silly, how many Arsenal players would get into our team? 3 at most and that's being kind.

Crazy... Welbeck has to be the most frustrating player you can watch, all he does is fall over.

f**king hell, PED Guardiola getting called "something special", he only spent half a billion in 2 seasons.

Yes but Conte wants more of a balance rather than just a fluid attack, he's more pragmatic than Pep but less so than Jose, but he wants more efficiency in the attack with better players.

For people who overlook distribution and ball playing defenders, look how Ederson has contributed to the City goals. We have massively missed that from David Luiz this season.

We showed them so much respect in every game, let them pass it around and didn't even pressure their defenders, they crumble over any bit of pressure. The Arsenal games really exposed the flaws in Conte's gameplan, his attacking philosophy just isn't there, I really hope he can change that with better players.

Koscielny is supposed to be their best defender and he's just been absolutely embarrassed by Aguero, what a f**king touch that was! But should never let that happen to you, not even our worst defender would let something like that happen. Really make you grateful how good our defenders are.

Mustafi is the most average defender I've ever seen, Arsenal love signing sh*te centrebacks.

I still can't believe we had 4 games against this Arsenal team and didn't win once, they're AWFUL

Oh I thought you meant your own team sheet, not the England one, anyway, we've derailed this thread more than enough.

I wouldn't mind sharing that bag with you sometime fella

What?? Wilshere would be the first player on your team sheet come June? Am I seeing this correctly?

But having said that Arsene Wenger has failed at developing players over the last several years, Iwobi was hyped now the Arsenal fans can't stand him whenever he plays, Coq another bottle job, Chambers looks crap, Wilshere looks okay lately but he's still never developed into the player he could have been. I think his time of developing superstars like RVP, Fabregas & Nasri has gone, but with those 3 you got 10 more players like Denilson that he stuck out on his teamsheet constantly and they never delivered. I strongly believe we have the best youth in the country, we need to be careful but we definitely need to take the chance and play them more often.

Gary who I do really like as a pundit has always had a boner for Mourinho, anything Mourinho does he loves, so it's no doubt the same for United. Under LVG Neville would absolutely drill United for not keeping up with expectations, however, Mourinho constantly gets a free pass despite hardly improving the United side. I think Matic gets more credit than he deserves when I listen to pundits talk about United and United fans themselves. And that's not me being bitter I have no issue with admitting an ex player is better elsewhere, I highly rated Salah here & at Roma, I highly rated De Bruyne before he arrived and much more after he left. I just think when it comes to Arsenal, United, Liverpool & Spurs you get those pundits that will praise and defend them no matter what. United and Liverpool are the worst for it, but that's because they've been such famous clubs for years and most of the notable older pundits played for either of those two sides, and sports journalists were following either of those two sides.

I'm not understanding the Matic hype, win or lose nothing about his performances at United scream to me "WHY DIDN'T WE KEEP HIM" He needed selling, he just needed replacing and upgrading also. I don't cry at night because we sold Ivanovic and haven't upgraded on the right flank, (although I do like Moses) but the point still stands, Ivanovic had to go, Matic had to go. I can bet if another manager comes in they won't have plans for Matic, only Mourinho has plans for him because he is a Mourinho type of player, but I don't see any shades of Matic from his 2013-2014-2015 years, they seem to be long behind him. Its people like the Neville brothers that genuinely have people believing Matic is the second coming and he's exactly what United needed, not to mention they're nearly 20 points behind their rivals and haven't won the league in 5 years despite spending over half a billion during that tenure.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
What game was it where he last came on? I think we were losing, probably either Bournemouth game or Watford game but he came on and he looked head & shoulders above everyone else. Plays with such confidence for a 17 year old, wasn't too cautious, liked to try out new things. Good for him I really like this player, I hope we get to see more of him before the season finishes.

Marcos Alonso
He's been consistent, and I was worried he wouldn't be. Just look through the early pages of this thread and it's even worse, not sure if it's because of his personal history and the driving incident or what but fans just don't seem to rate him. Even Carragher said he's been a massive surprise and put him up there as one of the best wingbacks in the league.

Hazard-Messi-Suarez would have been better than Neymar-Messi-Suarez, they were too attacking orientated, trying to outscore each other, disrupting the tika-taka style of play. Whereas Hazard would have been a brilliant support player for Suarez.

It's surprised me how Barcelona have never seemed to be interested in Hazard, he would suit them far more than Real Madrid.
