Man Utd Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun Feb 25th 2018 14:05 UK
Never offside and people defending the linesman must be doing lines themselves. You can literally see the only thing that's offside is his arm, which doesn't count, shameful to even make a call like that. We really need to start making more noise against these decisions, Jose did just that for us, Conte needs to do the same, we got absolutely robbed today.

Embarrassing, truly embarrassing. That home 0-0 game against them was what done me in, we've bullied Arsenal for years and now we can't do anything against them when they were at their weakest.

I highly doubt that, most teams would have taken Ozil on a free

It baffles me that Ozil signed a contract extension.

Losing 3-0 in a final is just woeful, fair enough if it's a David V Goliath battle but Arsenal are considered a top side and have gotten ridiculous hype since they've signed Aubamayang.

He's no oracle? He's a football manager who's paid over 100k a week. And taking Hazard off has benefited us in what way exactly? A lot of pundits have even said it's bizarre why he keeps taking Hazard off because it doesn't serve any good purpose. This is the same Eden Hazard who used to play 180 minutes a week for Jose no problem at all, the same Eden Hazard that would put in 9/10 performances on the usual while having to defend. Now when he doesn't have the best of games he gets subbed off, it's ridiculous. Hazard is a game changer without him we struggle, to take him off is never a good bet and I really think it made a difference today without him, you don't want to be chasing a game with Hazard not on the team.

Hazard isn’t Ivanovic, he can influence the game at any moment it’s a fact. Taking him off all the time is not benefiting us in the slightest, are his performances improving because of it? No. He was much better 2 years ago and he had defensive responsibilities.

Even so if it were on the other foot United wouldn’t shut up about it. Especially Mourinho, and we wonder why referees don’t feel pressured to make silly calls against us like they do everyone else.

And I’ve seen plenty of times where Hazard is quiet but still creates something out of nothing. He makes things happen. Subbing him off for Pedro is not a keen gamble, who here thought that was a good idea when it happened? I bet it’s not a 50/50

Exactly! Taking your best player off who can influence the game at any moment will not help anything when you’re replacing that player with Pedro. Hazard gets subbed off far too much for my liking.

Conte’s subs are genuinely worse than Rafas, stop taking hazard off for f**k sake.

No reason to play Cahill at all, go with the back 3 against Barcelona.
-
Andreas Christensen
That's completely inaccurate. When does Christensen play diagonal balls like Luiz? Have people forgotten David Luiz of last season? He's like a playmaker at the back and he's always comfortable in possession, if you really think Christensen is better at passing than Luiz I don't even know what to say, it's pretty obvious he isn't. Christensen plays simple passes for a reason, Luiz would find Hazard, Moses, Pedro & Willian about 5-6 times a game with one pass from the back. And what on earth is a hollywood ball? Are you serious? Luiz more often than not would accurately find his teammate with a pass.
-
Andreas Christensen
That's nothing, he plays simple passes, whenever he passes forward he gives the ball away. That's not a big problem, but it does expose him in games like Barcelona where we have to play it out from the back at all costs. Even a casual fan could see Christensen is not the best passer of the ball he's like Zouma in that department but everything else about him is perfect. I have no complaints whatsoever with Christensen or his mistake, it was a bad pass, thank you for being solid as a rock other than that and disposing Messi at a crucial time near the box.

Tiémoué Bakayoko
By what spectrum? I'm sure Steve Sidwell has had a great game in his lifetime and if he played like that all his life he could have had a great career here. I haven't been sold on Bakayoko except for his Arsenal performance and he only came on for 20 minutes. Spurs we were absolutely overrun and United he was incredibly sloppy had it not been for the Morata goal he would have been scapegoated. He hasn't been good enough and the fact that he's finally been dropped we might actually have a chance of salvaging a decent season. Fans have a right to jump on him with criticism when he's put in awful performances.

Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea
1. Conte is not at fault for the Costa situation, I actually don't think he did anything remotely wrong in the whole ordeal. 2. I think it's definitely fair to say executives with a lot of cash and decisions can definitely make biased decisions on an emotional whim. But I don't see why on earth that's even a valid point, with all the evidence you really arrive to that conclusion? It's pretty clear Costa didn't want to be here before Conte even arrived, to arrive at a conclusion that it was definitely some personal beef between Conte and Costa is quite bizarre really.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
I'm not even joking I would physically cry if this man left the club. I'm a grown man and I would cry if he left. We must do everything in our power to keep him satisfied. Do that and this club is bound to have more success in the future, it's written in the stars. The thing is he isn't even a luxury player either, he's essential to the attack. You get players like Ozil & Pogba who you can't build a team around because they're both limited players but can be effective, Hazard, however, is something else. Don't ever forget how good he was in Mourinho's 2nd season, he practically won us the league title on his own.

https://fusion.tv/story/111366/but-i-am-sol-campbell/ A lot of weird stories about Sol, there was a running meme around about "But I am Sol Campbell" quote, his response when he never landed a Premier League job in management. He should take notes from 99% of former Premier League players who never landed a Premier League management job right away. I mean what's Steven Gerrard doing? He's coaching the under 18's Liverpool side, I doubt he could just walk into any management job, he would probably have to start in League 1, Championship if he was very lucky.

Thibaut Courtois
I don't highly rate Courtois quite honestly, if Madrid are willing to pay that much for him sell him.

I was actually quite happy with the lineup besides Fabregas playing CM but I expected it, he has no plans for Drinkwater. I was also a bit worried with the false 9 but I understood why Conte picked it. People always criticise Conte's lineup really, go through the early pages on every thread.

Sol Campbell says he is one of the greatest minds in football after being overlooked by Oxford http://www.skysports.com/football/news/18939/11261676/sol-campbell-says-he-is-one-of-the-greatest-minds-in-football-after-being-overlooked-by-oxford He really is a complete bell end isn't he, I'm surprised he hasn't blamed it on racism yet.

Man Utd Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun Feb 25th 2018 14:05 UK
If Herrera is out our luck might just be turning, that's massive for us, one of their only midfielders who can actually control the game. They lost the midfield battle at Stamford Bridge and that killed the game from them, hopefully, we can do that again.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
Cahill is vastly overrated because he's English, he's nowhere near a top 6 defender never was his limited ability has always been masked by defender's around him when you started life at Chelsea with a backline that includes Terry Azpi and Ivan you have three of the best that ever played in the league covering you Sorry but that's bollox Cahill was our best centre back in 2013-2015, he was the one covering Terry not the other way around. Terry was the organisation of the defence and solid as a rock but Cahill would always get the last ditch tackles in and track the runners. He was absolutely immense in Mourinho's first season, and very good in the title-winning season.
