Chelsea V Barcelona (CL) Tues 20th Feb 19:45 UK
It's actually nice to see Conte more interactive, even if he's just angry, he's been so miserable lately.

Rakitic has to be very careful now, that's good for us. One deliberate tactical foul (instant yellow) and two big physical fouls, he should be on a last warning now... Surely.

Watch the referee fall for it though like they do all the time.

Barcelona diving again... What a shock

Cesc Fabregas in that midfield is asking for trouble. That's my only issue with the lineup, although false 9 hasn't worked much for us has it, big gamble.

Yes but back then under Di Matteo we were really really good, had characters, all the old guard came back to win the Champions League. Right now it's very different.

The one who baffles me most is Steve McClaren, why on earth would you even hire him? He gets sacked everywhere he goes. He must have one of the worst CV's as a football manager, yeah sure he's managed some good names but he's also been sacked everywhere he's gone.

Having a soft spot for a rival team? Don't mind me but I think that's very odd. United got their revenge the year after and won it by quite a distance with worse players.

My sentiments exactly Davey. The West Brom win doesn't convince me one bit, we beat Brighton as well not too long ago. We are still in a very bad stint and right now we are vulnerable, Barcelona is just a nightmare to play against right now.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
100000% Jack! Hazard wants to play at top level, he wants to have a chance of winning the Champions League. He didn't say I choose Chelsea on twitter, he said I choose the Champions of Europe. He was a Real Madrid fan as a child and he's always shared the ambition for playing for them at Lille. What could make Hazard stay here would be good players around him that match his ambition. He must get frustrated when he's the one doing all the work in attack and the rest around him just aren't good enough. I've said it before we aren't signing enough superstars to stay relevant, Arsenal even signed Aubamayang. We laugh at United spending 80 odd million on a player but they make that back instantly and they more often than not get a good player out of it. Our penny-pinching ways aren't helping the situation, and don't give me that "We can't afford to spend big" we spent 200 million this season! Why didn't we go for James Rodriguez when he was wanting to leave Madrid? Why didn't we try to sign Bernado Silva when only City were in for him? We could have got a deal clinched up right away like City & Bayern did instead of chasing around for squad players and spending 80 million on two midfielders who have no future here. Our last 3 transfer windows have been awful and surely Hazard can see that.

Willian
He's a fantastic squad player, and any team in the Premier League would take him because he's a useful versatile attacking player who has a lot of impact. But he's not someone you can rely on, if you had to rely on Willian for 38 games he would probably score about 2 goals and assist 4 by the end of it. If you play Willian in less than 30 Premier League games with him coming on after half-time and competing with another player for minutes he will probably end the season with 9 goals and 8 assists. He's that sort of player, he's arguably been our best attacker bar Hazard for the past 3 years, the season we won the league under Mourinho was his worst season for me. And that was the season where he played pretty much every game. He was a workhorse but brutal going forward, couldn't do anything but pass the ball sideways or lose it.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/02/16/man-citys-soft-35000-anti-doping-fine-spark-fa-disciplinary/ I f**king hate Manchester City and they're even more detestable with dodgy Pep.

They're utter w**kers, Fernandinho should've been banned for a lot longer he was hitting Cesc for no reason. Aguero is also a c**t, I'll never forget his disgusting tackle on Luiz in the semi-final, he still didn't get suspended for that or a red card... But then again Chris Foy was the referee what do you expect.

All the City defenders are garbage, they buy some amazing players but all the defenders they buy are mediocre. Even Kompany was VERY overrated I thought, he was always hyped up by Sky, how he got in the team of the year over Gary Cahill in 2014-2015 was beyond me, completely undeserved. I really wanted Stones but I'm glad we never signed him now, just English hype, bad defender just like Otamendi and the rest.

Well one thing for sure, if Hazard really wants to go to Madrid these are two massive games for him to show off his abilities.

Don't forget the time the referee disallowed the Phil Jones own goal because Morata was being "Too physical" that time. Yeah, the time when Phil Jones tripped over his own feet because he's a defender with the IQ of a Panda. Morata can't touch players but players are allowed to touch him.

Did you not see the headlines from BBC & Sky about it? They tried to paint Tottenham the victim, here are both the headlines. Yeah, it wasn't a case of Tottenham being given any leniency while injuring our players and potentially ending their careers. It was just Mark Clattenberg letting Tottenham self-destruct, how evil of him for doing that to Tottenham, I can truly see how Tottenham were the victims from his refereeing despite 0 red cards. (Notice how it says he booked 9 Tottenham players but doesn't say that he didn't send one off) I'm not being a conspiracy theorist, but just look at the ridiculous bias from the two largest UK news outlets.

Any game recommendation?
That's exactly it, it just kills the immersion, I love fantasy lore aswell but I don't like it when it goes into the realms of Pokemon or final fantasy style. And Kingdom Come Deliverance is excellent so far.

Any game recommendation?
I've heard really good reviews but I just can't play stuff like that, I'm well into open worlds and RPG's but East Asian game developers always introduce manga into their games and it really puts me off. I hate when you see a sword that's bigger than the actual person and they're doing 360 spins with it.

Charly Musonda jr.
Indeed but on the other hand it's that type of confidence that gets youngsters places, he can still mature. Plenty of great players who acted like morons in their younger days, they just didn't have social media to publicly display it. He seems like a guy who believes in himself, cocky, arrogant whatever you want to call it, it gets you performing up to standard, it makes you stand out. I could be wrong of course, he might just be a tit, but regardless he has talent.

Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea
Ineffective? Torres is what you call ineffective, Batsuayi has scored plenty of winners for us including the win for the Premier League last season. His goal record speaks for itself.
-
*Official* Pedro to Chelsea
One thing I've noticed about Pedro, and it was even the same last season, his final ball. His final ball is bad, he always gets himself in a good position and he doesn't make the correct pass, he did that at least 3 times last night on a good counter-attack.
-
Cesc Fabregas
Certainly not, he has his uses, much more than Bakayoko & Cahill who are liabilities.
-
Cesc Fabregas
It just goes to show what we need in the summer, we need a central midfielder who can pass the ball forward and who doesn't come with huge defensive limitations. It's clear Conte was after a box to box player in that position but he hasn't found the right one for the job.
