The Martin Kelly own goal he should've shot then when Alonso put the ball in across, he should've shot instead of passing to Giroud. Always has been Hazards problem, his composure and decision making in front of goal is piss poor, he'll shoot when not to shoot and pass when not to pass.

It's dangerous taking a gamble on somebody like that, especially who hasn't won anything. It's hard to get the respect of the players. I remember when many people wanted Marco Bielsa around the time we got AVB and Marco Bielsa eventually faded into mediocrity after his Athletic side didn't go anywhere, you could even say AVB is a similar gamble to Sarri.

Its weird because usually you would expect newbies to jump on the bandwagon when things are going swimmingly, but on this forum they only seem to arrive whenever we lose games.

As stupid as it sounded I thought we would benefit from a manager not having instant success, Mourinho was similar and then he won the league, I did not expect it to go so backward until I saw the transfers before the season started. Something is going deeply wrong here and sadly us fans are in the dark about it, I really don't know who to blame because I don't think Conte is as innocent as so many people like to believe. Although it is quite odd that we've consistently had terrible title retaining seasons.

Somebody was saying we were on the same level as Arsenal in terms of quality or not far off anyway, I thought that was bollocks, but a defeat really brings out the worst of supporters. I've lost a lot of faith in this team at the moment, but not the quality, we just need some more inspiration into the side but sadly I can't see that coming from Conte.

Why is it when we lose we get so many new members joining? It baffles me.

I don't think I've ever seen a point in a season where 4 of our ex-players have scored against us from different teams, utterly ridiculous.

That doesn't mean much, I was on rival forums after that match and from ArsenalMania to RAWK they were saying Bakayoko is sh*te. Obviously, we are more bias and at the time we had high hopes for Bakayoko so we were loving the idea of Bakayoko dominating Matic, in reality, it's quite different.

But with Jose we were defensive and very pragmatic, under Conte Hazard has 0 defensive duties and we still can't utilise him correctly, we can't get the ball to him. Hazard had the ball in the oppositions half a lot more under Mourinho than he ever has under Conte.

His defensive side of that game was average, that game we were very very good, Mikhi was anonymous and Kante was breaking up play consistently. Jose set up too defensively and their midfield was overrun, Matic & Herrera were awful. Fabregas and Kante were superb and Bakayoko had a lot of freedom to go forward, don't get me wrong he did whiz past Matic a few times but he didn't have him in his pocket. I did like his bursting runs forward but that game he reminded me of Ramires, Ramires could burst forward then he would do a sh*tty pass at the end or badly miss the goal.

I'm not sure why people keep bringing up the United game. I was impressed with his dribbling, but he didn't have a better game than Kante or Fabregas, and he kept constantly losing the ball in good areas and killing off good chances. And this isn't me just being negative Bakayoko, I can recall two Bakayoko games where he was good but the United match definitely wasn't one of them.

Oh absolutely, but one bad season doesn't dismiss a good season, just like vice versa. If Mourinho can get the best out of Hazard's offensive attributes, the most negative manager in the world then what on earth does that say about Conte this season?

Nonsense, Kante was running the show. Bakayoko had a few good dribbles past players then gave the ball away every time in the final 3rd. I've said it before, if we didn't win that game Bakayoko would have been scapegoated for his sloppiness.

Pedro wasn't anywhere near as bad as Bakayoko was, although Pedro did seem physically unable to compete in this league.

He was actually good at PSG despite playing in a sh*t league.
