Don't mind Kudus at all. Rather take Kudus than Olise. He is more versatile and and combative than Olise. After the spineless sh*tshow the club served thruout last season, a combative midfielder would be a welcome presence

No matter how good a player is, once he lacks the right attitude, I don't want him near my team. Prima Donnas are not needed in this young squad. I personally still prefer Kudus anyways

What about a 50m bid for Cancelo. He is not a item with Pep any longer and knowing the way Pep treats those who falls out with him, we might have a decent chance of nabbing either him outrightly or Kalvin Phillips on loan

This feels me with good feelings. He is the type of player we need as an attacking midfield/RW. Fast, strong and most importantly with a bullish attitude that we sorely needed last season. Hopefully we get him and more to it use it to rile Brighton up while telling them to shove with Caicedo for 100m

He is a very skilful player without doubt. My concern is that the EPL is very hard and would mark him much tighter. His penchant for dribbling (while good to the eyes) would mean more chances of turn overs and open us up to counter attacks. We would need a disciplined pivot to help maintain your defensive structure when he plays

Even Kessie is not a bad option as a pure DM. He is strong and skilfull on the ball although not quite young. Whether he would leave Barca is another matter entirely

Locatelli is over rated. Goretzka and Kimmich are very good options we can explore for experience and in the case of Kimmich, his versatility would be a bonus.

I would want to believe that our mgt is not so stupid as to wait till another club comes for him and start a bidding war before buying him . If the issue is about his price?, Then they would also be wise enough to have extensively scouted an alternative that would be capable of doing the job and can walk away from the deal if need be. 100m is unreasonable for Caicedo. If Brighton refuses to bulge, take a walk

If Man City goes for him, he would most likely sign for them. Maybe if we asked nicely they can sell Kalvin Phillips to us cheap. He is not bad as a DM at all

Having said that, I don't think we should get drawn into a bidding war for Caicedo. He is undoubtedly a good player but certainly not the only one in this whole wide world. We need a dedicate DM that allows Enzo to move forward more and I daresay we ve not looked hard enough. For starters, we can ask City for Kavin Phillips either on loan or outright purchase, Zubimendi of Sociedad, Onana or Doucoure at Everton and tons of other serviceable DMs in the French league... Sangare etc.

If we can convince Brighton to sell Caicedo to us now but keep him till summer, we would have an awesome midfield to start the next season with. I think we should just buy Amadou Haidara from Liepzig. I read Brighton are looking at him as a possible replacement for Caicedo. Just get him from Liepzig and tell both Brighton and Benfica to shove off...
