Joao Felix
I believed that the reason he shunted was because he had the misfortune that in his most important formative year he was at A. Madrid where brawns and exceptional hardwork was valued over creativity and talent. He never could match up to the exacting physical standards demanded by Someone and this lost his way. Same thing happened to Mikel Obi who had all his attacking instinct coached out by a Jose Mourinho who are that time needed a destroyer not a creator. I remembered Arda Turan's interview when he left A.Madrid. He said his body could no longer cope with the physical standards demanded by simeone. I think the resentment btwn Felix and Simeone started from both not enjoying each other's attributes. With the kind of creative players we have now in the team, I don't expect Felix to struggle so much. If he can rediscover his confidence, we might have a 'gem' of a player in out hands

Joao Felix
... We lost predictably to Man City yesterday... But I must say, we played well.. and the movement of the ball, combinations, and slick passing was impressive. My concern was Enzo playing in the number 10 position. To be honest I have not seen what the hype was about him.. he was poor playing as a ten yesterday both in the defensive and offensive part of his play. I believe Felix will be a better option to him as a 10 with Latvia and Caicedo playing in the pivot

Joao Felix
Lollllsss @ Murdyk running at tremendous pace...

Joao Felix
Whatever happens let get Joao... I will love his combination with with the quality of attackers we have now
-
Victor Osimhen
Why rush??? They can complete the deal if they want.. then they will have Oshimen in their hands on wages they can't afford and a disgruntled player to boot. Worse case scenario for us is to sell Lukaku to Aston Villa or on loan till January... Or send him to Turkey to reunite with Jose. It's a game of brinkmanship that I think we are in a better position to win

Joao Felix
Read this morning that we are looking to bring Felix back to the bridge. I totally support this idea and I believe he will thrive more under Enzo. With the way we want to play and the technical qualities we now have in the midfield to complement him, we can make this work this time around. Unfortunately that would mean the end of Carney. His position is already under threat with all the options available. Getting Joao would put an end to his dreams as a Chelsea player. But Joao is a better player than him and this is a decision I can live with however difficult

Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea!
Sterling can .. and is actually better coming from the left to his strong right foot. I for see him been used in that role for often as soon as one of Noni, Palmer or Moreira secures the RW spot
- Emile Smith Rowe.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Also, talking about Diego Simeone in conjunction with attacking football is the same thing as calling a Tony Pulis Stoke United prime Barca

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Well I did not see any evidence of a high octane style in the second half against West Ham. The funny thing about high octane football is that you need players that can progress with the ball fast and at the same see attacking options, passing lanes, and possesses the ability to put all this information together and make the right decision either to pass quickly, dribble around an opposition player or run with the ball into dangerous areas to hurt the opposition. Kindly refresh my memory .. how many players we have in the current Chelsea squad that can do this???

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Chuks underwent a surgery on his knee yesterday... Prognosis is Six weeks out but we all know that this is not an open and shut case. Six weeks is not cast in stone as there might be a relapse or re assessment on the injury. Also it's six weeks before he resumed training not six weeks till match fitness thus he might be out for close to 2 months at least or 3 months at most. The question is do we wait until he is back or get someone to alternate play in the role. IMO, we need to get someone else like Felix to do so. @ TB pls make this sensible decision one year loan deal with option to buy is not a bad idea... Six weeks is too long to pin our hopes on Carney

Djordje Petrovic signs for Chelsea
Can he play in the pivot?

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Then get Felix... I don't really care who but get someone.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
He need him or someone like him in that team. As soon as Carney went out yesterday, we sort off fell apart as a team cos the link up between the midfield and attack was gone. We badly need a creator in that team. Someone that can dribble, pull players to him to open up spaces for others to run into, someone with the X factor, that can produce a moment of magic to help the team. As woeful as Joao Felix was goal scoring wise, he made our team last season far better ehever he played because of his ability to link up play, give those little flicks and dribble in tight spaces. Either we get Hazard back on a six months - a one year loan or take Joao Felix. We don't know when Carney and Nkunku would be fit but it's not looking good already. I far that be the time they would be fit, our season might probably be over. EST I forget, please sell Gallagher. The only thing admirable about him is is workrate but with Caicedo and Latvia in the team, we don't need a player of his skillset again. Better to sell him and use his money to bring Hazard on a deal or buy Joao Felix.. I am sure A. Madrid would have come off their high horse about his huge cost since. If can do a deal for 20-30m, and on a reduced salary, it won't be bad.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Won't mind hazard on a six months renewal contract while Nkunku recovers. We can have him play behind the striker in the no 10 role. He might be older and less fit but he is not soo bad that we won't get something out of him. Maybe a 50k deal starting from when he recovers his fitness training under Poch

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
Seconded. I hope Liverpool quickly pay up before Chelsea come again with another foolhardy bid. Thank the lord this saga is over. Caicedo was not worth a dime over 70m. Now, we can either put faith in our youngster like Brighton did in Caicedo or go and buy someone else for far less. I had we ve put in a bid for Verrati who their new coach considers surplus to requirements. That is an excellent DM that would give a solid 2-3 years whilst Ugo or Santos ( whoever we retain amongst them) come of age. Thank God this circus is over

Dusan Vlahovic
My concerns here is why we are supposedly swapping Lukaku plus cash for Vlahovic. Lukaku might be a dud and an ingrate here but he is a more prolific striker than Vlahovic.. also if we are stuck with Lukaku, why not give him a chance in the team al least until January and reassess. There is no bridge to burnt not to be remade and I daresay that if Lukaku joins the team and score 20 goals till January, we all be singing a new song. Having said that, Pochettino might want to try Ian Maatsen in Nkunku's role at least against Liverpool before making a decision on him. I don't know how quickly broja can be ready in case of an Injury to Jackson ( God forbid) but if it happens, it wiuld be the height of foolishness to keep Lukaku out of the squad when he is still been paid obscene amount of money. Now that he has burned his bridges at Inter and there appears to be no one dumb enough to take him, who is to say he won't knuckle down come good for us... As a sort of up yours to Inter and Juve..

Neymar
We would be crazy to consider buying Permacrocked Neymar for anything more than a thousand dollars and onna salary on 5 thousand a week

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
Unfortunately I won't be surprised if this report is true. Since the departure of Roman the idiots that took over have shown a consistent lack of common sense and business acumen required to run a club in the EPL. We should have been very afraid as a fan when one of the first thing they did was to sack the entire club structure without the tiniest inkling of how to run a football club. Buying two players for 200m not only sets a precedent with other clubs but also place enormous pressure on the team and the players to perform. The Press witch-hunt will be massive anytime we lose a game. Not only that, the way we bend over backward all the time for Brighton is not only nauseating but deserves to be investigated. No matter how good Caicedo is, he does not have 3 legs, and he can always be injured. We could have taken another route and gotten another player for far less and build over time. The club won't die or go to relegation if we don't get Caicedo. So what exactly is all this rubbish about?

Michael Olise
Instead of buying a player that just had surgery on his hamstrings, why not buying a very good player in Kudus who would play in several positions and his injury free.. this is a case of been penny wise and pound foolish. i.e. if Crystal Palace are not going to do a Brighton and demand we pay the 60m fee in full.
-
Muhamed Kudus
I will be so pissed if we let Kudus go to Brighton only for us to go for him in the next two years for 200m. He is the type of player we need in the team, versatile, strong and with the heart of a lion. We have done fairly well moving out a lot of dead wood and we still have Lukaku and Ziyech to be moved. But we can still sell Gallagher to Westham and use that money to buy Kudus who can play as an AM or RWF.... Even a false 9 in a pinch and his as hardworking and Gallagher is.
-
Michael Olise
£60 million for Olise. The world has gone mental.
-
ANDRE TRINDADE
Ngolo was a force of nature.. one in a thousand years
-
Muhamed Kudus
Kudus ticks all the boxes for me. He seems built for the EPL and most versatile. He can play on the RW or AM. A position that we sorely need options. Of we can get Cherki too for his creativity and vision, then we can alternate btwn the two of them depending on who we are facing

Welcome Lesley Ugochukwu
The only reason we are payingso much for him now is that he would be one of the two DMs we want in Chelsea first team squad. Maybe a back up to Caicedo if we get him or anyone else. No way we are spending so much on a player we would loan to Strasbourg. Either that or his ceiling is so high that we are prepared to pay a premium on him now than to risk waiting until he has a breakout season and prices beyond our reach
