If Pulisic does refuse the Lyon transfer would this impact a deal for him? Or maybe PSG just move for him.

He looked really slick in the u21s game against Ukraine the other day.  Interesting to see how much they want for him, can’t imagine he’ll be cheap.

Certainly Younnes as Rayan is Algerian born.

We have a good relationship with Lyon apparently. I would not be surprised to see us agree a deal that includes a 1 year loan back to Lyon.

They get the money now, and the player leaves when he would have had 1 year left on his deal and his value plummets. Win win.

Surely we would move him to our team in France?   RC Strasbourg Alsace!!!

I like Rayan Cherki. He would be my first choice. But apparently he is our 3rd choice after Florian Wirtz and Gabriel Viega.  Which is what I have heard, although they all seem like slightly different types of players to me, but they all play in that AM role.  Which is also Cesare Casadei's role and maybe he is ready too?
Andrey Santos can play in that role, and he can play in any role in the midfield, but his preference is more of a CM.

Great young players, full of potential, but should we sign some grown ups just in case? Or at least sign some players who are slightly more experienced. MaCallister would have been perfect for us imho. Moot now. Obviously.

Interesting to know if this good relationship remains given the Strasbourg situation.  Any players they sell to us now could essentially been playing for a league rival rather than being sold outside the league.

Why would Cherki leave Lyon to go play at Strasbourg even for a season? Florentino Perez is a big fan of him, and I won’t be surprised if they go after him next summer when Modric & Kroos leave. This is probably the only summer we would have a chance to get him unopposed, because other teams are stacked in the middle. He isn’t a talent you buy and loan out, or leave sitting on the bench.

Totally agree with Ducavis. That would indeed make zero sense. 

Plus going from Lyon to Strasbourg would also be a massive downgrade. Even for a season. 

Then you better tell Lyon that they can keep him another season rather than loaning out to strasbourg.

I've never understood this weird fascination some Chelsea fans have with buying a young player then immediately sending him on loan, how about we buy them and play them in the team we bough them for.

Not sure there are any real links to him other than the fact he's creative and can play at CAM and RW. With those two Brazilian attacking mids already signed I don't think we'll move on Cherki. 

Seems like a player with tremendous creative qualities but little to no work rate to show up for it. Coachable? Maybe.

Exactly.  I never said loan him back to Lyon either.  I was responding to a previous post.  Where it was suggested we would loan him back to Lyon.
