I stay away from boybands? celebrity chefs? dancing competitions participants? cricketers? failed Giroud looky-likys? Really no clue, and not enough curiosity to ask google If Peter Crouch and Olivier Giroud had a love child……
July 7, 20233 yr Been watching him for the U-21s; for a player who is reliant on dribbling, he's quite slow and lacks the burst of acceleration that really good dribblers have. He is extremely agile, but lacks quickness, which fortunately is actually a fairly trainable physical skill. In saying that, he could be a really, really good player in 5-6 years time if he is given time to develop, in the vein of players like David Silva or Bernardo Silva. That would require ample playing time and trust to develop the creative, playmaking side of his game, as well as the discipline to keep working on the pressing and defensive side. All of that just isn't going to happen at a big club. Best case scenario is as a 19 year old attacker he would be rotated in and out of lineups, but his build and style is likely to make many coaches frustrated with him. IMO, if he doesn't want to stay at Lyon or they want to sell, he is best off moving to a mid-tier club elsewhere where he could be trusted with a no 10 jersey for 2-3 years. This is exactly what David Silva had at Valencia and Bernardo Silva had at Monaco. I don't think he should contemplate a move to a top club until he is 23-24.

July 10, 20233 yr Based on the (admittedly), limited amount I have seen, I wouldn't mind us signing this kid. Technically he looks very gifted and also appears calm and controlled with his final ball.

July 10, 20233 yr he is unpredictable and can change a game on his own, reminds me of hazard, and Hazard was 2 years older when he made the switch to Chelsea

July 11, 20233 yr Rayan Chekri is a very talented playmaker with an asking price of £43 million , which just seems like such a low and reasonable amount of money these days. For a GT. 😱😂

July 12, 20233 yr From what I’ve seen I like him. Seriously skilful and 2 footed, and young enough to adapt to the EPL and improve. If we are in for him I think we’d have to act fast before Champions League clubs start sniffing around him.
