Spurs got the manager we should have signed..
I'm putting it here now.. Postecoglou was a big miss for us. Maybe the recruitment team were scared after Potter but Ange is on a different level to him. All of those who just said "who?" when I had him top my list (after Bagelman said no), now get to see the bloke in action. Watch his first press conference, whenever that is, and you'll see he's a man who knows what he wants from a team, and he'll move mountains to make it happen. Time will tell but my money is on Spurs top 6 at least this season, and better the next..

Chelsea v Nottingham Forest (PL) Sat 13th May 2023 15:00 GMT
I can't understand the starting line ups - there is absolutely no consistency. None of the players must know where they'll be come match day. I honestly expected a degree of stability to return with Frank but its been the opposite. The sooner this season ends the better. I have started to see Leeds being relegated as my main hope for the last 2/3 games. That will be a successful season for me..

Who needs to go and who needs to stay?
Haven't checked this for a while. Quite telling that only 6 players have 90% or more support. Then there's Mounty on just over 80 - the rest don't even get close (Chalobah on 53 next - tho I have no idea why.) Even Gallagher just hits above 40%. Seems like we really have no faith in this squad. MoPo will have a hell of a job turning this sorry bunch into a fighting force.
-
So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
Although I'm far from convinced he's the man, we owe him our full support. So it's all go for MoPo from me!

Who do you want to be the next manager? (2nd Poll)
OK - If it's to be MoPo than so be it. Not my choice, and tbh I hated him and his players attitudes during his spell at Spurs (espec that game at the Bridge where they all completely lost it). BUT if he's the man that Todd gives the armband too than I'll be right behind him. He's just so meh...

Who do you want to be the next manager? (2nd Poll)
Shortly after all of this (June 2021) Celtic signed Ange and look at the change now! Massive turnaround in double quick time, is that not what we are looking for? I know its a risk but Pochettino is such a boring appointment, he's been out of work for some time now, there must be a reason for that. Oh and don't forget "he who dares wins Rodney, he who dares wins.."

He's doing a sterling job in the Norwegian 2nd Division with Egersund..

Who do you want to be the next manager? (2nd Poll)
Haha Whitey, sorry mate had to sleep at some stage.. SPL is average at best, but rarely has a team been so dominant as Celtic under Ange. Can't stand them so thoroughly disappointing, but stats don't lie, and he's doing an amazing job. I love his "I take no bullsh*t" approach too, always says it as he see's it, just like you Whitey! Honestly he's just the kind of manager we need right now... TTFN

Who do you want to be the next manager? (2nd Poll)
Yeah I get that it's a risk but I can only assume people that are dismissing Ange Postecoglou don't know his quality. I live in Australia and am a big fan of his and have no doubt at all that he will be a success in the EPL. He has always achieved results well beyond his station. I'd say we could afford to double his Celtic wage but offer only a two year contract to see how he pans out. If it doesn't work he'll have 4 years worth of Celtic wage and the freedom to work somewhere else. Everyone else just doesn't excite me. Pochettino? Nah, if he was the man we'd have hired him by now, too many reservations. Anyway it's Ange all the way for me.

Who do you want to be the next manager? (2nd Poll)
And he's been a massive success wherever he's been too. If we don't at least interview him we would be missing out on a potential young and brilliant manager.

Who do you want to be the next manager? (2nd Poll)
Where is Ange Postecoglou? Best option now..

Who do you want next as manager?
I'm telling you the best manager we can get is ANGE POSTECOGLOU. He's brilliant, young and been a success wherever he's gone. Check out his stats. Celtic might put up a fight but pretty sure he wants to manage EPL. Now Bagelman is out of the picture, i'd much rather have him than anyone else.

Chelsea v Real Madrid (CL) Tue 18th Apr 2023 20:00 GMT
Been saying it for ages. Havertz doesn't fit the EPL. He's no striker (not clinical enough) - nor is he a #10 (not industrial enough). He's not an attacking/center mid (no pace or passing range) and you can forget about any defensive role. He's simply a Rolls Royce in a Formula 1 race. Not saying he can't play football - he can but it has to be on his own terms - just that he's ill suited to the PL.

My point is they (the AM's) would have more time and space and maybe accuracy as a result of that extra time provided by a proper striker.

Having a "proper" striker though does create space for others, as defenders are drawn towards him.

Chelsea v Real Madrid (CL) Tue 18th Apr 2023 20:00 GMT
What did I take from that? Well it was an odd midfield to select given we needed 3 goals.. We play better with 3 at the back.. Crossing a football accurately is as difficult as quantum physics.. The idea, when shooting for goal, is NOT to hit it straight at the goalie.. We need a f**king STRIKER (if we keep saying it often enough surely someone will listen.) Oh well - time to start planning for a season (or maybe two) without European football. Been there, seen that, got the t-shirt. TTFN.

Chelsea v Brighton (CL) Sat 15th Apr 2023 15:00 GMT
Sorry but have to strongly disagree, can you support this comment with facts or is it just your humble opinion? There is no reason a "big club" shouldn't run itself ragged for 90 minutes. The players might not like it because it asks a lot of them, but they get paid plenty and our current problems all are related to a lack of effort. Watch Felix for Brighton's second, he just watches and gives up, when a bit of running might hava prevented that goal. Hard work is the only way out of the current mess and players need to dig deep.

Who needs to go and who needs to stay?
Oh dear my little Swedish socialist, you really should do a little research before posting. Todd Boehly fits non of your 3 little boxes I'm afraid. Here, i'll save you some time so that you can go burn down some Aristo's summer home. "Todd Boehly made his money in the banking and investment sector. He is the co-founder, chief executive officer, chairman and controlling member of the private investment firm Eldridge Industries. After studying at the London School of Economics, he started to work at Citibank and has become immensely successful in the finance sector." So probably not a scammer but an intelligent man with investment acumen.... Have you voted?

Who needs to go and who needs to stay?
Sorry but 100% disagree in ownership change - unless you want Saudi or Qatari owners (just can't be a part of their regime myself) we have financially strong group that have proven they are not afraid to invest. So far it hasn't clicked but you don't become multi millionaires by being a bit sh*t with money now do you?
-
Who needs to go and who needs to stay?
What is apparent is that so few of us have any faith at all in either keeper. Would be good to think that someone somewhere at CFC is seeing this info. The more votes the better the data is - so if you're here please vote before leaving.
-
Who needs to go and who needs to stay?
I honestly considered it but I'd rather be positive - it works just the same tho. Don't vote for those you'd sell - simples..
-
Who needs to go and who needs to stay?
haha - I am tempted but I think it best kept hidden - we are already at each others throats enough here! 🙂

Chelsea v Brighton (CL) Sat 15th Apr 2023 15:00 GMT
Well... TBH I have to say congrats to Barcabrighton, they were stunningly good against shambolic opposition. We had no plan to handle their possession game other than run around and try and get near them. Worked a treat Frank, nice one. I honestly don't see a solution at the moment, I reckon if Boehly bought Brighton whole, renamed the club to Chelsea, it'd still be a sh*tshow within 6 months. I'm not blaming Boelhy to be clear, he has spent a massive amount of money on the suggestions of others (they are the culprits). They say the ladder doesn't lie, but I disagree, we are far worse than 11th. On the upside i didn't have to eat any ones Granny out.. (see my last post)...

Chelsea v Brighton (CL) Sat 15th Apr 2023 15:00 GMT
f**k me - That was the worst 45 I've seen us play for years at the Bridge. We are being completely dominated, everywhere. They want the ball, pass and move, and work hard to get the ball back when they don't have it. Even usually reliable players like Chillers are being destroyed. Playing Chalobah out of position against this mob is like walking into Bakhmut armed only with a 12" rubber cock. It's a bloody shambles. I'm terrified that this is the real Mudryk, and if Sterling raises a sweat i'll eat your granny out. I mean take your granny out for dinner. Credit BHA they are playing some beautiful stuff, tbh its so good, our lads seemed to have downed tools to watch and applaud them. But f**k me, that was disastrous.

And I'm 100% sure a better keeper would have saved it too - Thibaut for instance...
