April 15, 20233 yr Author It's a real weird feeling being in the last 8 and only 0-2 down to the greatest team with a home leg to play and not wanting to even watch it.

April 16, 20233 yr Well let's hope we avoid being embarrassed, would make a nice change... Kepa Chalobah Silva Fofana James Kante Enzo Cucurella Mount Havertz Mudryk
April 16, 20233 yr hope springs eternal but realistically this is the worst I have seen chelsea. However I only started to renew my interest when Gullit was manager so I'm sure there have been worse teams

April 16, 20233 yr We'll need a Christmas miracle, an Easter Sunday resurrection (again!) miracle, a small earthquake, and perhaps some VAR assistance. It's not too much to ask, right?!? WE'RE DOOMED BROS 😭😭😭
April 16, 20233 yr Hoping for the best but realistically another comprehensive defeat looks likely here.
April 16, 20233 yr Mudryk has to start, sterling on the right. Havertz as dummy striker. Kante Enzo mount in midfield. Cucu, James fof and Silva. They’ll no doubt hammer us

The Chelsea I grew up watching of the late 70s and 80s had the right to be rubbish, cos the players were generally rubbish. It's incomparable when we are comparing Fofana, Koulibaly, Kovacic, to Rougvie, Mclaughlin, Stanley, Hazard (Micky not Eden). This to me is the worst Chelsea team I can remember seeing because it contains some of the best players we've had.

I think that we have dropped off so far that teams like Real Madrid don't need to hurt us. They'll pick us off for a goal in the first half, then start resting players and will Coast to another uncontested 2-0 win, I expect.
April 16, 20233 yr Clear Frank rested a few yesterday so I think we will go all out and try and win this - frankly (no pun) my head tells me if we put up a good fight I will be happy with that. Heart says I am looking forward to the Semi’s
April 16, 20233 yr At least after this we’ll only have 7 more games to suffer through. I reckon Palace are going to overtake us next.
April 16, 20233 yr About 40/1 to win the Champions League now if anyone is feeling like a charitable donation to whoever owns their betting company of choice !

April 16, 20233 yr It might do us good to finally exit this competition and stop fooling ourselves that we'll do something. It will help take the pressure off and end the season with a settled team and focus on domestic issues.

April 17, 20233 yr I’m fine with losing this as I’d rather go out to Real than any English club. And from the first leg, even though Real only played in third gear at most, I don’t think they have a chance against City either.
April 17, 20233 yr Even tho i think we ll put on a good attempt we wont win by numbers required.....this season we have two cup finals....firstly a win at any point....secondly man city beating arsenal to the prem....
April 17, 20233 yr Kepa Fofana Silva Chalobah Reece Enzo Kante Cucurella Sterling Kai Mudryk Havertz dropping deep with two pacey wingers getting in behind. If Sterling had the 1v1 Felix had in the first leg i'd have had more hope.
