Everton vs Chelsea (PL) Saturday 21st March 17:30 GMT
Liam Ro-Seeya - it's time for you to pack your school bag and get the... out of our club. A puppet of the owners and the human embodiment of Alexa in interviews. He has nothing hidden in the closet labelled "Talent". Worst manager in my living memory, easily. If he's still managing at our next PL match then the club is doomed and the owners intentions will be obvious, winning is secondary, making money is all that counts. Yanks... morons.. the lot of them.

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
Or the simple fact he's the most under qualified manager we have appointed in my 50 years following the club. Ridiculous appointment.

Leeds United vs Chelsea (PL) Wednesday 3rd December 20:15 GMT
Enough is enough. The inconsistency is killing our season. For those of us of a certain age tonight meant a lot. Losing to this bunch of bin lickers is never acceptable, and i am also furious, never spent so much time shouting at my TV as I have tonight. We will never challenge while we have these players in our squad Badiashile - looks like a lost bouncer on a football pitch. Tosin - Wasn't he free from Fulham? We were robbed.. Gusto - Must have incriminating photo's of Boehly. Sanchez - Great teams have great keepers - he is bang average and awful with his feet. Controversially, also Trev Chalobah - he is good but not World Class, and thats just not going to ever cut the mustard. Also need to really consider Maresca's position. I have no idea why one week we play exciting attacking football and the next dire possession based sh*te that we simply cannot do with the aforementioned dunces at the back. Reece James has to play unless he's dead. Simply the only bloke that knows how to help his team mates on the pitch. Rant over.

Why was Neto not in tonights squad?
Bit odd taking him and not even having him on the bench though, espec if it all went titsup. Thats why I was concerned, but I hope you're right..

Why was Neto not in tonights squad?
Just did - any news on an answer tho? Still sweet FA anywhere, odd as he has been on fire. Oh and apologies wasn't sure where to post.

Pedro Neto *Official*
Posting same question here - why was Neto not even on the bench for the game last night?? Anyone?

Why was Neto not in tonights squad?
Can't find any info anywhere? And a search in the game thread just had me chasing "OneTommyLangley"s posts every, f****** where..

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 14th February 25 20:00 GMT
On the third goal watch Colwill - he gifts the ball away after a slight contact, falls over, and the ref, rightly, says play on. But his sense of entitlement is so strong, he just saunters back to the box and is our closest player to preventing the finish. If he'd made half an effort, rather than sulking, he'd have easily been in a better position to challenge Minteh. Oh and I forgot a team lacking leaders, starts with Reece James on the bench? Explain that one please Maresca?

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 14th February 25 20:00 GMT
I don't post often, and I like to think I don't knee jerk.. but that was an awful performance. The players do not appear to have any idea about what the manager wants other than "possession is everything". It clearly is not. 70%+ possession but no shots on target is clear evidence EM's philosophy is struggling and he is in deep trouble. We had a good look at Brighton only 7 days ago and learned nothing, on the contrary we went backwards. I don't entirely blame him tho. Our owners need to have a rethink about everything, Everyone fan knows we have needed a proper striker since they took over. They haven't even got close to sorting this out. Not asking for the effing world - but when opportunities to buy are open we buy mid's ffs. Or even worse, teen potential (yeah we just signed a 16 yr old striker from Kazakhstan - I effing kid you not..). We needed to go hard hard on buying Liam Delap - he's young, English, and scared the s*** out of our defence, but we did f all again. I didn't think Yanks could get any dumber after their election, but our owners just continue to make me look like a Chump. They are the worlds mental retards. From being European Champions in 2021 to being a squad and team i'd happily swap with Bournemouth is about as damning as it gets.

Joao Felix
Our best player in pre season (along with Lavia) was Mad'n'wacky (given up trying to spell) - and no place for him at all? Genuine talent that boy - will end up selling off for 20-25m..
-
Joao Felix
To be honest - I'm giving up. We are no longer buying players to improve the squad, just to do business with. If anyone here tells me that a swap for Conor to Felix makes footballing sense, i'll lose it. He was only marginally better than being a complete waste of space first time, I have seen nothing since to change my opinion, and neither have any of the other teams he has been touted to. Oh, and yeah, like we need another Mid/Wing in our squad. These yanks are dismantling our once great club. Know now how my Red Army mates have been feeling for the last 10 or so years. We are heading towards PL mediocrity/oblivion, I have no doubt.

Chelsea v Manchester City, (pre-season), Sat 3rd Aug 24, 2245 GMT
Not hitting the panic button yet... but... if EM wants to play this style of football (play out from back, possession stuff) he obv hasn't watched our previous attempts. We simply do not have the calibre of player to do this. Not one of our CB has the foot skills or speed of thought to play out without a proper fu happening every game - and any of the goalkeepers from last season? Well don't make me laugh. 3-0 now.. ffs

Conor Gallagher
The way I read it is Conor wants to stay, he's CFC thru and thru. The owners want rid as they need the 100% profit for their business situ. So they offer him a contract, which when compared to the 7-8 year contracts handed out to all last season, feels and most likely is, a bit cheap. This is non-negotiable. We are between a rock and a hard place. I honestly do not believe Conor would do anything to damage the club (ie let his contract run out), but he rightfully resents the way this is being handled. He is young, an England International, and honestly one of our best performers last season. If he stays, in all likelihood, he'll outstay the current manager, who has done nothing but make me fearful for the season. The real problem here is the septic's running the club. I was duped by them early doors, but now think they are treating our club like a stock market game. Buying young prospects in the hope that they become valuable assets, rather than proven players that actually bring us trophies. Bloody yanks..
-
So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
The Athletic? It's all opinion and hearsay. Also I prefer Gallagher to either Caicedo or Enzo, most of us do I suspect. Removing Poch was the WRONG decision - the players are allegedly very upset by his removal. If they hated the over-training, primitive tactics and rushed returns, there has been no word of it. Joke piece by the Pathletic.
-
So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
Mckenna or Maresca would be incredibly naive/stupid of the club. They tried the young manager approach before with Potter. Look how that turned out. Tbh I don't understand how our club can be saddled with the payoff debt given our current financial situation. The owners are intent on running the club into the ground and any dissent is removed. Yes men need only apply... Makes me laugh that we got rid of Abramovich due to his links to a dictator and in his place we now have a proper dictatorship.
-
So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
" doesn't necessarily mean Pochettino was a good fit for the club." Agree on most of this but you forget the yanks employed Poch only a season ago, like they did Potter (I'm forgetting Lamps on purpose). Either they have ridiculously high standards and ridiculously low patience, or, they don't have a bloody clue. I err towards the latter.
-
So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
Complete clucking shambles. I've stood behind most of what the septics have done since coming in, but this is obviously and easily the dumbest thing. Poch, finally, had us in a groove. the young players finding their feet and responding to the manager. The owners have such bad fomo that they just knee jerk to anyone who is mentioned as possibly the next great manager/player and forget just what they have already. If we sell Conor (and to a lessor degree Trevor), then we need to make a stand and say no to these clueless idiots. We are literally back at the start of the Potter era tonight. Just when we had something to feel good about, and all the basket case comments had no grounding, they do this. I am flipped, out with the Yanks, they simply do not understand football.

Chelsea vs West Ham United (PL) Sun 5th May 24 14:00GMT
I had an epiphany 40mins in... for the first time this season we actually looked like we were enjoying just playing football. I swear I almost saw Jackson smile at Noni too. Here's hoping the lads are actually starting to play for each other, not their spot in the team.

Manchester City vs Chelsea (FA Cup) Sat 20th April 2024 17:15 GMT
OK it hurts this morning, we played some good football against the best team in Europe but came up short at Wem-ber-ley again. What I take from the game is that the team is progressing, we were a mix of very unlucky and self destructive. Simply put we will never win big games when we don't take our chances, and I'm afraid I have to lay much of the blame today with that man Jackson. Not once did I feel he would score in his two one on ones, he just looks lost in these situations. His final touch, be it a shot or pass, really negates the often good work he does before. Sad really. Jackson needs to go out on loan to the Championship next season and learn how to take his chances against lesser teams. He's killing us right now.

West Ham v Chelsea (PL) Sun 20th Aug 2023 16:30 GMT
As my old lady says "if you have gotten anything nice to say then keep quiet." I will be practicing that today. Tbh first half was rather good. Direct, fast football. With a proper goal poacher we're 3 up at the break. Sterling even put in a good shift after first 10 minutes. Can't help but think the penalty miss was pivotal. We haven't led a (proper) game for a while now, and the way we setup to fast counter would have been ideal. Wasn't to be. I guess a fit James would have taken it. Anyway still early doors and seen some good signs. If we can pay 115 for a DM why on earth didn't we submit for this fella?

Lewis Hall - Our next big Homegrown prospect!
He is number one back up for the injury prone Chillers in my book. Essential we keep him and start him in Cup games. I thought he was on a long contract too- 6yrs? They can have Cuca for free .. Why buy all the best youngsters and then let such a great young prospect leave especially at a ridiculous price - 50-60mill at least to open a conversation.

MOTM vs Liverpool (H) (PL)
I honestly thought Gallagher was great today. Made so many tackles and never stopped working in a role that he's still learning. Will be a travesty if we allow him to go.
-
Nicolas Jackson Song
Not rating him tbh. Would rather keep the funds back and try for Martinez at Inter..

Spurs got the manager we should have signed..
I live in Australia now and have the fortune to follow the man from his early days. He punches well above any expectations, and has done it where ever he has been. True this will be the acid test, but I've seen nothing, ever, to suggest it's beyond him. Tbh honest gutted it's Spurs that have taken him on. I was looking forward to looking out for his results at a PL club, but now, well, you just can't can you? Rottenham ffs..
