Mason Mount
im very happy we're getting rid of him. I just need to prove to the morons I come across that constantly scream "hes proper chels, he gets it, he knows what it means to play for the badge" that they've been made to look like complete and utter fools

Mason Mount
what a c**t, he so badly wants the move. Doesnt give a sh*t about the club, got to the point where he's threatening chelsea now

Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
Nkunku was bought before we had the proper board and recruitment in place, thats why I have my doubts! Everyone we've seemed to go for after that though has been great (the jan signings and who we're targeting currently)

Mason Mount
oh 100%, I was merely just talking about performance wise. As a servant to the club Willian was stellar. Sure he wasnt as good the last couple years here, but if you were to ask me whether id have a prime willian or prime mount? Willian 100 times out of 100

Another Winger! - Noni Madueke
what a player we have on our hands, needs to focus and work on his end product a bit (finishing, final pass etc) and we'll have some gem in our team

my understanding of football and its nuances are greater than yours. you need to stay far away from discussing football and the technicalities behind the sport and just stick to the pies and beers for that gut. some of our fans really are embarrassing these days jesus, this sport has fallen off

Mason Mount
he doesnt love the club as much as some of our idiot fans believed and thats clear to see. Just another footballer who had a good PR team telling him what to do. Clapping after games was apparently all it takes to fool most our fans 😂
-
Mason Mount
He'll have a similar affect to Willian at Arsenal... first game or 2 will look good and everyone will be moaning here and cheering in manchester... then as time goes on people realise he is just not that good
-
Mason Mount
he is a snake and a bigger one than Tibo because he managed to fool most this fanbase with his pathetic claps after constantly dropping 1/10 performances
-
Mason Mount
just because someone agrees with me? 😂😂 your time's up old man, football isnt just about hoofing the ball up and showing passion anymore. Its about technical ability and playing with a brain. your kind of "fan" is slowly fading away and I think you're struggling to come to terms with it

Mason Mount
What a nonsense argument, he almost got both everton and us relegated this season! Hes the worst chelsea manager I think ive seen tactically, and his win record shows it. Im truly stunned! Not proper chels, not a legend and most certainly does NOT get it Marcos Alonso's chelsea career >>> Mount's

Levi Colwill
If city get Gvardiol they wont need him tbf as both are very similar

Fair enough if potter was sacked as at the end of the day, this is a results based business... But if you're plan was to hire lampard as the replacement then I would have honestly just kept potter until the end of the season. Maybe even given him some time the coming season with a proper pre-season and the squad finally sorted by selling all the deadwood. He clearly is a good manager based on what hes done previously, but this chelsea job was always going to be a mess at first and sadly he ended up being the fall guy. More pressure on Pochettino now though I guess, by the looks of things the squad is going to be very much sorted by the time the season starts and he'll have a full pre season as well. Not saying im expecting immediate results with Pochettino as these things do take time, but I don't expect us to spend ANY time at all this season in the bottom half of the table.

Nicolas Jackson - striker
enough to be a starter or are we still looking to sign an actual striker with him being a backup option?
-
Declan Rice to Chelsea?
not the same with this new generation of players, most of them would prefer to stay and live in london, so the london clubs will always have quite a big advantage. Rice has said numerous times he much prefers staying in london as well another example being maddison.. offers from both spurs and newcastle. Literally everything points to newcastle being the much better option to join, but because he wants to be in london so bad spurs are looking more likely for him to join.

Nicolas Jackson - striker
straight to strasbourg or is he actually going to play for us? Never heard of him before we were linked, not sure how good he is

Majority of the posters in here dont understand football or the technicalities of it. They only understand passion shown and kilometers ran so id rather not take their word for it. I watched all the potter games and in a lot of them we dominated, including champions league games against dortmund and in the group stages against AC milan. Potters last few games for us: L Chelsea 0-2 Villa - 2.16-0.92 xG in our favour L Chelsea 2-2 Everton - 2.37-1.27 xG in our favour W Chelsea 3-1 Leicester W Chelsea 2-0 Dortmund W Chelsea 1-0 Leeds So clearly we were doing somewhat okay? Even the games we lost, we actually dominated them and if we could finish we would have won. Those % minutes are a moot stat as all those players joined in january, and it would have taken them some time to adjust first as well before they could really play for the side, by which point Potter was already sacked at the beginning of April. im not abusing lampard, Im just capable of knowing the difference between what he did for us as a player vs his wretched time as a manager. I just dont rate him higher than Terry or Drogba both as a player or a legend of the club. They're the same person biologically, but not in the same capacity. If you've spent years on an online forum only discussing football with people of the same certain demographic then its probably why your opinions and views on football are so out of touch and dated.

defensive midfielders are hard to come by than attacking ones, also rice has 2 years left on contract I believe (1+1 optional) whereas Mount runs out next year. We should be lucky we're likely not gonna lose him for free in a years time

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
Selling Havertz and Mendy to get Caicedo pretty much. Sure he's overpriced, but we desperately need a 6 to partner Enzo and hes a decent player to do that. Good defensively and decent on the ball as well

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
injuries + playing out of position sort of. I think the people in this forum are just angry they're favourite boy that they spent their money on a banner for has ditched them so they're taking out the frustration in other threads!
-
N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
pretty bad compared to other midfield counterparts yes. Obviously not pretty bad if hes being compared to the likes of you or any random forum member🤣

Trevoh Chalobah
For me Ideally it would be Scalvini. Excellent ball playing CB who plays on the right. Think Bastoni/Gvardiol/Colwill but the right footed version. Having Scalvini start alongside Colwill with Fofana, Silva, Badiashille as backup/rotation options is ideal. We dont need more than 5 proper CB's. The main reason for selling chalobah is for the FFP profits anyway. Not sure where you're getting the "at least a 7/10" performances from either.. hes had quite a few dodgy games this season, and a few bad mistakes as well that have led to the opposition scoring. Hes not that young either, hes about to turn 24 next week and these are the sort of ages where he should be playing week in week out and sadly for chelsea thats not gonna happen. Rather see him go to another club and do well there. Nothing against him as a player, just dont think hes good enough for Chelsea as a starter or a backup (assuming badiashille, silva as backups) p.s Fofana I always thought was overrated anyway, especially for that ridiculous pricetag, but because we've already spent so much on him I cant see him getting moved on anytime soon

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
Sarri playing him more forward is when he starting going downhill.. Under Conte he played as the ball winning DM and he was unreal. Not sure why all the managers since have stuck to him being further up the pitch as well because lampard, tuchel and potter all did the same. agree with the freedom part though, he needed to get around the pitch and be everywhere, but in my eyes that was mostly as a defensive minded player and maybe running up the pitch with the ball if he had open space to do that. Just didnt rate him at all in the final 3rd, always thought he was pretty bad there

Mason Mount
I know he wasnt hired to get wins, but people weren't expecting for him to come in and lose almost every game were they? use your head. We were actually making slow progress under potter, we were playing well in most games but just couldnt finish or score leading to us doing bad results wise... Lampard giving these players chances? LMAO he just played his usual favourites and most the players we wanted to see were just rotting on the bench! Just wanted to play the likes of gallagher and havertz every game whilst people like Carney, D Fofana etc were all just on the bench not getting a single minute Lamps is a little nepo baby who will still somehow get another prem job despite how shocking he is as a manager anyway, so that last part is irrelevant. JT and Didier are bigger legends in my eyes as they didnt soil their rep by going to a rival (lamps to man city) and then coming in and doing a dreadful managerial job. Lampard the player is NOT the same as lampard the manager - remember that

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
makes sense, outgoings are the most important right now as we need to get these players off the books before the 30th. Soon as thats done we need to act quickly though, because Arsenal might come back into the picture
