Its true we dont, but based on what we have seen from several places we have actually offered him a massive contract already. its been reported by multiple people that we offered him wages in the 200k region but because reece is on 250k and other players around him on a lot as well he wants more and for me personally, hes not worth anywhere near that much. I do agree with the whole loyalty thing being a dead concept these days though, it just doesnt really exist anymore and agents play a big part in that as well.

Exactly, the potential is there for him but only in specific circumstances. Is he going to be a drogba or costa who can sort of bully and create a goal on their own? I dont see it. But can he be like haaland where all he'll need to do is essentially sit in the box and wait for the rest of the team to create for him? I see that, and I can see him scoring quite a few. His overall play will never be overly good like we see in the best strikers but if he does enough of a job being a threat in the box and getting goals then its all good for me. But like I said, depends heavily on the price.

his best position is a 10 or a 2nd striker. Havertz needs to be sold anyway so he shouldnt be in the conversation. Having 2 players in Nkunku and Felix for that position is ideal, and nkunku can play as a striker if needs be anyway.

I can see it being another year loan with an obligation to pay at the end of it which makes sense for all parties. As the last few posts have mentioned above, he is a very classy player and we haven't seen anywhere near the best of him yet in a chelsea shirt. He came into utter chaos and still somehow ended up being our top scorer since he came in, and even if you take away all the goals he is still one of the best players on the pitch. Once we sort the squad out and sell the deadwood, get a proper manager in and play attacking football I think we will definitely see the best of him. He is our franchise player if it all goes well

a lot of reason for optimism for next season 1) anything has to be better than the absolute dog sh*t we have seen this year 2) proper manager coming in, Pochettino has his flaws but at least we know he can work with dog sh*t and build a foundation and stabilise a club during turmoil. 3) massive squad clearout coming with plenty of deadwood set to leave this summer 4) couple more signings coming in in crucial positions by the looks of things (a 6, striker, possible keeper) a lot to look forward to in the coming months! just 1 last pitiful game we have to endure on sunday and then this season can be long forgotten

only thing that makes sense to me is that hes letting these players audition for their moves in the summer. In that regard, it does make sense as at least if they perform well they'll be easier to be sold instead of just rotting on the bench for months and make them even harder to sell
