Trevoh Chalobah
Maybe it wasnt everton then, but one of the games recently. Ill have to rewatch some highlights to see which one it was but either way not great. we are here to win things, but expecting that next season is silly when its very clearly going to be a season to build on. Top 4 plus some decent cup runs is about the best we can hope for at this point. I would much rather give the chances to younger players and get rid of RLC and his way overpaid 100k wages. as @Sexyfootball has already shown, you have just made up fake stats to prove your false claims. We conceded more with chilwell in the team haha. Chiwell spends most the match in the opponents penalty box trying to score goals, and as a fullback he shouldnt be near there half as much as he is really. Scoring a couple of goals doesnt cover for the fact that as a LB he isnt very good. Im not writing off academy lads, im saying we should promote the better, younger ones with much higher ceilings than some of the washed bunch we have right now that have failed to live up to expectations such as rlc, chalobah, gallagher, cho.. the list is long

Manual Ugarte
been trying to watch him as much as possible the past 6 months or so from when I first heard his name mentioned. very technically sound and can be coached into sitting a bit deeper. If you see this graphic as well, it shows how they compliment each other very nicely
-
Manual Ugarte
Thats the whole point of getting Ugarte, he will play as the deeper one and thats his preferred role as well. This will let Enzo go more forward in the 8 role and he wont have to worry about defending as much which isnt one of his strengths
-
Kai Havertz
I like Kai, but its pretty clear hes not a striker and there isnt really a place for him in the squad anymore. He would do well back at Bayern in the Muller role I feel like so its best for all parties if he goes there for a reasonable fee.

Trevoh Chalobah
He was bad against everton from what I remember and nothing too special in those madrid games. You said 35 appearances and hes only hit that number twice. Hes around 30 usually on his good years, but most come from sub appearances and he still spends portions of the season injured. we are talking about players who are going to get bit part minutes, so it doesnt matter how good you perceive them to be. I would rather give these small minutes here and there throughout the season to younger players instead who actually have the potential to surpass what RLC has achieved in his career so far instead of him. Plus like I said before, we are looking to sign at least 2 midfielders this summer and given potential contract renewals for existing players like Kante and Mount, he'll barely get any mins as it is Cucurella was player of the year at brighton last season, and we have seen glimpses of what he can do. His passing ability is far clear of what Chilwell and Hall have shown, which I think is key to how we are looking to play. Koulibaly is much the same, we have seen glimpses of how good he can be this season, and I think under a proper manager they will do well. Defenders these days have to do more than just be tackle merchants, they have to be good on the ball and in possession whilst also being good at passing and Koulibaly and Cucurella (on their good days) can do this very well. Chilwell I think is very overrated personally, if you look at his average position each match, hes one of the most far forward players, even ahead of the likes of our attackers sometimes, so him statpadding a few goals doesnt really mean much when he cant defend and is bad on the ball. Also im not saying that Cucurella and Koulibaly have been great signings, I just see the potential in them to flourish under a good manager and writing them off completely after 1 year is a bit harsh, especially given at times they have both looked excellent

Manual Ugarte
looks like the perfect partner for Enzo, they complement each other very well, Must buy imo.

Trevoh Chalobah
I disagree completely. Thought hes been pretty poor whenever hes played out at RB and even in a back 3 hes looked average at RCB. Hes been okay last couple of games but that doesnt cover for his whole season. Cant really think of any notable performances if im being honest. There have definitely been plenty of stinkers from our defence, but I dont look too deep into that as a lot of them have come under lampard and he couldnt setup a defence to save his life and never has been able to. RLC 35 games a season?? hes injured most of the time, and has only ever made over 35 appearances a season twice in his whole career so I dont know where you're getting these fake number from. Majority come off the bench as well for a few minutes. Like you said Hall is already in the squad, but we also have Chukwuemka who definitely deserves more time, and is actually quite baffling how he hasnt had more time in the last few months. You could also argue Santos if he doesnt get sent out on loan. We're also looking to buy a few new midfielders as well. Would promote Charlie Webster to the first team if possible as he looks a real player and I like the look of Ben Elliot as well. RLC's time has passed and he will never live up to the potential I think its time you realise that. Koulibaly and Cucurella have only had 1 season here, and their upside is clear to see despite underperforming to what we all expected. Id give them another season under a proper manager to see how they perform, but if they are still similar this time next year then move them on sure.

Trevoh Chalobah
Best CB? hes been nowhere near that. Silva and Badiashille have been far better and even Fofana at times. And you can even argue that koulibaly's best games this season have been far better than chalobah's best games. Kovacic already seems to be going, so thats a moot point. But even with just 1 year left on his contract, im hearing numbers around 30-40m for him, so it goes to show how good he was at point and still can be. RLC meanwhile is deadwood and has been for years despite his odd good false hope performance. Colwill/Badiashille/Fofana/Silva/Koulibaly are our 5 CB's for next season, and im happy with that for now. Can even throw Cucurella in as a CB in a back 3 if we resort to that. If Koulibaly decides to leave and we are selling him then Chalobah can stay, but I doubt that happens given his wages. But being a right footed, ball playing CB we should keep him imo.

Trevoh Chalobah
The cobham players who will never really be good enough to warrant starting XI spaces or barely scrape in to the bench should be sold imo. especially after a certain age. Chalobah for me is another loftus cheek, decent to be there and can be a bench player and at times has shown hes good, but better off selling and making money. We have plenty of youth players coming through cobham who can sit on the bench instead
-
Trevoh Chalobah
definitely reaching if you think hes been that good, hes been very average from what ive seen. I understand the HG quota, but with colwill coming in, he replaces him in that regard and is a massive upgrade. we need to sell off the cobham players for FFP that arent instant starters for us like James is. I personally have never thought chalobah was good enough more than just a squad depth player, but we can find those sort of players elsewhere and its better to sell and make money.

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
Exactly. He is the manager that potter should have been, in terms of hes there to help steady the ship and lay a foundation and help sorting out the squad, and once that was done we upgrade to a top class manager. Unfortunately due to specific circumstances (not all potters fault) it didnt work out, and now Pochettino is in charge of that job. I dont see Pochettino as a long term appointment, hence why the rumours are its a 3 year deal, possibly even 2 with an option as I think he will never be good enough to be at the top top level. But for a rebuild job, he is a great appointment
-
Trevoh Chalobah
needs to go, one of the few players we can get some decent money for and it'll go down as pure profit for FFP
-
So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
very happy that its Pochettino we have for now, hes the ideal person to sort of stabilise the team again and build a good foundation. His serial loser gene will never leave him, so once he has done his job of building a good foundation in the next 1-2 years we can upgrade to someone like De Zerbi At the moment going for the big names isnt going to help, we need a proven manager that can build and lay foundations

Chelsea v Brentford (PL) Wed 26th Apr 2023 19:45 GMT
feels like hes back for revenge and trying to sink this club on purpose. His lineups for the most part has been awful and it doesnt make any sense why. the last couple of games it has been okay

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) Tue 2nd May 2023 20:00 GMT
A Mudryk and/or Felix goal and getting 3 points is the dream outcome

Lampard is the worst manager in our history from what I can remember. shouldnt go anywhere near management again. Im sure hes doing this on purpose

Our New Stadium
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12003137/IN-MONEY-Chelsea-plan-build-2BILLION-expansion-Stamford-Bridge.html budget upped to 2 billion! im hearing we're going to hire the same guy who designed the previous rumoured stadium (the bird nest looking one) but now to work with a much higher budget. Also good news that we're sticking with stamford bridge

Levi Colwill
He was pretty poor against Brighton though, but I do agree. I still think Colwill is better, especially on the ball and with his passing but as a pure defender then currently yes Badiashille is better. choice is good though right? We need 2 players for each position anyway so they can both work. Colwill/Badiashille on the left and Fofana/Koulibaly on the right. I know its not Kouli's ideal position, but hes more capable playing there than the other 2 left footed cb's
-
Gavi from Barcelona
overrated player, Pedri is far better. They somehow just get lumped in together because of their age and both coming through at a similar time
-
Levi Colwill
Oh please for the love of god dont take a word of what this moron says seriously. Hes a pitiful american who really has no knowledge on football and just likes to spout nonsense about any cobham prospect without even watching them play. He talks like he has sources but in reality I very much doubt that.
-
Levi Colwill
If we play a back 3, assuming Silva is gone then Koulibaly would be CCB and Colwill would be the LCB with Cucurella LWB.
-
Mykhailo Mudryk signs for Chelsea
thought he actually stepped up and performed pretty well against Brighton. The assist was a good one as well, impressed with the way he carried the ball and had the vision to make the pass. Seems like clutching at straws here, but after his recent performances this was pretty decent I felt like

Will Frank Lampard inspire us to knock out Real Madrid?
we need a manager that can instill some fear into these players, I fear nagelsmann because of his age won't really do that and eventually will end up losing the dressing room

Real Madrid v Chelsea (CL) Wed 12th Apr 2023 20:00 GMT
pretty typical to see the opinions im seeing. A few weeks ago it was all on potter, but when lampard is doing even worse lets not blame the manager and blame the players instead (except mount) how absurd
