  1. the game against Villa at home last week was just as bad if not worse
  2. if he was any good would Simeone have let him go....
  3. bit dramatic mate... just need some stability and clear out of deadwood this summer ..Ziyech, Havertz, RLC and recent mistake signings- KK, Cucu, Joao Felix
  4. We can see now how destructive Abramovich's forced departure has been ... losing Rudiger being one obvious casualty
  5. This is a painful watch , Frank's got a job on his hands .... Cucu and Joao Felix not Chelsea players , Kova past his best, Havertz nowhere .. Chilwell and Dennis on (hope he stays) where are the goals coming from???
  6. It's a risky appointment, but at least demonstrates that the owners are not fearful of making controversial decisions .... fortune favours the brave. Now looking forward to attending the game against Brighton on the 15th, was dreading it under Potter and co, they'll all get paid off and find new positions but time for that mournful entourage to be swept out.
  7. hope not, hasn't the creds and hence the Gravitas
  8. Simeone would be a good fit, whether we like it or not, the fan base and club have a nasty streak (although not as bad as it was when I was a kid) and Simeone has all that aggressive edge in bundles..... Potter was too sentimental with Bruno coming out with more emotional sh*te "pain" talk in the presser today.... this is competitive team sport, not group therapy
  9. The step up was damaging him and the players - Tuesday's reaction against LFC will be interesting......
  10. how is this comment xenophobic? he’s just describing a cultural element of American business attitudes … look at the banking crash if you want evidence of this . I don’t want to see the team lose and am now dreading taking my son to the Brighton game on the 15th if this misfit manager is still there, but if it takes a likely loss to LFC on Tuesday to oust Potter then so be it…….. @ mod can we screen for over sensitive woke leaning subscribers

  12. I’m in my first season of coaching in an U7 team in London …. all the 8 boys are supposed to get equal game time which is very disruptive , and some have two left feet and should be on a rugby pitch,… I changed it up and kept a core of 5 players on for several games, the parents of the clueless kids kicked off but we were winning. It’s football and the basics don’t change from grassroots to PL
  13. It’s obvious he’s damaging them, god only knows what he’s saying to them in training or the dressing room…. The man looks depressed and is probably talking a load of therapeutic psychobabble sh*te to them that they don’t need or understand , draining them of confidence .. it’s going to take a player with balls like Mount or Enzo to display public dissent towards him and kick off in the dugout ……… I have tickets for the Brighton game and don’t really want to go with my son if this misfit is still there
  14. I would suggest that the shots are as weak as fck and the team lacks fighting spirit, because the manager is draining the players of confidence ... just looking at the bloke let alone listening to him is affecting their instincts .... Mudryk today had no killer instinct in front of goal... that is not normal ... My son plays for a team that I coach and instinctively bangs goals in.. it's what players live for, but not for this donut manager
  15. surely in the very least the players will respect a proven winner..... there's not a chance they respect potter and that's the problem, they're being forced to
  16. well right, they can't just make impulsive decisions even if the best thing to do , and drop millions on jettisoning potter, but if we continue on this course the club will lose millions in income... RA could do that with his own money and that suited the hard nosed mentality of the club and fanbase ... TB has probably never experienced fan power in the US and thinks just playing exhibition soccer with fans doing a mexican wave is going to succeed ... oops
  17. JT would work, at least he'll inspire the players or go down fighting .... otherwise TB is turning this club into exhibition soccer
  18. just the look in their eyes says it all, let alone body language ... who's the tubby assistant ? really inspiring elite coaches these two ffs
  19. I went to the ladies game on Thursday night... put their bodies on the line, dug deep and fought for a result... There's no way the mens team are playing for this muppet manager in the same way... just look at the substitution with Kante... a world cup winner taking instructions from a no mark manager. He looks like the local landscape gardener, not an elite coach with an ego to match the ego's he's managing ... he has to go
  20. Taking my boy to the return game at the Bridge next Thursday, looking forward to it
  21. cheers, it's an eye opener
