  1. Apologies, gentlemen, if I'm off topic but I would appreciate some advice. I've travelled from Australia to see Chelsea tomorrow. Fan since 1987 and member but this will be my first game in ten years. I have two tickets in the Matthew Harding Lower: BLOCK 12 ROW EE SEAT0068 and BLOCK 14 ROW CC SEAT 0130. I'd like to know what you think of these seats and which seat is in the rowdiest area because that's where I want to be. My nephew gets the other ticket. Also, sounds like the Hand and Flower might be the best place for pre-match lubrication? Any help appreciated. Carefree. The D.
  2. Very little between JT, Ballack and Essien. JT just. I thought Malouda's first half was too poor to deserve a gong.
  3. A pleasure to watch that one. Untouchable when we went 4-4-2. Surprisingly excellent second half from Malouda. But from over here in the cheap seats, it looked like no-one congratulated him for scoring. Go the Mighty Wigan.
  4. For those of us who only get to see Chels live once every 10 years or so ... Alan! f**ken nice one, man.
  5. What a morning it's been. Waking the neighbours with roars of delight at 6am. My wife was concerned for my welfare ... so many emotions. All worth it just to see the pathetic, beaten look on the face of the fat spanish drink waiter at the end. Hats of to Lamps, Drog, Essien et al - in fact, a remarkable team effort. It's wrong that we've had to put up with mistakes from Avram Grant but at least he's learning from them. He had a good night.
  6. Clear penalty. I derive so much pleasure from watching Manure bleat.
  7. Lethal cross from Kalou! We were good for the goal. Looked very comfortable passing it about the last half hour. But we have the Great CECH to thank again. The withdrawal of Ballack was unfathomable. On to the Bridge
  8. I support his stance. But he doesn't do angry very well does he?
  9. Hi all. My first post. Joey is almost totally spent after a grand campaign - I think this is one thing Grant does recognise - and must be excused his indifferent showing tonight. Hopefully a few days off will re-energise him ahead of the trip to Anfield. Grant's irritating inaction should have again cost us dearly. The introduction of Anichebe and Gravesen changed the entire tempo of the game but Grant just sat on his considerable rear for 15 minutes before doing anything about it! Carvalho and Essien - magnificent. Malouda - deplorable. SWP - another vintage performance
