I'm not defending Costa but I'm saying Remy isn't the answer either.

Remy was hardly spectacular when he came on, yes he was in the right place at the right time for his goal but even I could have put that away.

Could be the worst half of the season. Not sure if they are so good or we are so bad! They look sharper and more hungry all over the pitch, our boys look uninterested and shot away confidence wise.

Yeah I played made day 2 busted 188th for £280, il spare you the bad beat though lol. Nice comp, good atmosphere though you might as well have been in a warehouse as at SB as you couldn't see any of the ground/pitch from where we played under the west stand. Got a free stadium tour out of it though which was OK as its been a few years since I been on one.

Hi Jamie Please could you possibly check the result ? The Attendance was 29,121. Splishsplosh guess was 29,898 ( 777 away) whilst my guess was 28,494 ( 627 away) I hope my maths is correct lol thank you

Congratulations Adam and Zola you were both the nearest to the 29,121 crowd figure though I'm not sure Zolas should count as it was in fact his second guess ;-)

Lol wind your neck in will ya! I can assure you I'm far from an armchair fan though you are correct as I was watching the game from my couch Saturday. I don't need to explain my loyalties to you or my history re Chelsea fc, all I was saying is the atmosphere seemed very muted on Saturday and whether it was down to it being an early kick off. Maybe it's the placing of the microphones by sky that made it come across that way.

Atmosphere seem pretty sh*t today even before things went wrong, do we get a different clientele for these early kick offs or do we all need a skin full to cheer our team on?

I think today we will see the upward turn continue. The last 3 matches we've played ok, a few silly moments and not much luck meant the results weren't great but I think that will all change today. The ground should be buzzing although the early kick off doesn't help we should still be able to get behind the team. I think Zouma will be at centre half today, mainly because it's his best position but also to combat benteke's pace and power. Not sure who will partner him JT or Cahill, either will be fine I just side with JT. Dave and baba at full backs will hopefully give us more width. Personally I'd play mikel and Matic together, this takes a bit pressure of Matic who seems to think he has to do everything in there ATM after early season criticism. With mikel there he will be a bit more controlled and may be able to add a bit to the attack. The 3 behind the striker, hazard must play, as frustrating as he has been at times this season he's still our best player and our best at unlocking defences. Has shown his form is returning in recent weeks I just hope the pen miss doesn't affect him. Willian is a shoe in on the right, our best player this Season both attacking and defensively and we would be in a lot more trouble without him. As for the number 10, I'd love to see Rubens in there, his weight of pass is delightful and I could see him slipping the strikers in continually but I think it will be Oscar or Fabregas. Out the two I'd go with Fabregas. I love Oscar but Fab is well rested so should be ready for this in his better no 10 position with the strength of mikel and Matic behind. The game a few days later against the spuds was a very emotional day indeed. Fair play the spuds were impeccably behaved . The moment just before ko when a fan climbed out the North stand strolled head bowed to the middle of the pitch and placed a pint of Guinness on the centre circle was amazing.

Much better tonight, looks like the rest has done him good.

1 premier title in the 2 seasons without Mata lol you make it sound awful ! 1 more than Mata has achieved since. Love Mata but he just didn't fit the system Jose wants to play so was sold for good money, nothing to do with jose's view in him as a player. As for De Bruyne, was gutted when he went as I think he is the real deal but if a player won't fight for his place and except a challenge then they have to go IMO.

Let's hope he's now given a chance.

Why did you ask me that? Has he been then? Yes we took off our holding midfielder but hardly threw caution to the wind because we then had Fabregas holding for the remainder of the game. And tbh at the moment you or I could pass better than Fabregas lol

I can't remember mikel coming on and then being subbed? Felt sorry for Matic today but he showed his class by coming off without a scene. A number of others in the same situation may have spat the dummy out.
