At half time I wasn't happy at all but a much better second half performance where we bossed the game gave me optimism we will be fine. Worried that without Costa we may be a bit toothless and Jose may need to buy a striker in the peak of his powers. Plus's for me were Willian, Cahill, Oscar and Zouma. Remy Falcao Dave, hazard and Ivan were all well off the pace.

Although technically only a pre season friendly it would still be nice to put one over the gooners. Gutted not going today but those who are it's either the globe at Baker Street or better still on a day like this the green man at wembley in the beer garden. Don't forget stock up on the celery and sing loud and proud ktbffh!

Chalaboh isn't good enough, decent in the tackle but doesn't get around enough or with enough urgency. Makes you realise just how good Matic is! Rlc will hopefully get a start Wednesday, has looked good when coming on very composed and assured.

Don't know if it's been mentioned on here and earlier and I've just seen it wasn't shown on sky but late in the second half while skertel was down injured the chorus of "Fabregas is magic" whilst Cesc was standing waiting to take a corner was fantastic. Pure noise for a good 10 or 12 renditions whilst Cesc clapped along and tapping his foot lol he stood there as proud as punch!

Jose hasn't given up lol, a good rest and he will be back next season better than ever.

Only see it live will watch it back again tomorrow but from what I saw Fabregas was superb! JT just gets better with age to so one or the other for me .

Lucked out? They had one shot on target and that was from 30 yards, they hardly opened us up enough to luck out.

Have to agree with the Brit , we were very exposed time after time down the right side without Willian especially first half and I'd have preferred Oscar in at number 10. It is funny how people see games, I thought Fab was poor, giving the ball away, getting caught in possession and lacking work rate whilst I read someone else made him there mom lol.

I was in the Mhl and the atmosphere was very good throughout most of the match. United had a go to lift there team just after half time but were soon drowned by the Chelsea .

It wasn't a chip it was a deflection that looped it over de gea , he should have shot earlier it was obvious the defence would catch him. Love him to bits, a legend, but sometimes you got to accept your times up.

His positioning at times today especially in the first period wasn't great but grew into the game second half as his confidence grew. Forget any idea of a midfield roll this lad is going to be an awesome centre back!

Why? Zouma is far better in the air and built like a tank I'm sure he could win his fair share v fellani Wouldn't do it myself but Zouma the man for the job if Jose does decide

Nothing wrong with him being 3rd choice striker, can also play in the problem right side midfield position so would get more than enough game time.
