New Chelsea TV Online – Live friendlies
Oh right, cheers. I think it's really stupid they don't show the simulcasts if you live in England. What happens if you don't have sky at home? I do but i would rather have it on my laptop tbh. What advantage is there for Chelsea if we buy it for our TV? FFS Chelsea sort it out! Going to the palace game tomorrow- with a nice :) ticket price for a change!

New Chelsea TV Online – Live friendlies
Just got chelseatv online now. It says this next to live events: ''Not available to users within the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Eire''. That really sucks as it never said that was the case in the link provided above. I only wanted it for the pre-season games.

An ode to Didier Drogba by a Wolves fan
I don't support Chelsea. I think he is amazing- I find his 'antics' amusing rather than annoying, and understand his passion for good football far outweighs any negativities in his game. You gotta take into account how good he is, and then brush aside any small things you don't like about him. I think all chelsea players should be proud to play alongside such a great, and should marvel at his brilliance like I do. Best player in the World- screw Messi, Drogba is untamed and ready to wreak havoc like you've never SEEN!

An ode to Didier Drogba by a Wolves fan
First off, I'm a United fan. But i agree with you and your dad about Drogba, and his view on Tevez. I am only a young guy but your dad seems to know his stuff so listen up boy/man. Drogba fully deserves all the praise he gets. I too agree he is unplayable, and really do hope he is fit for the World Cup and continues his sublime form.

FA Youth Cup 09/10
I probably am. I am one of the worst cynic out there! It just seems he relies solely on his speed and strength, and it's a 50/50 whether he gets around his player. He did a few good crosses, but i found him extremely frustrating to watch. Josh plays a bit in and out (as 'Star' explained in the thread about him- he's always spot on peeps) which i completely agree with, but hopefully that will change somehow.

Joshua McEachran
Mate read the thread i started i made earlier before i saw this on Josh. Exactly like you say; Josh doesnt catch the eye until he does something completely out of this world, and then people forget in a few minutes, as it is usually over and done with before Tore gets back on his feet lol. Josh will be definately good enough for chelsea first team.

FA Youth Cup 09/10
That's exactly how he's played in previous games i've seen him in. He does make mistakes but makes up for them(at this level atleast). He goes into almost every challenge, which is great to see. He still needs a bit more experience though, but looks impressive. Hard to say if he will make it on the big stage consistently imo, but definately lower prem team or championship. I'm very critical

FA Youth Cup 09/10
I was sitting at the top of the shed, and i'll admit it, Josh was to quick for my eyes. But I know it was good because you know to get from A-B requires amazing skill/vision. I would really appreciate some footage to marvel at the brilliance too. (He did atleast 3 amazing pieces of skill that are worthy of 'YouTube' status).

FA Youth Cup 09/10
I went to the final last night. I was very impressed with Bruma- he won every header (but should have scored that clear header in the first half!!!!!!!), and has a fantastic attitude which was clear from the off-set (he needs to be playing high level footie). Conor Clifford was also at the heart of the midfield, and was fantastic, and obviously scored that cracker to win it. I was getting a bit annoyed in the first half when he kept shooting; but now i kinda of see why lol (i was aware he scores alot of long distance goals before too) However the guy that really impressed me was that Josh McEachran. I didn't know anything about this lad really before the game. Everyone of my mates go on about Gokhan Tore; but to me he is average and way over rated. He runs with the ball pretty well but is predictable(also he hasnt got the best figure has he?). Josh on the other hand is different class. This guy is clearly under-rated, as i never hear of him ever. He did some stuff by the corner flag that not many world class players could do imo. The thing is, he goes un-noticed compared to Gokhan Tore because he flows with the game(how i used to play, so i KNOW it goes un-noticed most of the time) Gokhan on the other hand is not talented enough to do that; he has to change things to make things happen.( i.e use his pace/brute force or a million step overs, and get lucky ultimately) More players like Josh need to be spotted at early ages, and with the right guidance(good academy upbringing) will certainly yield decent crop  I dont get why you barely ever see these types of players but certainly lots of the Gokhan tore's, who are often good at youth but will ultimately wither when they are up against the best, and never have consistent form. There are a million Gokhan Tore's out there. I have real high hopes for this Josh. He is only 17 i think, and quite frankly he is superb for that age.He is almost scarily good imo, and perhaps will be one day, and turn into a 'GREAT' player.

Just two Chelsea players in the PFA team of the year
Evra is an amazing player. Best player for united this season for sure imo. Drogba is so under rated. I just can't see how Rooney is better than Drogba. Certain players strike me as unstopable. I have to confess Paul Scholes is one of them. Drogba is another. Most other players i look at and rate are good, but can't pull of the spectacular which those two do. Frank lampard and Steven Gerradr are on the edge of greatness and frequently produce pure magic too. But with Scholes and Drogba for instance it's very noticable how good they are (as in they are un-playable) .....This is only a young lads OPINION so please don't take it to heart. :D

Is Sam Hutchinson still playing for Chelsea?
No one replaces cech- not even Turnbull lol- he is rubbish I certainly would have no hesistation fielding Sturridge in a fair few games in favour of Anelka. Sturridge is a proven decent player. Come next season, S.Hutchinson (if he remains fit) WILL get alot of games at right back. He is definately better than ferreira for the premier league. I have seen Sam alot in the Reserves and he's decent. I personally reckon that in time and with experience Sam will probably become centre back with JT and then Bruma. Sam is good at RB but i think he is far better at CB, where he can be more involved, and constantly doing what he's good at. He isn't the best at dribbling to be honest, rather someone who reads the game, makes vital interceptions, organises the back four, and distributes the ball quickly and effectively (and curling in the occassional 40 yard pass every now and then). I would still play him RB but thats not his favoured position long term, and depending on who we are playing. Imagine Hutchinson and G.Bale playing for england down either flank. :)

I would play sturridge over Anelka to see how he does and see how well he settles. Anelka flops too much. Drogba on the other hand is an absolute beast- irreplacable imo, and wins matches with ease . Cant believe Rooney got the PFA award over Drogba. Drogba is much better than Rooney- however you look at it. Sam needs to start early next season; give him a chance- if he's crap, drop him; simples :)

The kid crosses better than beckham lol. fereira is a nice little player but prefer Sam by a mile to be honest. Much more enthuasitic, and his speed would have been good against Bale last week. Fereira simply isn't suited to the premierleague. All he has on Sam is experience. Good player for sure, but past it now.

Is Sam Hutchinson still playing for Chelsea?
He couldn't do that again if he tried That cross makes up for any f**k ups though to be honest. That was the one real time he had to show what he's capable off and he did so in the best fashion possible. The thing with Sam is, is that he is a confidence player. He has to play more games to reach his best and not be nervous. Sturrdige came on and wasnt nervous because he already has experience and possibly a more calm person. Hopefully his injury is gone now, and he can play regular football like he should be.

he is rather quick isn't he! I never knew that he was rapid like that. pretty impressed by his speed- prob keep up with walcott.

Great to see Sam play. Stunning cross. He was nervous(in a good way) Needs much more experience, and he will be class i reckon. I can't see how he wont be really good. He passes well, and knows where to be at the right time. Just nerves, which is only natural.

Yuri Zhirkov
He is an awesome player. Gets on with the job, is very effective. Should definately show his perfomance to others.

Is Sam Hutchinson still playing for Chelsea?
Well put. Jose obviously knows his stuff! He wouldn't make such a bold claim off such a young defender unless he was pretty much certain. And also Sam has been training with the 1st team for many years since he was 15/16 i heard. Very unfortunate indeed. Hopefully he can atleast get some games in, now Chelsea have pretty much won lol.

Is Sam Hutchinson still playing for Chelsea?
LOL LOL! Look its pretty obvious from all the decent replies that 1) Sam Hutchinson would have played a fair few games this season had he not been injured, and been a regular on the bench. 2) Mancienne CANNOT defend! i like Mancienne but not as a defender, holding midfield perfect- Chelsea does not need him! What don't you get? I have watched most of the reserves and feel Sam was the only one with the desire/belief to make it at Chelsea. 'Star' highlights this very well. I want to understand his injury. When I used to play to a fairly high level (was due to have Leicester city trials), but one ankle injury killed me dead because i didnt rehabilitate it correctly. (to be fair the NHS didn't tell me how too) But my point is that perhaps Sam's injury isn't a knock a such, so its unfair callling him a lightweight etc as someone has labelled him. I used to love getting knocks and i think every pro does. It's part of the fun and competition isn't it? Fair play for him for sticking at it imo. Must be going through hell i imagine for such a promising youngster. oh well, sh*t happens though. But he's at CHELSEA- he gotta make it. I reckon he should just play through it, whatever even if he has short career i would do it. he's young, take anything at that age.(I realise i contradict myself; i do that alot!)

Is Sam Hutchinson still playing for Chelsea?
Stoch is quite simply fantastic- Really does have it all. This is what all players whould be doing though- getting experience week in week out. I could tell you now that Stoch in particular is a player who needs game time to reach his potential. I mean if these Chelsea lads arent cutting the grade at low league premiership teams then jsut get rid. Harsh but thats how i do business....
