MOTM vs Portsmouth (FA Cup)
Ramires or Lampard. Tbh at times it seemed the only one with a bit of urgency was Lampard. Watching Chelsea is painful esp when people either side of you are constantly swearing. And why were no younger players involved? Hutch and Bertrand should have started (and Josh depending on loan). Only real plus point was seeing Brooke Vincent and her 'gals', but that was well before the match had even started.....

Chelsea v Portsmouth (FA Cup) 08/01/12 KO 15:00 GMT
Should be able to manage 45 though. He's played the full 90 in most of the reserve games against the likes of Villa, who are probably on par with Pompey.

Who are you most excited for?
Lucas Piazon is the pick of that bunch, Chalobah may make it too, but more sure of Piazon.

Scholes is laughably overrated
It's pretty hard to dispute all these great players getting a hard on over the fella though isn't it.... Tbh I thought Scholes was very strong mentally. Who cares if he didn't have all the skill in the world, he was still very effective at what he did do. He was far more consistent than any other midfielder in the PL for a good while. In his early days I think I remember he wasn't very consistent at all, obv finding his feet. The fact is, the mental aspect obviously has alot to do with success on the pitch, and Scholes had that in abundance, and importantly he was able to maintain it for what seemed like forever. Top player/

Chelsea reserves 3 Norwich Reserves 0
In pretty much all of the highlights and in 1 or 2 full games I've seen so far this season, he's shown moments of pure quality. Very skillfull player indeed. Always hear Drummy shouting Kaaaabbbbbbbyyyyyyyy when he does a good pass or something lol

Another 90 for Hutchinson's good. Shame the game wasn't on CTV though. Billy clifford looked impressive in that last game against West Brom too. Can't be too long before Hutch is intergrated back into the 1st team, where he belongs

Chelsea v Wolves (reserves) 17/10/2011 2:05pm
I've been impressed with Kaby too. Reminds me of Kakuta, but more consistent. Nice quick passing, and change of pace. Mind you he looks about 5....

Babayaro Bankrupt
What would he have spent all his money on though? The only thing I can think of is a hell of alot of drugs. Even gambling can surely only lose you so much before you realise you're losing far too much. Perhaps he has alot of expensive assets like gold/bling, or something.

Which Young Players Are Good Enough To Feature This Season?
I personally believe M.Mancienne is good enough for Chelsea. Does anyone know how Sam Hutchinson's doing now. He wasn't on the bench at the weekend. Bruma has gone on loan which is brilliant for him- will see how good he really is. Once you hit 19 you need to be tested properly. By the time you're 21 you wana be cemented in a team or atleast have some sort of place. Bruma is on a very nice track and if he does well this season could literally be first team starting next season.

Hilario
Hilario is VERY good shot stopper. Yes his footwork is crap- surely he can work on that though. I wouldn't ever right Hilario off.

Chelsea Pre-Season
Where's Sam Hutchinson again? I thought his knee issue was all cleared up?

Chelsea Pre-Season
2nd/3rd choice CHELSEA goalkepper.... Just making sure we're referring to the same club here! Turnbul is not good enough. I'm surprised he's lasted so long. Chelsea's back line today was awesome. None of them were at fault for Lost Turbull's basic errors. Dutch boys are great prospects.

Bad excuse that, plus they were youth/reserve team players he plays with anyway.

Chelsea Pre-Season
He was extrmemely poor in the few Reserve matches i saw him in. I Remember Hutch passing him a simple pass back, and he made a complete mess of it. I would feel nervus as a defender playing with someone like Ross. I don't think he communicates very well with the back 4 either. Being a goalkeeper is a very hard job, especially when not playing all the time, or brought on as a sub. I don't think Ross is cut out to be a P.L keeper. End school report/

Chelsea Pre-Season
..... And If the Chelsea goalkeeping coach can't teach Ross how to avoid basic mistakes, I don't know who can. I would much rather have the coach as the third choice GK personally. Watching him and Cech before games is always very enjoyable.

Chelsea Pre-Season
Daniel Sturridge has loads of ability and has a very good eye for the goal. He always plays wth confidence which is rare to see imo as a striker. Compare him to Di Santo for example who I also thinks a good player but not on Dan's wavelength. I would rather give Studge some game time over Anelka too. I think he would work very well with Drogba, or Anelka for that matter. There's something missing with Anelka and Drogba. Drogba needs a more explosive partner and someone he can relate to more: Dan Sturridge. They would feed of each other. Studge would provide the movement, and i gurantee he would get more goals than Anelka.

Chelsea Pre-Season
Hilario is a solid kepper, and experienced, and seems like a sound guy. Just get rid of Turbull, simple. How can he be given chance after chance whilst most likely on about 50 grand a week?? It's a joke really. Why didn't Hutchinson play?, a proper player always gives 100%. But thats why he prob always has injuries cause he gets stuck in to much. Does he basically get secondary injuries everytime he comes back like they were saying today about not playing Essien too long because he's new back, and he's more prone to getting little niggles.

Chelsea Pre-Season
You don't have to be a premier league manager to relaise Turnbull is sh*te, and in a world of his own half the time. Daniel Sturridge is a quality player. He's the real deal. I remember seeing him score that opening goal against Seatle last year and knew from then he's a qaulity player. I think he's better than Anelka. Drogba plus Sturridge would make an amazing partnership, with pace provided on the wings. Sturridge needs more game time. I don't know how the hell Turbull has eneded up Chelsea lol. He's made mistakes in most games he's played in and it's the fact they are the same mistakes all the time. I wana wake the fella up, or send him on his way. I don't care if Sturridge is arrogant, because atleast he's hungry to play, and evidently actually wants to win unlike Lost Turnbull. *I gurantee i would do a better job than Turnbull*

Crystal Palace 17/07/10
Anyone know what's up with Hutch these days? I was expecting to see him get some time against Palace yesterday. Be very sad if it's his knee still, but I read an article saying he had recovered but now can't train everyday- Ledley King esque. Cheers.

New Chelsea TV Online – Live friendlies
You can sign up for a year or on a monthly basis. It's a fiver a month if you pay monthly, but only 2 pound for the first one. You have to cancel, and i think the minimum is 2 months. Don't know what the live streaming will be like. But others have said for previous pre-season games it has been fine.
