Its nice to see Cech getting some credit for our first goal it was a superb team goal and Cech's vision was the key.

The FA Cup was a nice ending to a disapointing season, he also came through a heartbreaking moment with us, he's one of my favourites.

I'm actually a little worried about the Liverpool game, they will probably do their best to shut us out and Torres may get a lucky break. I'm still worried.

Thank you, that was my problem with the article saying he hasn't shown class before when he clearly has. Especially when we put 7 past Villa he was immense in that game and won us two pennas. He was also fantastic against United at OT. I agree he is best suited as a wing player

Lol yeah but from what I've seen of Lukaku he is also strong, good in the air and can finish he reminds me of a quicker Drogba that is only a good thing if we sign him

He looked class when he played left back for us when Cole was out thats why it annoyed me. He's only had a poor start to this season really.

Why would we sign him when we have Bosingwa, Paulo and Ivan Plus he's 28 not exactly young

The bit I've highlighted in bold is crap, when he came in at left back when Coley was injured last season he was excellent especially in the Villa game last season. Unbelievable how short some memories are.

Hopefully one day and if we sign Lukaku but I doubt it will work that well straight away maybe in a few years plus I think Lampard and Drogba will be in our first team for at least a couple more seasons

You make a good point but as fans we are gonna worry if our team isn't performing we were very very fortunate to come away with anything yesterday and if we play like that against better opposition we will lose for sure however, we do tend to raise our game for the right occassion so we'll probably be fine. The positive's are we haven't played well the last two games but escaped with 6 points, we are better off points wise than we were last season and we have only lost one game. So hopefully we can kick on and pick up but aslong as we win thats all that matters.

I have to agree our mentality isn't looking right I get a feeling we're gonna get punished soon unless we pick ourselves up. I'm really worried about our trip to Anfield next week, I know they look cack but there's nothing like a result against the Champions to get your season rolling. We will have to tighten up at the back cause Torres loves playing against us and even the way he's playing at the moment if he gets some of the chances that Blackburn got he will bury them. Forgot to say aswell Ryan Nelsen should have been sent off with his challenge on Drogba, Drogba was definitely through on goal and I hardly doubt Salgado would have caught him.

Thats a good point (or two :lol:) it is 2 extra points we dropped last season. Just hope we pick up and start to perform aswell as getting results cause we have some big games coming up.

Lol Well Liverpool are starting to play better, Torres has a good record against us and nothing like a big win to turn your season around we are gonna have to pick up our performance especially defensivley
