Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
Our charge up the table grinds to a halt. Willian loses the ball then Courtois doesn't clear the cross setting up an easy header. Subs were ineffective. Remy ambled about to no effect. Loftus-Cheek proves he's got a long way to go. Imbula is what we miss in midfield. At least Costa and Fabregas will be fresh for Wednesday.

Clear penalty on Oscar.

How did a classy player like Imbula end up at Stoke? For 18m? Bit of a bargain.

Norwich city vs Chelsea - PL - 01/03/16 19:45 GMT
Well looks like we're saving ourselves for the PSG game. Just a shame we had a couple of league matches before then. Wonder if we'll manage any tackles this weekend.

Southampton v Chelsea - PL 27/02/16 KO 15:00 GMT
Looking at the Fabregas goal, if Forster hadn't been so busy appealing for the ball going out he might not have made such a cock up for the cross. Didn't cover himself in glory for the second either.

Costa might not have scored today but the guy fought for the cause. You can tell how much it meant to him at the end. Great result against a side that's on a roll and doesn't concede much. Only downside is the injury to Pedro just as he was starting to show form. Hope it's not too serious.

Ivanovic! Captain, leader, almost a legend.

Diego did well to keep that in. Good cross from Fabregas fooled the keeper. Bit lucky but we needed that.

Diego needs to score to calm himself down.

Maybe his head's not right. I'm sure Hiddink's got his reasons.

It was terrible defending from Rahman. Really casual and naive. Not much Courtois could do given it was set on a plate for Long. I hope that isn't the game right there...

Who should be next "long-term" Chelsea manager?
Wouldn't surprise me if this was the case. Pellegrini is the most compliant candidate out there and would do just as he's told. The last thing Emenalo would want is a manager who knows what they're doing as this would expose him for the charlatan he is. Let's hope that Abramovich doesn't fall for Emenalo's self-serving routine.

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Exactly. He's fourth choice at PSG but he has played many more games than any of our youngsters combined. PSG can afford to rotate him into the side and give him the necessary experience probably because of the level of domestic competition that PSG face. Plus when he does start he's playing alongside two out of three top quality midfielders which gives him the space to impress. I don't think our bench was on the same level as PSGs last night. Result was fair in the end. We played better than I expected. I still would make PSG favourites to go through but at least we've given ourselves a chance.

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Rabiot is only 20 years old but has made nearly 100 appearances already for PSG. He's much further along in his development than any of our equivalent youngsters. Plus he's having to compete in a quality midfield and a larger squad. But Blanc still only gave him a cameo appearance last night preferring his more experienced players in such an important game. He could call on the likes of Cavani and Pastore from the subs bench while Hiddink really only had Oscar. Simple fact is the quality of their bench far exceeded ours and Hiddink said as much after the game.

MOTM vs PSG (A) (CL)
Willian was our best player by a country mile. Rahman, Courtois, Azpi and Cahill also put in good performances. We needed more from Costa, Hazard, Fabregas to have got anything out of the game.

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Understandable though given that we basically had Oscar on the bench when they could bring on Cavani, Pastore and Rabiot.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Thought he did fine tonight considering he's getting back to match fitness. Faded second half but that wasn't surprising considering he played 90 mins last Saturday for the first time in a while. our best players...

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Probably because most of their players were rested for their last league game. And they had a stonger bench so were able to bring on fresh legs.

Not a good couple of minutes from Mikel. Poor challenge to give away the free kick and then turns his back in the wall.

Baba Rahman - The heir to Ash?
Well if he's picked to play against PSG tomorrow I'm hoping Baba Rahman can rise to the occasion. Nowhere to hide at this level...

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Hoping he doesn't jump ship at the earliest opportunity. Would like to think we can build around him for the next couple of years and he regains confidence and form. Don't see his slump this season as anything other than a temporary thing.

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Seriously now. With Terry out injured it might have been an advantage to have Matic sitting back alongside Mikel to protect the defence. Now we're down to a makeshift defence and Mikel as the only defensive midfielder to call upon. Should be interesting at least.

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Tough to lose our first choice centre-backs going into this game. I'd have fancied us to do well otherwise. Baba Rahman and Ivanovic are going to have put in solid displays if we’re to have a chance of getting a decent result now. The way we backed off for the Newcastle goal yesterday doesn't inspire confidence. PSG have a formidable strike force and we're going to need a lot of luck and some good defending to keep them at bay.

Chelsea vs. Newcastle Sat, 13 Feb 2016 17:30
Good to get a positive result against one of our bogey teams. Hiddink went for it by leaving Mikel out and starting with Hazard and Pedro. Looks like he just got tired of all those draws. Good, relaxed workout for the PSG game. But pretty sure Hiddink will bring back Mikel and Oscar for Tuesday. Costa, Willian and Pedro were terrific. Some of Fabregas' passing from the back was sublime. Hope Terry is fit for Tuesday. We looked understandably edgy when he left the pitch.
