  1. Cuadrado played barely any games compared to Di Maria, joined in January, didn't have to be relied on like Di Maria, also uhmm the price might spring to mind?
  2. To say he is an important squad player is sugar coating the fact that he has failed to get himself into our starting 11 for the past 8/9 years, despite Essien having long term injuries and no other midfielders to cover Mikel still couldn't get himself into the side. If he is a what you call important member of our squad then we can go as far to say our backup keepers are important players of our squad. As a squad player I've always found him far too inconsistent and unreliable, has good games bad games whenever he is called upon, again inconsistent. And also in my opinion not good enough and could do with being replaced.
  3. Or he doesn't really care? I would go for that one. Benitez has always been a funny one to make fun of, mainly because he is a twat, not a whole great deal of effort goes through insulting him really, as for his wife well done for making your husband even more of a laughing stock.
  4. Not many have played a compact defensive game as we did, he did very well but as did everyone else in the side, morale appeared to be on our side all the time, and that's not shrugging off what he did by any means. I just fail to see why this is brought up for a player who has been here for so long and failed to deliver time and time again consistently. I couldn't blame anyone who doubted him or bashed him quite honestly, he has certainly proven he's not good enough.
  5. Well deserved, hoping for another great season from the Serb, we will need him.
  6. I say we have to put the faith in Zouma at the back. He's not a replacement for John Terry, he doesn't seem to have that awareness or organisation Terry has from what I've seen, he's less patient. I think he has a lot of potential though, could definitely be an upgrade on Gary Cahill I reckon, his physical abillities is what really makes him stand out, great amount of pace and is certainly no pushover. Mould him now and we have a great defender in our side for many years to come. Good thing is Mourinho clearly rates him, he got a lot of gametime last season, look at it from a youngster perspecive at this club and you'll see the signifance of the gametime he got compared to others, we've shown a lot of faith in him, I have no doubt we have plans for him. I also have no doubt those plans are for him in defence and no where else, that would be a waste of his talents.
  7. I think this is a bad signing but i'm 100% behind him, we have to support him.
  8. Quality player, be a real shame if he does go.
  9. We surely can't all be happy in selling him just yet? Even content at it? Hasn't had a great amount of time to show his worth and even then not every player settles in so easily. I want to see how he does next season, he might have a lot to offer, I think some are really fixated on the idea that we bought him for the sake of it because we gotten rid of Salah. I wouldn't be 100% sure on that one, although it seems a profitable bet that doesn't mean we should give away everything on that idea. I believe our manager has a long term plan from what he has shown, Cuadrado isn't exactly a mediocre player, give him time he can show his worth, maybe he will maybe he wont but being so happy to sell him already shows the impatience we have as fans. I love instant success but sometimes it just isn't that easy.
  10. Well perhaps you don't remember the PL games but I do Stim.
  11. I love the idea of Di Maria failing miserably but he has another season to show his worth, always valuable after a sh*tty start, doesn't have anywhere near as much pressure as I would have expected, could work to his advantage.
  12. Not exactly considering it is one game, long servent of the club I hear we should not disrespect him, great 'ONE' game I hear? Well there you go. For the record Kalou was good in that final, keeping Franck Ribery quiet in the final is no easy accomplishment, him and Bosingwa did a remarkable job quite honestly, as did everyone else in that game, please try and tell me one player from that game who didn't play well, I would really like you to try.
  13. Great so we are going to hear about his CL final performance once more. Maybe we should resign Kalou and Bosingwa, they were also good in that final.
  14. I'm surprised you don't considering he plays for a team that isn't Chelsea. Although many think Sterling is overrated, I've never understood the hype of him personally. He seems to be able to take the ball past a few players not seen much else that is spectacular.
  15. He had very little pressure also, he was still over praised by the likes of Phil terrible haircut Neville just for running about a bit. When Torres was the biggest signing it was much more of an issue, if he made a bad pass he was headlining most of the papers for it.
  16. Lol ^ after all the Ozil love he now loves Mikel.
  17. Can't remember claiming that youth is something we desperately need right now but whatever floats your boat I guess. As for RLC I think it's pretty clear, since we are thin in the central midfield area for decent options it would be harsh to rely on RLC should Matic or Fabregas be injured. Mikel has shown over time his inconsistency, but we persist on keeping him, I don't see how it will benefit us but I'll accept it. Ramires in the pivot has never worked really has it, it's brought out the worst in him since Mourinho has came. So yes I think leaving us the only option of playing RLC should Matic or Fabregas be out is a big gamble. Remember we are wanting to win the league again?
  18. If he isn't leaving then that will more than likely mean we aren't going to sign a midfielder. That for me is worse news than Cech going to Arsenal, not trying to sound all doom and gloom or anything, we still have a great side that will keep on improving, however I do think Matic needs a partner other than just Fabregas. Giving Loftus Cheek that responsibility is a huge gamble.
  19. I think you're sugar coating the Bastian signing to how you want it, personally I think it's pretty simple, he's a big name, United are one of the biggest sponsors in the world and most supported, they have to keep up their image. It's their image that will save them from having a downfall after Fergie left, and when I mean downfall I'm not talking about 2-3 seasons not contending for the title. I'm not going to hold high expectations to what he will bring to your team, a lot of injuries can do a lot to a 30 year old, I don't fear the signing, if it was Bastian without the injuries and a few years ago, I definitely would. As for unbalanced you could be right, but again transition is important, that's almost a new midield you've got right there, that's not going to perform great instantly, it takes time.
  20. That's a bit sugar coated, it's still a very unbalanced side that whole midfield has two brand new midfielders in it, one with a lot of injuries and well past his prime, the other I have found pretty overrated myself, but that's just my opinion. Herrera was pretty good last season when it came to scoring goals, not sure if he will do his duties to a great fashion consitently though, that remains to be seen. Also Mata is still yet to actually yet to show his true colours, that's if he ever will, he still hasn't looked remotely close to what he did at Chelsea, putting in man of the match performances almost every game. At United he's gone missing a lot. Di Maria not so impressive but I'm sure he will do much better next season, he's a quality player. As for your strikers I think you definitely need another one, which no doubt you'll be signing. Defence will obviously improve. Still the Schweinstieger buy just reeks panic too me, perhaps not panic but just spending without second thoughts. I think the wiser decision would have been to go for someone younger. Obviously United are showing they are not willing to risk tranisition. We will be expecting to see this from them, if you really think you aren't going to sign playerso on reputation then I think you're deluded, it's pretty clear that's something United will do in the coming years.
  21. Hate the whole scouse media for example Sky Sports, just full of Raheem Sterling bashing. Phil Thomson and Jamie Carragher have said in the latest article that this deal benefits Liverpool and Raheem Sterling isn't a great player, YEAH i'm sure they would have said that had he of stayed at Liverpool.
  22. I think things would have been huge had City of won the Premier League with him there, especially if he had contributed more, he did save them a lot of points in November and December. Since January it looked like we did well to sell him when we did, he was pretty awful everytime I saw him play, yet Pelleigrini still persisted with playing him everytime they needed a goal constantly after he was failing to deliver.
  23. The most crucial thing we need to do in the transfer window is sign a midfielder in my opinion. We are far too short of good options in the central role besides Matic and Fabregas. Loftus Cheek doesn't have the experience to be relied on, Mikel is Mikel, Ramires tends to usually play awful in the two man midfield role. I think we need a partner for Matic then give Fabregas the freedom of going forward by rotating with Oscar in the number 10 role, another role we would save from being skint of options. Besides that not too concerned. I have faith in Cuadrado when some have already given up, disappointing to see, Falcao I'm disapponted but what other options do we have. Only thing I'm sad to see is that we aren't in for a midfielder just yet, but we need to remember it's the 7th of July, we have plenty of time.
  24. Personally if I bought this for PC and was a big fan of MMO's I would be disappointed. It's not in the same class as the likes of AION or Star Wars Galaxies in its prime etc. But for console I think it really fits the bill, I mainly play these sorts of games for PVP anyway. The whole levelling system is pretty easy until you reach the higher ranks but nothing is majorly off putting about the game for me. I think it's very good, it wouldn't be a success on consoles if it shared the usual MMO combat systems, they've based the combat system off the elder scrolls games as much as they can. I think they've done a good job on it. I enjoy the game quite honestly, great if you're a console gamer but if you're a PC gamer and like MMO's then no, because there are much better ones out there.
