He played about 30 minutes or so in our first 4 matches, and Eto'o wasn't even here then. With him here, his playtime would take another hit. And, he wanted to go on loan himself, he knew he could potentially waste another season, like the one before last year, and he had to make sure he is in contention for a spot in the Belgium team in the World Cup.

Now we have another striker in, and Lukaku would have even played less, if that is possible. A loan to a good thing where he will play is a pretty good decision, and E'too will move on next year anyways.

I don't think winger is an easy position, you basically need speed, technique and similar attributes which are mostly gifts you are or aren't born with. I'd say LB/RB might be one of the easier positions to play.

Even though I have no idea how Eto'o played for Anzhi, and how he's gonna do for us, I can still be sure he won't be as bad as Torres.

Ego is an interesting factor, while CR for example sometimes drives people nuts, Hazard is like the exact opposite, while he's not afraid to take people on, he passes a little too much, or dare I say he doesn't want to do it himself too many times and instead chooses to pass and let's someone else take the man on or else. You only have to watch him for five minutes and it's clear his technique and speed with the ball can only be matched by a few players in the world.

Players like Mata/Özil base their game on everything else rather than strength. You'll hardly see Özil winning a header or a tackle, but it's not his job. He has to be strong enough to not be pushed away from the ball every time, and it's enough. Why are we even discussing it? The weak Mata completed two phenomenal seasons and was Chelsea's best player both times, playing better then Özil too, I'd say.

I doubt he is captain material, probablu hardlys speaks english, which means he cannot tell the bar stewards aka referees to go f**k themselves, and for the same reason and the fact that he looks 14 as Blueblur said, he'd hardly have captain authority. And he just doesn't seem the character.
