Malouda in the team is basically us with 10 men. Sorry to say it as he was awesome for a while but this season has been truely awful... Would be better to use Betrand in front of Cole IMO, or move Kalou to the left and put Bosingwa/Essien on the right. We are losing pace with no Ramires we need to keep that there imo and Malouda does not offer that. Still though prove me wrong Flo if you start, I'll gladly eat humble pie if you win us the CL.

Agreed but only one mans opinion matters and that is Romans and a season without CL football will not sit well with him.

Robbie is now a winning manager with us, an FA cup winner as player and now manager. One match, 90 plus minutes, maybe a few more than that, one more great display and he will be known as the greatest manager in Chelsea history. Without JT, Ramires and Brana it will be hard against a side as great as Bayern. However if he can pull it off he will become the greatest imo.

Mikel can be a bit thick, we have seen that on Chelsea TV so sounds likely he thought he was the last guy and just went with it.

I would without a doubt, however imo Roman only will IF we win the CL final.

Think Randy has the side bang on, though would prefer Paulo at right back, as I would the CL final if the choice is between him and Bosingwa. Central defence lacks pace without Cahill and Luiz, which might become an issue with Suarez, Gerrard and co making runs in there. Ironic given Cahill and Luiz lack in the air and, we hope anyways, they will be facing Gomez in Munich. On another note not sure if Luiz and Cahill can just slot back in to the side for the CL final if they have not played before it, will they be fit enough to face Bayern?

Think you could pick 4 fans out of your section at the back and it not make much of a difference overall because of how impressive your midfield and front line is. That combination of Kroos, BS, Muller, Robben, Ribery and Gomez is a better attack than Barca, Real or anyone else for that matter could assemble imo.

Agreed if Liverpool go in front we will not be able to come back to win the game imo. They will defend deep, make it so we cannot get in behind and are left to rely on Cisse-esc goals to get us back in to the game.

Hope Robbie is proved right by a great display and result for us on Saturday. Even had we won Spurs could end up beating a very poor Villa side and Fulham at home making what we did/do in the league meaningless in terms of the top 4. Is amazing to think how far the scale can tip. Robbie can end up being the greatest manager in Chelsea history, one of a select group to deliver silverware or the worst manager in the Roman era! What a few weeks it is going to be for him and us.

On a personal level I agree. Love the FA cup, beating Liverpool for it would be amazing and beating Bayern would be truely epic. However as far as Roman goes Robbie now HAS to win the CL imo

I`ll guess from Robbie`s selections against the Toon we will go with: Cech, Brana, Luiz, JT, Cole, Meireles, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Kalou and Drogba.

QPR are carp and Newcastle (Wigan result aside) have been great of late. Line ups ended up being the wrong way around sadly. Robbie took a big gamble, one that only pays off with a massive confidence shot of beating Liverpool and winning the FA cup.

Mata still played 55 mins though, Drogba 40, Lamps 20. We rested Cole true and can hope Luiz or Cahill is back for Saturday.

Best of luck to the Toon to get 4th now then, so if we do fall to Bayern at least is them that gets the CL spot.

We were in the FA cup until we faced Spurs, but the CL is where we showed what we can do at our best. Coincidental that Roman has been said to warn starts that heads will roll after sacking AVB that we look amazing in the competition Roman craves more than any other?

This side will not, for a start JT, Brana, Meireles and Ramires will not be involved! lol. But after the FA cup final we are in the same boat as Bayern, league games mean nothing so we can rest players.
