  1. Alonso messed around and once again it has led to a dreadful first half.
  2. Gusto again... Looks like a back 4 with either Fofana at RB and Gusto LB or Gusto RB and Hato LB. Could be a back 3 with Gusto and Neto as wing backs. If Gusto is on the left Alonso has done that as hulls right sided midfielder is left footed and loves to counter. Team is made weaker leaving out Lacroix and including Gusto.
  3. Don't forget to get your predictions in: @Mod @Valerie
  4. Given who is out most of Alonsos 11 seems very likely. Only question marks for me is whether he puts in Fofana or Colwill alongside Lacroix and Josh, and whether he goes with Gusto or Neto. The other 9 players, including the more physical Hato at lwb again, seem nailed on.
  5. Roma, and their coach in particular, are said to want Jamie Gittens as well, if we can work out a deal that means they have to buy him after a loan then bringing in Kone really should be a priority.......
  6. As a center back in a back 4 I'd agree with you. The RCB and LCB in a back 3 have more responsibility to create, join up with the midfield and attack, and be mobile. The latter is Reece biggest issue as the more mobile he is the great chance of his getting another injury.
  7. Same reason I put Hato on the other side. Hull will sit back and counter, we need options to spread the play quickly to break them down.
  8. Various reports Todd and Mark Walter are very close to an agreement to sell their shares to Clearlake. They will make a profit on their investment but the deal will fall short on their aim for Chelsea, as a whole, to be valued at 5 billion. Good riddence to them, now just need Hans Jorg Wyss and Clearlake themselves to pi$$ off as well.
  9. Match prediction thread is up. Don't forget to get your predictions in:
  10. Your prediction should be of the score, the first goal scorer and the minute of the first goal. For example, if I am predicting a win for the famous CFC by a scoreline of 3-1, and Morgan Rogers to score first in the 25th minute, I would write Chelsea 3-1 Hull City, Rogers 25 NOTE: If you do not include the team names in your prediction and instead just put the score, e.g. "1-2" I will assume Home - Away. If you're predicting a 0-0, then the player name and minute should be of the first shot on target, rather than first goal. If you predict a scoring game, but the result is 0-0, then the player name and minute will, again, be of the first shot on target. If you are predicting an own goal as the first scorer, you don't need a player name, but you do need to specify which team gets the goal. E.g. If Chelsea are playing Zetas all stars and you think the amazingly coached wonderkids will score first with being gifted an own goal, it would be something like: Zetas all stars 2-1 Chelsea, Own Goal (Zeta all stars), 35. So the own goal team is the team that gets the goal, not the team that puts the ball into their own net. Deadline is 5 minutes before kick-off. Maximum of 1 change per person. ------------------ Correct Result (W, D, L): 1 point Correct Score: 5 points Correct First Scorer: 5 points Correct First Scorer and Minute: 15 points Correct Everything: 30 points
  11. I hear you. In the air is a concern but we should see a lot of the ball, Hull have been using a back 5 with 4 in front of them and just mcburnie up top. We will need to use width to get around them so Hato and Reece pushing up to work with Neto and Chavarria I feel will be our best bets to break them down.
  12. Martinez James Lacroix Hato Neto Lavia Barco Chavarria Palmer Joao Pedro Rogers
  13. Hull are unbeaten in their opening 3 league games. 2 wins and a draw, 3 scored and 0 let in. That said of course we need to win but us keeping a clean sheet seems like a bit
  14. Got rid of a few players who are nowhere near good enough. Gusto and Gittens stand out as 2 more who need to sling their respective hooks.
  15. Perhaps Hato would be a better LCB option.
  16. Maybe he needs a defensive coach to come and work with our lot. I really don't see how Caicedo being back means we suddenly can keep clean sheets. As we saw against Arsenal a top side will shut us down. Our defence as a team must improve.
  17. Loving our attacking ability but I cannot stand us being so sh*t at the back. Has to change you cannot expect to win the biggest prizes if you conceded a minimum of 2, and often more, goals a game.
