Honestly think Alonsos main two targets were Wharton and Scott, and he wants them both. Both their clubs made it clear neither of them was for sale.

I doubt Bournemouth change their stance on him in January, few clubs do unless the player is in his last 6 months. Would take an offer larger than the Tonali fee to make them consider it, and we are not looking to pay that much, unless Bournemouth pay it back for one of our players I. E. What Villa did with Jackson. Now next summer when he has 12 months left on his current deal Bournemouth would have to change their position, but we'd also have a lot more competition.
