Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2025/26
I mean that seems unlikely. This should be a great season for them. Not only have they recruited well but it seems Lady luck was also a secret signing. They are getting the best draws in each competition. Byes in the Caraboo unil the semi final, byes to the CL semi final, every round in the fa cup easy. Favorable run in, in the league, bar City away, all easy games. I mean to get Spurs followed by us after having a big wobble at lowly Wolves... I mean if they could play just the two of us for the rest of the season they would win the quad! I don't think they win all 4, but ending empty handed seems also farfetched.

Looks more like a Europa League draw until the semi final. They can rest players and go through if they chose to do so. They should, at minimum, make the final, imo.

Chelsea book £342 million loss for 24/25 financial year
@markpitts How much are Gittens, Garnacho and Hato on? I heard it reported at greater than 100k each, a lot more than the had at their previous clubs. We've capped the maximum wages we will pay 1 player, but are bringing in many and paying them this off amount. On A side note, if we start looking to sell or best players because of financial issues, id be surprised if buying clubs don't take advantage of our position. "Oh we know you are in bother Chelsea. Nevermind that 100mill you asked for just Cole Palmer. We will give ou 85mill for him and Cucurella, take it or leave it"

Which players will the club try to offload this summer?
Do you have faith in our directors to negotiate such prices? That seems plausible to me.

Think he will go for an arsenal double eh? Our red card 11 is still missing spots: Sanchez Gusto Fofana Chalobah Cucurella Caicedo Joao Pedro We do still need two wingers, a 10 and a 6 to be sent off to complete the team. So with that in mind Andrey Santos come on down!

This video of younes discusses about this. It is a good analysis for anyone who wants to watch.

Chelsea book £342 million loss for 24/25 financial year
I mean many on here would be happy to see Enzo sold. He would be our biggest name to sell to cause the least backlash on BlueCo, imo. Really I think only selling Reece and Estevao causes significant backlash, others like Caicedo, Cucurella and Santos would cause rumblings but not full on discontent, unless we had a fire sale of all leaving at the same time. What makes you think Enzo wants out?

If only such news would drive BlueCo to sell sooner rather than later.

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
I'm not 100% sure on the two teams here. However Ares management, who provided us a loan of 500mill at a interest rate on 12.96%, have a history in the game of taking control of clubs who canot pay them back on time. I think I hear the two clubs this happened with were Lyon and Inter Milan.

Huh well I guess some of the journos are calling it like it is now:

Monaco end up being down to 10 in both games vs PSG in the early stages of the second halfs, and only miss out by a single goal on aggregate. Not sure whether Newcastle or PSG is the better draw for us.

Which players will the club try to offload this summer?
That's the crux of it, and what hedge funds do. Buy at a lower price, build up the business value then sell of and make their slice. The fire sale the UK government put us under was an opportunity too good, or at least they thought it was, for Clearlake to pass on.

Why I put the try in there mate :)

Which players will the club try to offload this summer?
Honestly don't think they care what the fanbase feels or does. Only a regularly half or less empty stadium would cause them some concerns.

Which players will the club try to offload this summer?
There are 2 players, I feel, they will look to sell if they don't sign new deals as they will have 2 years left on their contracts in the summer Reece James and Marc Cucurella. Trev and Tosin will also have 2 years left, I think they will try to sell them but won't get the valuation they want for them, and that could see them get new deals out of panic. As for the rest of players they would try and move on for Sales: Solnina, Disasi, Badiashile, Lavia, Neto, Garnacho, Guiu, Jackson. Plus various players we've probably forgotten about, like DD Fofana. I believe Delap, Jorgensen and Gittens will be moved on via loans to try and increase their values.

The John Terry Appreciation Thread
JT has been speaking recently on Jimmy Ballard's Golf show. He said he was disappointed not to be involved with the coaches that took charge of the city and fulham away games. It is rather interesting that he was not there at least as an assistant, especially since he has been working with the under 21s before. Also That he did not get the under 21 job when Callum McFarland moved in to the first team role.

Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea!
I'd also be interested in the opinion of others on here about Cole and Pedro Neto. Have Heard it said on a couple of fan channels that thy rarely even pass to each other, only doing so as a last resort.

I mean we were a Villa win away to a perfectly dismal weekend for us.

Cannot say I always check their results however Everton seem to lose more at their new ground than they did at Goodison.

I mean Summerville plays for a different Claret and Blue team...so- BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Won't get an argument from me on this Bob. Until BlueCo leave we won't return to the top table of serious, top clubs. Even then the damage may be too great.- BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
