Marcos Alonso also injured in the warm up. Zouma replaces him. We're f**ked, aren't we?

Good article by Sam Wallace. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/04/15/fallen-aristocrats-milan-must-find-way-european-footballs-new/ I hope Milan return to relevance. Great club and a historical European powerhouse.

We've not kept a clean sheet for 9 games yet you want Zouma to solve that? Zouma has been personally responsible for us losing 2-3 clean sheets within those 9 games. I can remember vividly him coming on against Arsenal and gifting Giroud a goal when he was supposed to solidify the defense and see out the game. Just stop it. Zouma would weaken our game plan. Also, Carroll is arguably the best striker in the league aerially. That's his bread and butter. How many headed goals has Zlatan scored this season? That's right, not many. Certainly not as much as Carroll. We handled Zlatan just fine in October and we'll handle him just fine here. You think Luiz is going to watch Zlatan just latch himself onto Azpi? Don't kid yourself. They'll need to use a different option (like Spurs did with Alli instead of Kane) if that's what they want to do. And I think we've learnt from the Spurs game so if up to them if they want to try that.

Hopefully, they won't need to as we'd have it wrapped up already by then. That's Matchday 37. We need to wrap this up by 35 or 36 at most.

Kylian Mbappe
Our bid definitely won't be successful. It would be rejected within 2 minutes. United tried to get Bale off them, even offering more than Madrid offered but they chose to sell him to Madrid. Levy would rather stick a fork in his eye than sell to a top Premier League team. I think Berbatov was the last straw for him. Which is fine. It's not like they've got Messi on their team. There are players as good and even better on other teams.

Spurs have proven over and over again that they will roll over for United and Arsenal. United already beat them once this season. They also have to play West Ham. Spurs have won 7 straight. To "keep the pressure" or take advantage if we slip up, they'd have to win 13 straight to close out the season, matching the record we reached earlier this season. They're not going to do that. Period.

Romelu Lukaku
Right. I missed that part. I think you're right. I may not like the lad and I may want other targets rather than him but I'd love to see him gun for 30. Would show his hunger and determination.

Even if they do, we don't have to win our remaining matches to see out the title. We havea lot of room for error. They don't.

I don't even know how this is so hard to understand. Whose position would we rather be in? Ours or Spurs'? And no matter what it looks like....it's still Spurs ffs! Why are so many people flustered? They'll throw a game away soon.

FFS get a grip! How can you be this wobbled from essentially 7 points ahead? The mood in this thread the last few pages is utterly confusing. You'd think we were 1 point behind Fergie's 08 United with the way you lot are almost crying. Christ.

I do hope both Milanese clubs get back to what they used to be between 96 and 2008 though. They made the CL richer in quality. I'd rather see Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan than Napoli and Roma who are jokers. Hopefully Premier League teams step up to the plate next season as well. You just know Spurs will do f**k all though.

Romelu Lukaku
As poor as Costa is in the air, Lukaku isn't any better than him there, stop it. For a guy of his size and stature, he's pretty poor in the air. Can knock in the odd header here and there but so can Costa. They're miles away from someone like Drogba in the air. Not sure why you'd use that to make a case for Lukaku.

Kylian Mbappe
That's a picture from when he was on trial for Chelsea, apparently. Thank God we didn't sign the lad. He wouldn't be half the player he is right now. He'd be on loan somewhere in the Championship or at Vitesse.
-
Andrea Belotti
We shouldn't be spending anything more than 60m on a player who's had only a season and half of great performances. The market is insane these days, Christ!

Kylian Mbappe
They didn't sell Modric to us, what makes you think they'd sell their golden jewel Kane? You're in fantasy land here mate.

Andreas Christensen
People look at this lad and STILL want to waste 50 odd million on buying a new CB? It just seems to me like a lot of Chelsea fans are getting too used to shiny new toys. Christensen is READY!

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

Their game against Spurs is May 14. He hasn't even crossed the Europa League QF yet. I hope they get knocked out there.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

You have to wonder why Hazard still hasn't worked on his free kicks. He has the technique to score some real beauties if he works on it. Doesn't care enough? He scored on towards the end of last season, didn't he?- Man Utd Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 16/04 2017 KO 16:00 GMT
Personally think Jose will want to get a win as they've had so many draws this season (11 wins, 10 draws) and at this point in the season, they desperately need 3 points. Also, they're at home. If that makes any difference. And he'd want to have it on record that he beat Conte this season, knowing how massive his ego is (which isn't a bad thing tbf, it's one of the reasons he was a great manager). But I think we can beat them rather comfortably. With our recent errors in defense they're probably going to score so I'd say 2-1 with Zlatan getting one for them. I do think everyone's ignoring the fact that Hazard is playing in this game though. Forget about Costa for a minute. Hazard almost always turns up against United and at the moment, he's on really good form. I bet he gets a goal and/or an assist on Sunday. I personally think he'll be the one to decide the match. It's funny how despite our stellar record against United over the past 18 years or so, I always feel nervous playing against them. They've only beat us twice since 2002 and one of those, they needed a ref job to knock us down to 9 men and score an offside winner. But I somehow always feel nervous playing against them. Even when Moyes and LVG managed them. Funny. 2-1 Chelsea. (Hazard, Kante | Zlatan) - Man Utd Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 16/04 2017 KO 16:00 GMT
