Alvaro Morata
Never going to happen. Mbappe is a Madrid fan and Madrid want him too. If not this summer, they'll get him next summer and for some crazy fee.

Your dream summer window?
That is never going to happen (neither should it even happen) and you know it. To be fair, Didier was a bit of a whiny c**t when he first came here. All that diving and what not was extremely infuriating. I think he grew into his own and got some maturity after a few seasons. The Didier that won us the double and the CL isn't the same Didier that arrived in 2004.

Your dream summer window?
Fabio Cannavaro who won a Balon d'Or playing at CB was 5'9. Mascherano at Barca is also 5'9. You don't need to be a giant to play at CB. Granted someone as short Verratti would be at a great disadvantage but 5'9 is good enough if the talent, awareness and physicality is there and Ake is 5'11. I understand your concern but if he really is cut out for football at the top level, height is not a problem.

Your dream summer window?
You're also forgetting that De Gea is also a world class superstar. Not only is he arguably the 2nd best GK in the world behind Neuer, he was also born in Madrid and is Spain's number 1 GK for the national team. He's pretty much as big a signing as Hazard would be. He'd cost them around 70m as well. And the rumours about that transfer have gained a lot of steam recently. It's one of the reasons the Courtois rumours died out (apart from the player himself rubbishing it). Perez's big signings aren't only in election year either (James - 2014) so if he can get a De Gea this summer, I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming back in for Hazard next summer.

Your dream summer window?
Hazard hasn't got any business with the RM presidential elections. That's Perez's problem. I get the feeling Hazard wants one last shot at a CL with us, and he has alluded to that a lot in his recent comments. Perez will get De Gea this summer, not Hazard. Doesn't mean they won't make a bid this summer but I expect Hazard to hold on (whether via convincing from Roman and co or whatever means) for 1 more year. Time will tell if I'm right of course. :)

Your dream summer window?
Costa's gone but Hazard isn't getting sold for at least another year. It's as simple as that. Cesc won't leave this summer either. No point imagining scenarios that won't happen.

Random Rumours
Could be a cracking signing. And he's available for just 20m. Love the way he glides across the pitch effortlessly. Can't help but think Tammy could do a similar job but I fancy this lad. Spurs and Arsenal are interested apparently, but if we don't get him, I hope Everton do. He'd be a great investment.

Your dream summer window?
Right. Might as well ask the entire coaching staff and the youth team to be sold as well. Throw in the training ground while you're at it mate. No reason we should suddenly become a selling club in 1 summer. Who cares about money received? We're trying to win the CL next season. We should be getting better, not depleting the team.

Tiémoué Bakayoko
Would cost 80m+. Why buy him when we can buy Sanchez for 30-40m less? Granted Sanchez would be tough to snatch from Arsenal but it's definitely possible.
-
Tiémoué Bakayoko
Nainggolan is being overrated. Scores the occasional screamers but people are acting like he's another Vidal. If he was, he'd have been bought by a top club a long time ago just like Vidal was. Nainggolan is also 29 while Bakayoko is 22. For 31m, Bakayoko is a great buy. Roma would probably ask for something a little higher for Nainggolan which makes it a pointless deal, considering he'll probably been done at the top level in 2-3 years. Bakayoko will keep improving for the next 5 years and will be a much better player than Nainggolan eventually, especially under Conte's guidance - just like Vidal came into his own under Conte. There's no debate here for me.

If we win the title in the next few weeks in which way would you want to win it ?
Who cares? However it comes, it still counts as our 6th title the same way. As long as it's in our trophy room, it doesn't matter.

who else is feeling more skeptical about winning the league as each fixture approaches?
What a simplistic way to make excuses for failure. It's not a mere "didn't win it", is it? We were 13 points ahead a few weeks back. Then 10 points ahead. Then 7 points ahead. Then 4 points ahead. If we were competing in a +/- 3 point race with a rival for majority of the season and ended up not winning it, your claims would be valid. Being ahead for months and then losing it at the tail end isn't mere "not winning it" and you know it. Save all the "it's social media" talk. That would apply in 2017 just like it would apply in 1997. If we lose it from this point out, it's a bottle job. Plain and simple. Don't make excuses for potential failure.

Our New Stadium
That looks like a proper toilet seat. Rival fans would have had a field day making fun of that. Dodged a bullet there.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
He will leave for Madrid but you're very naive if you think he'll leave THIS summer. That won't happen until at least next year. Also, Madrid are apparently giving Asensio a chance to prove himself. So that's going to take another season for them. Chelsea aren't going to sell this summer either. Not until we've had another go at the CL with him. This is Chelsea we're talking about. Let's use some logic based on history and how this club is run. Leave all the sensationalism from the papers out of this. Also, Ronaldo isn't becoming a #9. It's just the way Zidane plays his formation sometimes that sees him drift centrally every now and then waiting for a cross.

If we don't win it, it will be us blowing it. Because regardless of how they finish, if we do our jobs, we win it.
-
who else is feeling more skeptical about winning the league as each fixture approaches?
I don't think you lot realize that they NEED to equal our 13 game win streak in other to win the title. A streak that's the highest in league history. Easier said than done. We'll see.
-
who else is feeling more skeptical about winning the league as each fixture approaches?
Judging by comments from Conte and the boys, that's the mentality they have too. So I don't see any need for panic.

Lot of doom and gloom here 4 points ahead. Amazing. First of all, as history as proven, it doesn't matter how sh*t a form Arsenal are in, when they play Spurs, they almost always beat Spurs. Besides, Arsenal have a new found confidence and have been playing 3 at the back the past few games trying to get top 4 so that game at the weekend is even more important for them than it is for Spurs, believe it or not. Arsenal will also want to spoil their party seeing as it's the last NLD at WHL. Don't underestimate that fixture. West Ham....all you have to do is ask Spurs fans. No matter how bad they're playing, they raise their game several levels when it's time to play Spurs. And they play it in their stadium too, in front of their own fans. You better believe they'll be up for that game. And yes, Hull will need points on the last day so that is by no means an easy match for them either. Not to mention Leicester has shown this evening that even though they have nothing more to play for, they'd still like to get 3 points. I think in your effort to express how we're overestimating Spurs' fixtures, you've gone on to underestimate it all. You've also ignored the fact that Spurs have lost a lot of points away from home this season and 3 of their last 5 games are away while we have 3 of our last 5 at home. Finally, if we focus on ourselves and win all our games (even if we lose to Everton this weekend) nothing Spurs do will matter. They can win their last 5 games with 7-0 scorelines each, it won't matter if we pull out 1-0 wins to close out the season.

Let's hope Koeman tries to outdo himself again by playing 3 at the back against us.

Spurs aren't winning BOTH Palace and Arsenal. I'd put 100 quid on that.

Ahead of us how? It would be a 1 point difference worst case scenario.

Chelsea Vs Southampton (PL) Tue 25/04 2017 KO 19:45 GMT
Because they played a tough match against Liverpool on Sunday and he's got his eye on the Burnley match at the weekend. Doesn't mean they can't get something against Spurs though.

Big Sam has already beaten all other London teams, he needs to complete it with a win against Spurs tomorrow. Hopefully they win 3-2.

Well done to Costa finally playing well tonight. Hopefully he can keep it up to see out the season. Still worried about our defence though. The way it's looking, Lukaku is sure to score at the weekend, seeing as we never keep ex Chelsea players from scoring.
