It's a stupid transfer story. Almost like Azpilicueta being linked to Juve. What reason does Azpi have to move? He's very settled in London and loves playing for Chelsea. Pretty much the same scenario with Sandro.

There are certain rumours that he has signed it already and he's just waiting for the right moment to announce it.

They're not winning no cup though. We are.

That's no way to think as a top club though. There's a reason such clubs are called "top clubs". The mentality is different. It's like telling Chelsea fans to gain some perspective and be grateful for finishing 10th last season rather than being in the championship. For all the money we spend and make and the caliber of players we had, there was no f**king reason to perform that poorly. Same with Arsenal right now. If Conte was their manager, they'd be top. I honestly believe that. Their fans are right knobs but they are spot on with their grievances.

Funny because we finished 21 points behind them last season. I'd love it if it ended that way or even larger  takes the bragging they've had on us from last season out of it for good.

Just woken up from a short nap and seen the scoreline. f**k me! https://streamable.com/l9atf Cabaye's goal is madness!

Andreas Christensen
If Barcelona can start a player like Umtiti in defense at 22, we have absolutely no reason not to play Christensen. I mean, Zouma was starting games for us at 19/20. I've seen the lad play a few times this season and as you said, he reminds me of a young JT as well, if you add pace to JT's game. Can read the game very well and still had a lot of room to grow. Bonucci was 23 when Conte took over at Juventus and he took him from a good young CB into arguably the best CB in the world (similar to how he's turned Luiz into a tank in defense these days). I'm very sure he can do the same with Christensen.

Andreas Christensen
Happy 21st birthday to Andreas Christensen! With any luck, we'll give him a chance instead of shelling big money for a Van Dijk. Clearly one of the most talented young CBs in Europe (dare I say number 1?) and deserves his big chance at Chelsea or we risk foolishly losing him. Loads of potential and we have him for free! Hopefully Conte does the needful.

Bournemouth Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 08/04 2017 KO 17:30 GMT
Could have easily been blocked if the Bournemouth wall had bothered to jump but I guess that's why they're fighting relegation. Things like that should be Defending 101. Great technique on the kick though.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Well let's hope it doesn't come to that. I can't take yet another CL final going down to penalties. Let's win one in normal time for once. I'm actually very optimistic about next year's campaign, especially if we get Sanchez as well. I think he'll Raise Hazard's game even further. Good for him to play with someone like that as he enters his prime.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Has to win at least 1 CL and say 2 more titles apart from this year's if he stays that long. I don't think that's too much to expect from a player of his talent level.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
We could have gotten to another final if Jose didn't f**k up the 2014 semi final against Atletico though. Then again, we might have gotten pasted by a desperate Madrid in the final.

Random Rumours
Every player has zero experience until they start. Means nothing. If you've got the know how, it'll come through. Let Conte pick whoever he feels would be of the most help to him, not picking someone just for the sake of a Chelsea background. Zola and Di Matteo are both bang average managers. Nothing wrong with trying out Pirlo. He was almost ex Chelsea himself as well.

That's counter productive. Ake is left footed while Cahill is a right footed CB playing at LCB out of necessity. Put Cahill at RCB where his foot is natural and plug Ake right there at LCB where he'd also be natural. Problem solved. Also, there's no space for both RLC and Pedro while Hazard is also on the pitch. Not in this formation.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

Time to bin that crystal ball, no?- Chelsea Vs Manchester City (PL) Wed 05/04 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
You forget this is a team that threw the entire season away last year and is only now building back that trademark confidence and professionalism we're known for. To that end, winning that game last night was absolutely vital. How we went about it didn't matter. I'm pretty sure we'll be the attacking side against United when we meet them but we had to see this game out and get the 3 points here. We were more proactive in the 1st half but Cesc was leaving Kante too much work to do and Silva was dancing about our box because of it and so Conte brought Matic on to shut out the game, seeing as we already had the lead. We'll worry about CL performances when we get to the CL, at which point we'd no doubt have better players in the team and hopefully a striker who hasn't got his finger up his arse, as well as much better wing backs. Things like that matter if you want to be proactive in beating City at their game. Especially when it's not your usual style (like Arsenal or Barca).- Chelsea Vs Manchester City (PL) Wed 05/04 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
- Andrea Belotti
I want to say they can do one but the rate at which he's going, if he puts in another season like this or even better, he may well be worth that. He's on course to be only the 3rd Serie A player to score over 30 goals in a season since the 50's. - Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017
