  1. Would prefer Cahill to Luiz to be honest, but happy Berty is ahead of Studge.

Yeah 'lechuga grande' is much better. Definitely something that Javier should consider.

Agreed, he would be very handy to have. Although I would definitely put something in his contract that meant he would have to get rid of that f**king nickname.
  4. It's all about playing time, and Sturridge probably won't be getting much. I'm going Torres captain to start

Breaking Bad- like everyone says, builds up slowly, but once it gets going, there's no comparison. It's the best. Prison Break- Loved every season, even though after season 1 the story gets a bit f**ked up Entourage-Funniest show I've ever watched, plus theres tonnes of episodes (8seasons I think) 24- Pure action, absolutely awesome The Mentalist- cooler, better, funnier version of CSI basically but with a good story Suits- funny series, already on Dave Homeland- Only 1 season which was very good, but the ending was sh*t as they had to leave it open for a new season, which starts Sep 30th in America I think. But yeah, Breaking Bad is definitely the best, incredible story and acting.
  6. Same, was very impressed when Romeu had a spell last season but it doesn't look like RdM rates him particularly highly as he barely got a sniff post AVB. Hopefully it was just because we were playing so many important matches, who knows...
  7. To be honest, I think Mikel has to play against Wigan. Yes, he was absolutely horrendous against City, and through most of pre-season, but Wigan are going to be sitting back and then trying to counter attack. Counter attacks are far less effective if theres a DM sitting back. I wish Essien would get back to his best, would improve the team dramatically. Doubt Oscar will be involved and would prefer him to make his debut as a sub at the Bridge, like Mata last season. The massive cheer when they come on for the 1st time must be amazing for the player. We won't be playing against a much weaker defence than Wigan's all season, so it's a good opportunity for Hazard and co. Hope Cahill starts ahead of Luiz as well, far more solid; especially against the counter attack. Come on you blues
  8. CaughtOffside is just some bloke that lives in his parents attic, that picks players at random and then links them with a random club. Facepalm indeed.
  9. At the end of the day, if RdM thought he was good enough to have played more games, he would have done. If you watched him play for the reserves last season, you would know that he didn't look like he was anywhere near ready for the 1st team. Huge season for him now, hope he takes his chance to impress.
  10. All of these 'Agent ITK' guys are not who they say they are. Makes me sad I when I see that like 30k people follow some of them... The one with 30k followers said Benzema to spurs was a done deal. Ridiculous. Pity to anyone who believes they are who they say there are....
  11. My team would be:- Cech Ivanovic Cahill Terry Cole Lampard Meireles Ramires Hazard Sturridge Torres Would drop Mikel because he looked well off the pace v City. Would maybe swap Meireles for Essien and if he's fit, Marin for Sturridge. Nothing less than a win is good enough, need to get off to a good start this time! Also, would have Mata play, but don't think he's match fit.
  12. I think if Mikel hadn't have played so badly, more people would be questioning his performance. I actually thought he did ok, Lamps and Mikel were being dominated by Yaya and De Jong so didn't really get any service. It's quite obvious how talented he is, just a matter of time before he clicks with the rest of the team. Should be far more concerned by the defence really, very shaky.
  13. Haha true, Liverpool fans not too far behind though.
  14. Sadly it's illiterate little toe rags like this guy that give you City fans a bad name.
  15. With Wigan getting Miyachi, it looks pretty certain now... which is a shame

Problem for Mikel is that when he has a bad game, it's very obvious because of the position he is in. Defensive midfielder is vital to the 4-2-3-1 and when they aren't playing well it doesn't work. Now Frank is getting on, it puts more responsibility on Mikel. I hope today was just an off game for him, because he is going to be key next season. With regards to M'Vila, I would perfer Axel Witsel. More physical and extremely versatile.
  17. We were winning with 11 men, ref desperate to be centre of attention. Positives are obviously Torres and Hazard looking very Sharp, Negatives would be slow build up, very poor defending and John Obi Mikel, who was useless throughout. David Luiz was shaky at times too. Lot's of work to do because Wigan away is by no means an easy 1st game, as we found out on their 1st Premier League season. Haven't got king Hernan to dig us out this time
  18. Haha fair enough. Either way, he's been sh*te today.
  19. I'm a fan of Mikel's but today he has been very poor, and I don't see what pass completion has to do with the point I was making about not helping out the centre backs.
  20. Right, Essien HAS to come on for Mikel, he has been horrendous. Hasn't helped JT or Luiz at all.
