Brentford v Chelsea (FA Cup) 27/01/13 KO 12:00 GMT
You really think he stood out? Imo he was as good / bad as the other players...

Brentford v Chelsea (FA Cup) 27/01/13 KO 12:00 GMT
I think the players could actually be overagressive in a few incidents and collect red / yellow cards. Otherwise I don't think it would be possible...

Brentford v Chelsea (FA Cup) 27/01/13 KO 12:00 GMT
I wouldn't be actually. Every player just needs to turn it up a bit and suddenly Brentford would swim like their in the middle of the Atlantic... What was Cahill on in the first 45 minutes?

It may be the video quality, but the pitch looks awful...

Eden v Ballboy
That's good. They need to investigate if some mafia or sth paid that kid to manipulate the game so they could "bet" on it...
-
Eden v Ballboy
Not sure why (maybe because the first fotage I saw was in slow-mo where it looked like all Hazard wanted to do was kick the ball and not the kid), but I'm much more shocked at the ball-boy for (trying to) manipulating (manipulate) the game in such an obvious and shady way...

Swansea v Chelsea (COC SF 2nd Leg) 23/01/13 19:45 GMT
In real time it looked like he kicks the ball boy (for whatever reason that kid lay on the ball), but in slow-mo it looks like he really just wanted to kick the ball out from under the ball boy. I think you can't really fault the referee who doesn't have a slow-mo, but Hazard shouldn't be banned for a long time imo. (bases on a yt video, not really great quality so ofc I might be wrong in my assessment)

Kevin De Bruyne
No problem. I think I might post in this thread at least after each match about how he's done. Annecdote from yesterdays training: One of our CB's tackled Eljero Elia (dunno if you know him) pretty hard, he had to go to the hospital after the training for a check-up (but is fine again). Kevin commented on this by saying "it's always the same". Seems like he's a bit frustrated with how hard that CB is going in training. Apparently one of our GK's then said something to Kevin about Chelsea, to which Kevin responded "don't talk about Chelsea!", he was pretty mad. Our trainer took him aside and tried to calm him down (and tell him the CB actually didn't hit Elia, but Elia hurt himself.. not sure what the correct english term is... :) ), but it seems like Keving was still sour after training. Just thought I might put this annecdote in, as I'm answering anyways. Nothing major, but I think it shows how much Kevin is concerned with every bit of the professional sports life, not just the games.

Kevin De Bruyne
I was in the stadium. To me he was one of the three players on our side that at least some of the time tried to work against the (painfully embarassing) loss, but 2 or 3 of 10 field players is not enough... Kevin is playing a really important role here, he is amongst the best 2 or 3 players in our games regularly.

biggest club in the country?
You misunderstand me. I know the things you said and it's good when I have these informations. But for leagues I am not that familiar with I don't have them, so I just go by how often I hear of them. You understand?

biggest club in the country?
Thank you! I'm a supporter of Werder Bremen, which is the main reason why I follow Chelsea more closely as of late. To see how Marin is doing and how good our chances might be to get KdBruyne for another season.

biggest club in the country?
Ofc that is the same here, where I actually know these things. But for clubs from other countries I go by "how often do I hear from them". And as far as I read / hear / watch stuff, ManU, ManC, Chelsea and Arsenal just come up way more often than the others in recent years. (Ok and Swansea, but that's because a lot of people in the forum of my club like them very much... ) Just thought I might add this (of course not generalizeable) anecdote from not-in-GB.

I'm from germany and I don't really know much about the PL, except for the big clubs. And because of that I'm really surprised to read that some of you regard Liverpool as bigger than Chelsea. I haven't seriously thought about them as a big PL club for years...

I would think he will be in about 5 minutes after the match has ended.

Well, that wasn't a great day for Walters...

Stoke City vs Chelsea (PL) 12/1/13 KO: 15:00 GMT
Don't you think there are enough youth players that would still be well rested, even if they get ~20-15 minutes? Marin, Oscar, Piazon... ?

Stoke City vs Chelsea (PL) 12/1/13 KO: 15:00 GMT
Well Mata gets a bit of rest (though I think he should've been subbed out earlier) and Terry get's a few minutes. I can understand it, but I think I would've preferred young players to get some minutes. Mostly Marin, because I like him very much, but Oscar would be fine too.

What a goal!

Stoke City vs Chelsea (PL) 12/1/13 KO: 15:00 GMT
I'm biased of course, but I'd like to see Marin get some playtime. Hazard and Mata need to be rested for the important matches to come and this game should be over.

And there's the penalty. Personally I think Mata fell very easy there, but a penalty is not really a wrong decision either. Go Lampard!!
