This almost never happened in germany, though. I'm pretty sure he went to Chelsea thinking that even one year on the bench of a club like Chelsea is good for your resume. Maybe he thought he'd have a chance and maybe he would have if he had a bit more luck regarding injuries and a manager that wasn't acting questionable at times (at least imo.. I mean bitching about how the squad is not fit and then not even using all substitutions...what?). But I'm sure he knew it would be really hard and that luck would have to be a factor for him.

Congrats to scoring two goals for Sevilla! I would love for him to come back being a real option for the team, but I don't think the chances are too high for that to happen. Oh well, one can still dream...

Because I don't have the feeling that he has enough to offer to a team like chelsea. I can ofc be wrong, but my feeling is that he is kind of limited, I can't really put my finger on it but he doesn't seem brilliant enough (to me) for the offensive positions he is playing. But I am excited to find out if I am wrong, actually. :) Would be nice for Chelsea if I am... Also not to be understood wrong: I don't think he is a bad signing just not a player that will bring the club forward as much as other players might have. So, let's wait and see, gl!

Yeah, probably not even that. This guy has something much better than talent, he's got the mindset to become one of the best, imo.

A last opinion: Chelsea shouldn't even think about letting him go. To put it mildly that would be an error of epic proportions, in my opinion. Cheers!
